A bit of backstory.
Before the election, My Pet Jawa found that very-professional style supposedly “grassroots” nasty hit job videos on Sarah Palin were being posted on YouTube.
He discovered that these were created by a Democrat-connected California PR agency named Winner & Associates.
The suspicion was that the ads had been created, covertly, with Axelrod’s connivance, to create a fake “grassroots viral video” that couldn’t be traced to Obama.
But it couldn’t be proven. In the end it was smoke but no fire. A lot of smoke, and yet no smoking gun.
Ethan Winner confessed to making the video, but claimed he hadn’t had contact with David Axelrod for ten years, it was all just something he felt like spending thousands of dollars on himself. As a goof. …
What was a rep for Winner & Associates doing on that conference call?
You know, the one where White House official Buffy Wicks thanked everyone for helping them win the campaign?
I don’t know about this yet — I really do not know if I can say this significantly advances the case. Need to mull it.

This is so rediculous. Any they are sending out a "memo" with training. They admitted on the conference call that they were crossing lines they shouldn't be during the Q&A period. I can't wait till my next vote.
More will eventually come out. The only question is will we learn it before the history books have been re-written yet again.

I did read the whole thing. Thank you. Interesting explanation they give. Public Liaison renamed Public Engagement so they "open the door". Except that the White House communication portals only ask for your support. Things like: "If you have a story about how the health care system has failed you, share it with us." Once there was required drop down menu for the subject of an e-mail, not a single option for any type of dissent. The door may be open, but those who enter are carefully screened.
In theory, this should be a political bombshell. In reality, much of the left media will minimize as much as possible. I think the template Andrew Breitbart talked about in which the m.s.m. ends up being virtually forced to cover the story is the way to go. Not only is this administration one of the most corrupt and least transparent ever, they are finally getting caught with their pants down. If these things don't cost them big in 2010, it's time to volunteer for the death panel. My kudo's to all who have been involved.
Oh boy, if Palin gets implicated into this scandal it's game over for the Whitehouse…
Doesn't that sound exactly like flag@ whitehouse.gov that was recently shut down, and the emails supposedly eliminated (read outsourced to China where a bunch of 10-yr-old Chinese kids are busily organizing and cataloging them according to ID's)?
flag was what got me to go there in the first place. I was going to send clips of the President's speeches, because they all sounded "fishy" to me.

Wow. Where is the justice dept.? Where is congress? It's amazing that Obama outspent and skated on lawlessness and only barely won the election. If we are going to have fair elections we are going to have to be diligent during the election process.

Winner & Associates has the smokescreen of 'plausible deniability'. (Otherwise known as lying your ass off.)
But they shouldn't be smug about there only being smoke. As any fireman can tell you, the flames don't have to touch you in order for you to still die.

Whwn I think of anyone wanting to run for a public office – and what the courts have allowed in regard basically all the mud, slime, et. al people can throw at you – true or not – its a wonder anyone of any character runs.
