2 laughing boys for the price of one and the worth of none.
Keep on chucklin, fellas. Nothing better to do.
Obama was actually black before the election.
Letterman was actually funny before the election…..of Bill Clinton.
Letterman is such a prick. Can't believe that he "used" to be funny and entertaining even. EPIC FAIL!!!!
“I think it’s important to realize that I was actually black before the election… So the American people I think gave me this extraordinary honor and that tells you I think a lot about where the country’s at.”
Actually, Mr. President, I agree with you on this. It shows this country is above race. So if you can tell everyone else on your side of the aisle that this is true and to stop throwing the race card, maybe we can move on.
and Dave hasn't been funny since.
and what has Beloved Leader gained from his media blitz? New polls hasn't showed a bounce, even a small one. He chewed up all this PR and got nothing.
He can't keep doing this, the law of diminishing returns take effect here. The more and more he's on, the more and more people will reject him.
I cannot stand to hear Dear Leader's voice any more. I have had enough, nay, way more than enough. I hate to say this it is almost insane but I think Carter was a better POTUS. At least Carter didnt want to control every aspect of your very existance.
I dont think i have ever seen a president do this kind of marketing on himself. I saw this clown on a Geroge Lopez show commercial the other day, seriously? Even bad presidents in the past didnt turn their role into a marketing joke. What a waste of air time. It sickens me to know that the frequency waves of this show traveled through my body at some time. Everything to do with this presidency is a huge joke, and we still have more than 3 years left of it. Cant wait for the day when i seem this idiot on a Pepsi sign or doing a voice on Sponge Bob. Hell i may never see that day, if this guy keeps things up i will probably lose my job's (yes plural! to make ends meet now! Thanks obama!) and my house.
Check out the video: Obama Performs “Stupid Human Trick” on Letterman; Makes Laughable Claim That “Reducing Waste” In Medicare Will Pay For “Most” of His Health Care Plan http://optoons.blogspot.com/2009/09/obama-perform...
The salient question is, which will Obama devalue more, the presidency or the dollar?
He has taken the Presidency and turned it into an envertainment show. He is so full of himself. We are slowly tuning into a thrid world country and America laughs…
laugh on America, laugh on….
I wish someone, anyone, on his staff would tell him THE CAMPAIGN IS OVER! Dude, you won and that big round room in the White House is your OFFICE…could you please, I dunno, WORK!
I guess those commericals of Sen McCain sayiing he was a rock star are true.. The left made fun of them but crap, this guy has been more of an entertainer that a president.
AIr-Force one is his personal G-5 !! I'd love to see what the bill on that has been in the first 8 months so far!!!

