Rosie O’Donnell Calls Elisabeth Hasselbeck a ‘Tw*t’

Fox411 reported today that Rosie O’Donnell called the lone-”View” Republican “a word that rhymes with ’swat’” during a routine on her “Girls’ Night Out Tour.” From the article:
“Rosie started out by asking the audience, ‘What was that show I was on?’” an audience member tells FOX411. “Then, instead of saying, ‘The View,’ she called it ‘The Screw You.’ She continued by calling Elisabeth Hasselbeck, ‘Elizabeth Half-a-brain.’ Then she jumped to another topic.”
But Rosie wasn’t done. Not even close.
The audience member says she went back to her “The View” experience. “Rosie said when she first met Elisabeth, she thought she would love her, because they’re both Christians,” the eyewitness says. “Then she stopped and said, ‘But then she turned on me.’ Then Rosie called her a ‘t–t.’ O’Donnell then moved on to a different subject, saying she really didn’t want to start a new feud, or restart an old one.”

Just when you thought it was safe…news arrives that the maw of the dyke has opened again. Strange that (not) Rosie would call the lovely E.H, such a vulgar name, considering I vaguely remember O'Donnell bitching about people referring to her as a "fat, loudmouth, liberal lesbian."
For what it's worth, I think it's an accurate description, except that I'd also include immature; calling another person such a crude name makes me think the children she adopted are far more intellent, and probably mature, than her.

I sent several comments to Barbara Walters pushing for her to balance "The View" with a strong conservative like Michelle Malkin. Could you imagine the sheer amount of fun that a daily Malkin vs. O'Donnel would be? I know it isn't preceisely fair to Rosie, but who really cares about someone who insists that fire can't melt steel despite being proven wrong?

I'm sorry, it's a crude, nasty thing for O'Donnell to call someone, but Elizabeth Hasselbeck is hardly a keen political commentator. She's a barely coherent, whining little ninny who stays on the show God knows why. The level of discourse & research on that show is phenomenally bad, and that's across the board. The show could do much better all the way around.

It doesn't matter now, everyone knows what kind of person Rosie O'Donnell is. But I have always believed that she wanted out of The View before her contract was up, so she deliberately created a fight with Hasselbeck so that ABC would let her out of her contract. Rosie uses people to get her way. She is manipulative and devious, and any network that gets involved with her deserved the fall out. Of course, Rosie can't hold a candle to Barbara Walters.
I could see a reality T.V. show. But Playboy? That's… not appealing.

Got you. Sometimes sarcasm is hard to "read"; a lot of it is communicated by tone of voice. It's actually the first time I've seen Rosie self-identified as a "christian"; I don't know what that means to her, but public vulgarity and name-calling isn't much of a testimony.
I find it odd that she self identified as a Christian. She was raised Catholic, but has called Jesus a philosopher, was into Kabbalah, and has even said that she always felt like a Jew….whatever that means. She's gone from someone I enjoyed (pre Tom Selleck tirade and when she focused on kids charities) to someone that enraged me (9/11 truth nonsense) to someone I pity. She could have twice as much bank and I'll still never want to trade places with her and be stuck living life that bitterly and misinformed.

I think Rosie's brand of Christianity means she is against war and killing people. To her, conservatives are not REAL people, but demonic forces bent on controlling other "enlightened" people. So it is OK to call them vulgar names and talk about physically harming them.
