It got pulled before I could see it. Typical, funny how Youtubes that generate enterest on conservtive blogs always get pulled our challenged as copyright violations.. yet liberal or extreme ones live forever.

I can only suspect that ACORN is now safe turf for the pop culture to go after. they would have gone after a sting of a conservative group in 30 seconds, this one only took a week. Massive ratings on FOX, House and Senate defunding, and a statement of condemntion by Obama..

well, guess that's why then, he's signaled it's ok for them to do it without being sanctioned by the extreme left.

Seems to me Jay's been pandering for a long time. Way back when Letterman was on NBC and he had Jay on all the time Jay was pretty edgey. You never knew what he was going to say. Then he got his own show and it was like he'd been neutered. Just another comic reading jokes off of cue cards. I watched a few shows and gave up.

Me too, me too. All of a sudden I will watch him every night, until he says something I don't like anyway.

"Cash for Flunkers" also was pretty good, even if it wasn't as direct a shot as this was.

The thing is for the better part of 52 years, since Jack Parr took over The Tonight Show, the idea has been that in the monologue you make fun of the news stories of the day, which means when Republicans control things, they're naturally going to be the brunt of the jokes, and when the Democrats run things, they get the barbs thrown at them. Obama's campaign, mixed in with the entertainment industry's long-standing BDS problems have turned that on their head because of both their general love of Barack and fears of having the race card thrown against them if they do make fun of Obama.

ACORN at least gives Leno (and Stewart) a chance to be funny about something topical while at the same time not really going after Obama. It's a start, and at least better than what's going on at CBS after 11:35 p.m. Eastern, where anything that might even tangentially harm the president is off-limits as a source of comedy.
