My reasoning for this is because while the existence of nuclear weapons in Israels' arsenal has never been confirmed or proven the rumors of its existence happened after they had made South Africa an ally and not before. South Africa has the required space to be able to conduct these tests with security.
I am also just plain sick and tired of people blaming Israel for all the probelms in the middle east and the USA and whatever. Maybe they do go a little too far from time to time. I give them a pass most of the time because while they might be a little paranoid they have good reason. Has any other people in our times been so close to ceasing to exist? They have been demonized for thousands of years. Give it up already.

Here´s a question. There is a scene at the end of Platoon, after the battle, when an American APC appears between the trees. You get only a short glimpse, but it is flying a Nazi flag. This has been little commented on. This is supposed to be an authentic movie. Is there even the slightest chance that there would have been a unit in Vietnam flying that flag, even just for fun? Or does it say about Stone what I guess it says?

I wasn't going to post on this thread because commenting on the likes of Oliver Stone and Hugo Chavez is a complete waste of time for me. I have no use for either of them. Somehow this thread has been hijacked and the anti-semite types are at it again. There are reasons that Israel was an ally with South Africa if anyone would care to think a little. At the time it was really an arms trading deal. Israel was buying ordanace from whoever they could and South Africa also had something that they could not do on thier own soil. I believe, although I admit I have no direct evidence, that they used South Africa to test thier Nuclear Weapons. They do not have the ability to test such a weapon on thier own soil, not enough room. They also did not want any of thier neighbors to know what they were doing.

Hugo Chavez is absolutely right that Israel is committing genocide on the Palestinians in the open. Israel can do this without consequences because of the unconditional support it receives from the US, as financial aid, sophisticated weapons, and veto protection in UN. Israel could not exist without US aid and protection. Adverse action would be taken against Israel for its land stealing, ethnic cleansing, genocide, and terrorism of the Palestinian people, if not vetoed by the US. Therefore, the US is as guilty as Israel for Israel's atrocities and warcrimes against the Palestinian and Arab people, and should be charged accordingly.
Israel is an existential threat to the Middle East and world because it respects no people or law, other than its own.
