Voight takes the time to educate himself on the topics he speaks about. I doubt Bette Midler has seen more than 5 minutes of a Glenn Beck show in her entire life.

Therein lies the difference. I don't mind hearing celebrities talking in a rational manner about topics of the day (healthcare, cap and trade, foreign policy, etc.). I mind when they simply regurgitate talking points (from either side of the aisle) as if they were researched truth.

Isn't it a bit ironic that Bette Midler is judging the content of Beck's speech without all the details? Sounds kind of like hate speech to me…to belittle and condemn him without all the facts.

What I think is terrifying to Mz. Bigmouth is that Glenn Beck is revealing the truth and, like most far-left Lib's, she doesn't want to hear the truth about Obama's VERY leftist, radical, and flat out dangerous pals – not to mention getting educated on the very long term damage he is doing to this country if his proposed policies are made into law. Spelling the man's last name correctly would go some ways toward others actually thinking you are intelligent enough to know what you are talking about, unless, of course, it's some clever ploy to try and convince everyone that your intelligence is part of what allows you to go by your nickname (which I kind of doubt; no offense, but you don't strike me as THAT clever).
Even if it was a typo and you left the "h" out of Jon Voight's name by accident, a subsequent note declaring that would also help you in an attempt to sway other bloggers to see things a least a little more from your point of view.