Obama would make a great replacement for Plankton(Mr. Krab's arch enemy-you know, the one that's always trying to steal the Kraby Patty Secret Formula!!) on Sponge Bob.
Now here's Letterman doing the giggly little boy thing when he's around Obama. What is it? I know it's not sexual, so what is it?
Look how small Obama is. Do you think Dave raised his chair on purpose so that Barry would have to look up to him, and made Barry sit in a really big chair to make him look smaller? Or is Barry just really as tiny as he looks in that video?
You racist. I saw you call Obama "boy".
(please note sarcasm)
"…So the American people I think gave me this extraordinary honor …"
Unfortunately that's true… I wonder how many more people voted for Obama because he IS black than voted against for the same reason. I have heard many people say things to the effect of "We want to be a part of history"… Never mind that if McCain won we would have had our first female VP… or if everyone had just ballsed up (me included) and voted for the other guy we would have had the first 3rd party President (as it seems to me that all the Presidents were of one of the major parties at the time they were elected).
Obama on Letterman? It was just a continuation of his media blitz of the past week; nothing more than a
Celeb-u-tard fornication-fest. Obama has been on camera so much, the American public has grown tired of him. It is the same as using the word RACIST, it no longer carries the punch it once did; it no longer carries the cachet it did, it has become passe'. Obama burned US out with his presence. It is no different than the other Great Leader, the Magnificent and Omnipresent Omnipotent Kim Jong ILL…….
Does Letterman still have teeth? He's looking more and more like a denture wearer these days. Didn't watch the clip, but the pic is just priceless.
The Indiana *Weatherman* talks to the ~friend~ of the Terrorist Weathermen, cool.
What a couple of tools.
Others have noted Carter's steaming rage that Obama is so fast displacing him as the Worst President Ever!
And on with the show, "As the Stomach Turns."
Not an original title, but appropriate. Obama seems to be in his element when he has a fawning crowd and can play the role of Comedian in Chief instead of Commander in Chief (think Afghanistan and all the military commanders he has left hanging in the wind).
Character revelation… Obama shuns real responsibilities so he can play in the sandbox with Dave.
Most Americans hoped that a Barack Obama presidency would change many problems in this nation. The simple fact that he was elected showed that racism was declining.
We wanted a strong economy and were willing to help those who needed health care among other concerns. Unfortunately, Obama saw this as an opportunity for him and a puppet Congress to increase taxes on us and gain government control over our financial institutions, our businesses, our health care and move America toward Socialism.
Then, his own racism showed when, without all the facts, he claimed the Cambridge Police Department had acted stupidly by arresting his pal, Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. Now Jimmy Carter, Nancy Pelosi and the liberal media are pouring fuel on the racism fire.
Through all of this Barack Obama continues to mis-represent the facts. To publicly "wee-wee" on Americans and tell them it's raining is stupid. Sure, you can fool all of us some of the time and you can fool some of us all of the time but you will inevitably be exposed.
GOOD JOB OBAMA…

