Madonna - love her or hate her. Some think she has no talent, while others have named their daughters after her. Some think her career is pure marketing and her fans believe she’s a real trend setter. There has always been a wide range of opinions about this woman, an...

To think, there was a time when Hollywood/Burbank had a clue.
OMG! You rock, Jack Webb! This is brilliant.
Completely, utterly awesome.
Tremendous! Bet Obama didn't get schooled like that at Harvard.
THAT ROCKED!
Does anyone else think Barack looks a little like Jack Webb? Here's an example: http://www.radioarchives.org/pictures/Dragnet.jpg
Perfect!!
Poignant.
Wow.
I miss Jack Webb. No one else could deliver that. Heston, Brynner, Wayne could come close, so could Eastwood, Bronson a bit, McQueen if he didn't smile, Coburn on a good day might get it…
Contemporary? Willis maybe, Sam Jackson would get it, but "street" it, most everyone else is way too metrosexual…
R. Lee Ermey would understand it, but be WAY too pissed to be subtle enough…
That is priceless!
Hussein is soooo supremely arrogant he would get up and walk out on Friday and Gannon…
That's the first video I've seen of Obama with his mouth closed! Was some digital magic involved?
In the original he lecturing a rich spoiled punk…just like Obama!
This is really great. Shame no one ever really taught him these lessons.
Badge 714 Jack Webb and Harry Morgan Wow. That's the America I grew up in. It seems like a hundred years ago. Obama doesn't have a clue but I do and so do tens of millions like me. We will not Roll-Over. Now or Ever.
Holy crap — that was AWESOME!
Dan Aykroyd did it in the movie but for laughs.
What is Colonel Potter doing with Jack Webb!?!?!
Okay, that was good.
Ya kinda , sorta.
I remeber that episode, oh well my age is showing. Jack Webb was an unapologetic Patriot. He was dismayed by the so called Peace Movements of the sixties. Today Jack Webb would not get the time of day in Hollywood even though he invented the whole Police Procedural show to begin with. I loved his dry delivery. I remember when I joined the Navy in 1973 in boot camp we had to watch a film narrated by Jack Webb on how to behave if captured.
Think about a time when kids could see something like that on TV. Whatever else was out there, there was still that. Today, they have nothing like that. Nothing. They grow up and throughout their entire TV-watching experience never hear a single thought or expression of appreciation for their country.
fantastic…does anyone remember the episode when lsd was "on the streets" ?
Whoa! "Big Hollywood", "Big Government" and now Jack Webb posts? Somebody likes them some Dragnet.
NTTAWWT.
Ronald Reagan could do it, too. Oh wait! . . . he did.
Outstanding! Nobody could lecture you like Joe Friday and Bill Gannon. Yeah, the delivery was deadpan, maybe even stilted, the cuts between Joe and Bill exchanging knowing nods were hokey, but the show was almost hypnotic to this 18 year old in the early 70's. It was what made want to become a cop, all those decades ago.
Kudos to whoever put this together. It is so on-point. ALLAMERICAN hit the nail on the head. The America I grew up in, too.
Oh, anybody remember the Dragnet skit on Carson's tonight show with Jack Webb? He had a sense of humor about himself. Hilarious!
My comment was in the medium of film, and Ron did do some memorable monologues…
But you could bet your freedoms he felt and lived that, and extemporaneously espoused it from the very nature of his soul…
Warner Bros. is selling "the D.I." through their online store.
Recommended watching for everyone.
Oh man, I used to love this show when I was a kid. I think this show did as much/more to teach me how bad drugs are than DARE did.
[...] Watch it. [...]
Jack Webb does a monologue admonishing a dirty, stinking hippie over 40 years ago and every word is still applicable today. It seems these "progressives" haven't progressed much over the decades.
The Copper Clapper Caper. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4RIBhQIkII
Good one Hitler. How does it sound in the original German?
Boy, howdy. Can I get an AMEN! These people think they are doing just as Webb and Co. were saying – inventing something new, doing something different, etc. Every generation thinks it's got the world by the cajones, but it's just SSDD. The old tried and true ideas still work no matter what. It's fear and a desire for power that makes people think otherwise.
If Jack Webb had been at the intersection of Florence and Normandy back in 1992, that whole Rodney King jury verdict riot would have been shut down in about five minutes.
Robinson, Edward G. : "You're finished, washed up, all through…."
Vic Morrow -as Sgt Saunders "Now, you listen and you listen good, soldier."
Jack Bauer – "Right here, right now, you are going to sit here, Mr. President, and you are going to face justice!"
Amen to Jack Webb.
Book'em Dano.
That was an era when many TV shows had a moral to the story. It taught youngsters right from wrong and the consquences for their actions.Today the less there is of morals the better, what is up is down! The Bill Clinton era pretty much got that going. What a shame.
AMEN!
Can someone explain this troll comment to me?
There are three people in the video. Which one does he think is Hitler?

In addition, did the "6 million people" comment completely go over the head of this troll?

Wow. It never occurred to me. I've just done a comparison at http://bulletpeople.com. Thanks. Very interesting observation.
Bad link: http://bulletpeople.com is the correct link.
This is so great! Pay attention Pres. Opompous!
I agree with your choices…even Aykroyd, who channeled Webb amazingly for his "Dragnet" movie.
I'm a bit embarrassed to have left out Bauer…
Me, too.
AMEN too!
The whole thing confused him, so he went into the fallback reflex setting…call it racist and disparage everyone interested…

And all with a snub-nosed .38.
Remember the episode where they investigated his shooting of a perp, and had him standing at the end of the episode as the narrator read the verdict?
VERY CLEAR MESSAGE: NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
I liked Hawa'ii Five-Oh too.
For a second I thought this was about Senator Jim Webb. Yeah, that´s likely. Not.
Thanks!
And lemme add Bill Holden and Paul Douglas, too.
And all the rational jurors in TWELVE ANGRY MEN. They had their Ed Begley, Sr. We have our Obama.
Way to post a comment, Hitler! Type it in German next time!
Jack Webb. Apologist for the "establishment". Still as out of touch and in the minority as he was 40 years ago.
After the breakup of his first marriage, Jack Webb married a man. He was also an opponent of guns, and seldom used them in any of his TV productions.
