Mark Steyn was subbing for Rush yesterday, and the first caller said he was on the scene there, he said he's the one who found the finger and rushed it to the hospital for reattachment. No way to verify, but he sounded honest.

There were two groups of protesters on opposite sides of the street. One of the Obama thugs crossed the street, got right into the older gentleman's face, yelling at him. Nice to see he picked on some one as able as himself. Liberals are nice like that.

He said the next part happened pretty quick, he didn't see who threw the first punch, then the Obama thug grabbed the old man and yanked him off the curb, into the street, then all hell broke lose, and it was over almost before it started.

Normally I stop debating when comparisons to Hitler and the nazis come up. (I never capitalize the first letter of mass murderers.) But Rush had a semi-valid point last week or the week before.

The nazis didn't come to power campaigning on the Holocaust, the destruction of Europe and world wide war. That's where they ended up. He was commenting on how the nazis started out, as the national socialist party, campaigning on disassembling free markets and capitalism, and the state taking care of every German's needs.

It doesn't just work for guys, either. Older men are hot.

I remember when I was in third grade, we thought it was against the law to draw a swastika. So naturally we did when ever we thought no one was looking.

I do remember back in the mid to late 1960's when I was young. The War was a lot more fresh in people's minds. Of course, back then the VFW's and American Legions were some of the central community organizations. Hollywood was still cranking out American hero movies and TV shows. Hogan's Heroes, Rat Patrol.
