not gonna play.. nope nope.. ya cant make me!
now we are two
I'm sure he expects to make a couple million bucks off of his "crockumentary" bashing people who make a couple million bucks.
Then, I 'm sure he'll celebrate by eating a couple dozen Big Mac's and large fries.
Eh….he's trying to remain relevant.
I wonder….did he donate all his money from the film to a worthwhile cause? Because if he didn't, he exudes a rather blatant hipocrisy. Not that he never has before….
I do notice the members of Congress in the trailer just happen to be democrats….
What??? C'mon….hit that "play" button…I dare ya!!
Noam Chomsky has made a fortune selling books about the evils of capitalism. Why can't Michael Moore do the same?
It must be pretty convenient to rage against the machine and profit off of it at the same time. Now where did I put my Che t-shirt at?
Everytime I hear his name I think of Team America, with a bomb strapped to him and a hot dog in each hand.
There was a headline yesterday about Moore bashing the democrats for being weak. I don't think you could ever be far enough left to make this guy happy.
You know the thing that gets me, it looks like the "documentry" will blame capitalism, but in reality the problem is socialism and/or corporatism. The paying for political influence isn't a capitalist concept. In fact, capitalism has done more to elevate the living standards of people than anything else. And I include a republican system of government. It just so happens republicanism (small r) and capitalism are congruent systems of governance and economics. But some people that don't think beyond a superficial catch phrase, will drool and say them "evil capitalist" when in reality, the problems have been caused by socialism and corporatism, and more people will demand greater government influence. If they were to look a little deeper, they would realize our problems, falling real estate prices, raising medical care and medical insurance, loss of investments, are the markets reacting to government intervention.
But there is reason some rich people like government intervention and vote Democrat.
Did not play video and will not watch anything that this FAT windbag does!
Capitalism with all its flaws, remains the best form of economic structure the world has ever seen.
I'd rather watch paint dry than watch a Michael Moore movie.
Never mind that capitalism has been around since the begining of civilization regardless of what form it takes. Moore is the same scum bag that charges colleges to give speeches about how it is a terrible world for new graduates to try and survive in while cashing the checks and living in mansions.
No freakin way that fat doucherocket gets to waste even a second of my time,,,,,
Michael "I'm so fat my middle name is DAAAYUUUUMMMMM" Moore is a fraud and a liar and anyone that thinks his next pile of cinematic excrement has an ounce of truth in it should be on meds.
His movies have all been proven to be full of falsehoods and half-truths but some people STILL think he makes documentaries…..pathetic…..
Funny thing is Michael Moore is wealthier than most Americans by using capitalism and the MERIT system.
I bet he is in the top tax bracket. Yet he still dresses down in an effort to "look" the part of an average Joe.
Michael Moore ought to be standing there in a Brooks Bros suit holding the keys to a Ferrari.
can I wear the Batman suit?
oh I play, just not with Moore… ewwww
unless we get to hit golf balls at him.. that could be fun…
indeed.. some good things come from up here in Michigan… Unfortunately, we get a few skunks that escape from here now and then as well.
Michael Moore has the relevancy of air brakes on a turtle.
Can they be exploding golf balls??
And he stands there making fun of the appearance of a guy coming toward him. The whole hypocritical silliness of Moore encapsulated in one clip.
I'm so sad I can't watch the trailer on my work computer, which I am using right now. I need good laugh/aneurysm today.
Zero! No way, no how am I going to subject myself to a moment of that slob.
"Despite a voluminous and often fervent literature on 'income distribution,' the cold fact is that most income is not distributed: It is earned.”
Distribution is a statistical term, and doesn't mean that whatever you're measuring has been handed out by some central authority. But it sounds like it does, and as such plays into socialists' hands. If wealth has been "distributed" by capitalism or nature or whatever, it can be distributed by government, too. And why should we be resigned to follow things as they are, when we could reorganize for the better? Why should we prefer what happens by accident if we can shape the world according to our wishes?
Fuel for F.A. Hayek's "fatal conceit" of socialism, namely that society is, or can be, the product of reason.
DAAAYUUUUMMMMMMM………..lmao! Yes, he is that fat, and greasy too!. If you look closely, you can see all the food bits stuck in his jowels. Looks like about three weeks' worth.
BARF…. ACK….GAG…..
My diet is safe….
I don't know….he likes Fidel a lot
True…Moore's the pity….
mmm like things that go BOOM!
LOL! The new Jenny Craig Plan.
moore or less…
It's very Christian-like to call people fat.
Receding hairline isn't making fun (unlike saying Fat Slob) – but I don't like the way receding hairline is used in the form of a punchline, however. There are good and bad fat people and good and bad bald people.
Well said.
They AIG committed treason and the crime of the Century against the American people and you defending them,,,HATERS!
Ah, but less is MOORE!!!
Now that Moore's made his mock-umentary about the system that made him a wealthy filmmaker perhaps Sean Penn, Oliver Stone & Steven Spielberg can put together a sequel attacking the film industry's habit of paying millions to above the line talent.
beware the ravenous beast that prowls under a full moon over the moores
What he is doing trying to get our money back from the bailout banks is nothing that should offend conservatives. There's a lot of common ground in this trailer BUT, it's just that Moore isn't the guy to talk about it. He's dishonest and clearly socialist. Will he realize that the positions he usually champions are the ones that lead to the kind of government intervention he's mocking here.
Anyone who ever does a Michael Moore interview should be sure to have his own camera crew nearby to keep a copy of the footage for yourself, so that you can show later how you were clipped, edited, and taken out of context.
Even then, it doesn't work with his ambush tactics, most of which are just plain stupid.
never end with a prepositional phrase
Never forget to capitalize and end with a period. Throwing stones in a glass house, Mr. President?
Good old Mickey, at it again. Instead of focusing on law enforcement and regulators who failed to do their jobs, he attacks the economic system that has created a higher standard of living, for more people, than any other in the history of mankind. He's the same kind of shallow liberal artist that helped put the Bolsheviks in power, so they could murder tens of millions of people, and force hundreds of millions of others to live in slavery. What a guy! I hope, if he contracts some serious disease, that no American doctor will treat him, nor any "capitalist" drug company provide him with medicine. Let him to to Cuba for medical care, but remind him to take his own toilet paper, because they can't afford to squeeze the Charmin and free medical care.
Now I know how this Bum got to be such a Porker. He doesn't only Bite the hand that feeds him. He Eats it. Over and over again.
The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.
Winston Churchill
“Contrary to the vulgar belief that men are motivated primarily by materialistic considerations, we now see the capitalist system being discredited and destroyed all over the world, even though this system has given men the greatest material comforts”