Talk about condescending. Actually black before the election? Why then is it that we are constantly reminded reminded that his mother was "white"? What the hell does the color of his skin have to do with it? I didn't like Sadam Hussein's policies either but does it make me a racist because he is a different race than me? What about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Should I remain silent about his hateful rhetoric about the U.S. simply because he is of another race? Those people who are constantly playing the race card are obviously not playing with a full deck in my opinion.
Just once I'd like to hear a Obama (D) react as strongly to the racist and ignorant blathering coming from his own Party, which he is the head of – I might add, with the same forcefulness and directness he directed at the millions of Americans who peaceably assembled in Washington DC, and throughout the nation, on Sept. 12. The comment quoted here is nothing but the President attempting to create space between himself and the foolish ex-peanut farmer from Georgia without actually distancing himself from the sentiment expressed.
When you allow yourself to be managed and elected by publicists who think the world is but a backdrop for a photo opp, that's how you'll do your presidency. He is really quite stupid, isn't he? Too bad he's in charge of what's left of the free world. Problem, that.
I thought his response was great, but I did find his last comments in this clip interesting. Interesting how "people of sick of the screaming and yelling" and soon as it is a different group of people, in this case, conservatives yelling at the current group in power (as opposed to anti-war and often seemingly anti-bush screaming protesters). It's always okay to protest the 'right' but heaven forbid that protesting can be 'healthy' when it is protesting against the policies of the 'left'.
Top ten idiotic things that must be George Bush’s fault!
These are real knee slappers, Dave!
10) Passes a 787 billion dollar stimulus bill that doesn’t stimulate
9) After porkulus passage, promises unemployment not to rise above 8% – Currently 9.7% (cue laugh track)
Pushes job killing cap and tax bill through house
7) Ignores Iranian freedom movement at critical time (Oh Dave, stop it you’re killing me)
6) Supports Honduran thug Manuel Zelaya
5) Sets race relations back decades with Gates – Crowley fiasco (audience obeys laugh sign)
4) Thumbs his nose at Eastern European allies with missile defense abandonment
3) Views ACORN corruption as unimportant Bonus gag Has White House working in concert with the NEA to push agenda
2) Obsesses on health care boondoggle with nary a clue on cost containment or reasonable free market solutions (jocularity … jocularity)
1) Seven months after declaring the importance of the war in Afghanistan, leaves his own general and our brave fighting men and women out on a lurch, with no strategic vision, pandering only to his left wing base
Not George Bush’s fault? Surely you jest!
“I can’t tell you how satisfying it is to watch you work”
I was wrong Dave, you really are a very funny guy!
I'm far less bothered by this than by a lot of other things he's said. While I'm not sure he's being sincere uttering those words, I agree with the words themselves, and appreciate the fact that he said them. I'm still more bothered by the fact that the leader of the free world is busying himself with late-night talk shows at all.
This all works out so well for Obama. He lets his buddies do the dirty work (accusing people of 'racism') and then gets to look magnanimous by saying "Oh, I don't THINK it's racism …" or "It's not ALL racism …"
He was one of the people who helped bring "the national conversation" to this level. He is a racialist, always has been, always will be. So I don't find his little asides trustworthy in the slightest.
Lead, I agree with you that race IS irrelevant, but just to be fair, Obama in this particular instance was arguing the conservative point of view. He was condemning the idea that Obamacare was being rejected on the basis of his being black, and not on the policy itself. He indicated the entire race-based theory was ludicrous, and I happen to agree.
I just hope Jimmy Carter was watching.
he's a small man, in more ways than one
I didn't hear any rape "jokes" about the girls; Lettergirl is such a candy*ss.
two America haters on tv, preaching to the choir of radicals
Yeah am I missing something or did Barry just sort of toss Carter under the bus?
Pure propaganda, Letterman/Obama style.
But hey, it's what these people do. We can't really be surprised, can we? Remember: “SPRECHEN SIE PROPAGANDA? WHY THE LEFT LOVES LIES” at http://firebreathingchristian.wordpress.com/2009/...
If we are vigilant, truth will overcome the propaganda.
It is now about 8 months since Obama became the President of the United States. As all of you here note, he implemented many policies that have scared people. The main argument against Obama's performance is that he is weakening America economically, socially, militarily.
While most of the arguments seem to have been constructed quite soundly to me, I would like to propose that you back them up with practical examples: What exactly has happened in America during the last 8 months that weakened YOU specifically and our COUNTRY in general? To be clear, I am talking about today, Sept. 22 2009.
I don't want any of you to predict the future- or, to be precise, a possible future- because frankly, if you know the future, why don't you play the lottery?
I betcha his ex-wives don't!
He didn't tell "rape" jokes the first time, you drooling mouth-breathing hick, for the millionth time he said "knocked up"!
I makes me physically ill to see this man, much less listen to him. I could not believe that in the midst of the healthcare issue, the ACORN scandal, the NEA debacle, the Sept. 12 protests (which were all but ignored) and all the rest going on in our country today, that today's front page of the Chicago Sun Times had a huge photo of Obama and Letterman.
This country nearly ripping at the seems and all this fool we have sitting in the White House can do is get on televsion to schmooze with celebrities?
How long are we as Americans going to put up with this insanity?

I think you're on to something there! Keep up the campaigning there Barry!
And by "waste" he means old people, sick people, unborn babies and conservatives.
LOL you people are hilarious!! never stop posting, we love it!!
So I guess you'd love me to disconnect your car brakes. After all, you aren't driving your car right now.

Are you 100% sure then that what Obama has been setting up is going to lead to a disaster in America? Is there not even the slightest doubt in your mind that somehow, even if it's unlikely, we might be OK after all?
i am amazed, and positively so, at all the comments here! looks like america's getting it's brain back.
ps, dear leader reference=priceless

We will be okay because of likes of most people who actually make the country work in spite of what goes on in Washington DC. We've suffered awful policy for years now, and yet have shown remarkable resilience.
The collective hard work and know-how of 'ordinary' Americans have trumped decades of big-goverment inspired ass-hattery from Washington and I hope should continue to do so.
