<i>If this is a problem with you there are a host of countries where you can relocate. </i>

Heh, hardly. But I would rather reserve the ribbons for the troops and show patriotism with The Flag, two separate yet related messages displayed simultaneously and distinct. I do not see a need to covertly hide my patriotism with something that not enough recognize as for the troops and may dismiss as "Support the troops but not the mission."

Now, if there was a symbol I could display that would show my patriotism without showing support for, and even opposition to, the Occupant in Chief, although preferably one that does not invite rock throwing, I would be interested in knowing about it.

Me, too!
Unlike stage version of the weird story, the movie is entertaining and campy fun!

I had to drive 20 odd miles to the one theater in the Tampa area which was showing it.
The theater was half full, the movie itself was good the time went quickly. It's in Iranian mostly with sub titles but the plot simple enough so the sub titles weren't a problem.
The story wasn't a very happy one, the ending quite graphic.
I would not expect a Disney version anytime soon. Well worth the price though out of the ordinary.

Mmmm, not quite the way I had it envisioned. I'm thinking more along the lines of my mom's hometown which is a little bump on the map. The place was nearly wiped out by a tornado and Extreme Home Makeover did an episode there as a result - Chapman, KS. There are plenty of stories and funny things that happen in a small farming community that don't involve the usual stereotypes and some that do that can do alongside Miss Lib.

For you Goldman Sachs haters - of which I am truly one - check out this awesome article by Rolling Stone financial editor, Matt Taibbi. Taibbi's opinion of GS? <i>"The world's most powerful investment bank is a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money."</i> (Man, I wish I could have written that line!)

I have a tragic confession. I have sneered at "Mama Mia" in all its forms, what with the skeevy premise (which dude knocked up my mom, ABBA, etc.) and DRAT! I watched the movie on HBO this weekend and found it charming and hilarious, and I give Meryl Streep amazing props for pulling off the singing and dancing so whole heartedly. Curses, she just sold me a ticket for "Julie & Julia."