“Despite a voluminous and often fervent literature on "income distribution," the cold fact is that most income is not distributed: It is earned.”

[...] Moore’s new movie, “Capitalism: A Love Story,” is scheduled to open October 2nd. You can watch the movie Trailer [...]
Whenever I see Michael Moore…all I can think of is "An American Carol"…to watch "him" get slapped by Bill O'Reilly and parodied (plus a lot of cameos by Republicans) go here to watch the trailer. <a href=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnHllNDcv4A” target=”_blank”>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnHllNDcv4A
The movie wasn't in my taste but it had some HILARIOUS moments! (The Terrorists were my favorite.)
Big fat white guy telling us not to trust big fat white guys.
Coming from you, we'll take that as a compliment
This from the guy who hates capitalism, but loves to rake in millions due to it. He tells us that public schools are great, but his kids go to private. He wants us to live within our means yet he lives in a multimillion dollar apartment in Manhattan. Typical liberal. Do as I say, not as I do.
Crime of the century? How come everything is to the extreme with you liberal girls. And by liberal girls I mean girls and guys (because of their lower testosterone levels).
Never had a problem with it.
Just saying if anyone tries to correct someone on their grammar over the internet, they should at least check their own post first so they do not look like a moron.
Well, it is only 2009.

Heh, my apologies.
I don't have a problem with capitalism, but I do have a problem with AIG/Goldman Sachs and the like lining their pockets with MY tax dollars. The fact that Wall St. continues to place it's best and brightest in the highest offices of BOTH parties is evidence that money doesn't know partisanship. They continue to protect their interests regardless of who holds the White House. I don't like Michael Moore but if he can shed some more light on these people and their endless greed/profiteering then I'm all for it. These big investment houses are the primary reason our economy is effed right now, and the damage was done over a period when both parties occupied the White House, starting with Clinton and going through Bush into Obama presently. If you think this is strictly a partisan issue, then you're sadly mistaken. Hopefully Moore won't come at it from a hard left perspective(wishful thinking perhaps) and turn it into a right-bashing affair.
