Dining out with a friend at celebrity eaterie Mr Chow in Hollywood, the former fitness queen wore a T-shirt bearing her infamous police mugshot.

It's too bad she's not brave enough to wear the Jane Fonda urinal target, that occupies a prominent spot in our local VFW.
Give her a break. Her acting career is over. Her looks are gone. All she has left is her poodle, and some fond memories of what a rebel she was back in the 60's, when she had the raw courage to speak out against the Vietnam War when just about everyone else was doing the exact same thing.

Years ago I saw a "20/20" special with JF and a handful of Vietnam vets. Obviously, these guys were handpicked by the producers. All of them had a good cry fest and told her that all was forgiven. She said she could now move on. You can imagine what my dad (a Vietnam vet not so bent on forgiving her) yelled at the t.v. You would think that someone might grow more humble or reflective as they grew older.

She traveled to North Vietnam, congratulated Northern Vietnamese artillery crews on their marksmanship against U.S. forces and then went to visit some of our POW's in the Hanoi Hilton, where she actually ratted out an American POW trying to communicate with her covertly. She is an traitorous snake, and an unrepentant one. Can you imagine anything lower or more repugnant? I can barely look at her.

The only time I ever heard my high school history teacher, an old Army intel guy who was over there when Fonda did the akak gun visit, cuss in class (beyond 'damnit' anyway) was when we'd watch a video where Hanoi Jane popped up. I sat in the back of the class, which is where he'd be when we watched videos. He'd swear up a storm under his breath. I think only myself and 2 other students in the class ever hear it.
Our joke became "Hand-grenade Hank's Jane Fonda Fanclub" because of it.

While it is considered Christian to forgive, there is often the implied component that the offender has first shown some regret. I do not recall reading Jesus ever forgiving the unrepentant, and it seems proper to remind an offender of transgressions in the hope they will ask for forgiveness and be saved. In Hanoi Jane's case, it sure looks like she will be properly hounded to the grave, at which point the offended can "let it go" as she will finally face judgment over her actions, albeit at a higher court than many would have preferred.

Too many drugs, too much escaping from reality and not dealing with it. Nowadays they may be too old for the drugs, except for brief remembrances with the mild stuff, but they still cannot deal with reality plus now they have to justify what they did way back then.
