I believe you confuse "once again shown" with "once again accused of but never proven" in your statements. It's the mistake one makes when letting your fantasies do your typing.

Except for the fact the joke doesn't make sense if its aimed specifically at Willow. And no one without an agenda would try to suggest that, other than to make it "worse" to justify all your phony "outrage"–whicc was tiresome at first, now just seems petty. Especially since he apologized. Twice.

You don't have to like Letterman, but you guys with your continual exaggeration of the joke actually make him look sympathetic, so I hope that's your goal.

And this is important how? Palin should have just blown it off, but instead her handlers let her shoot herself in the foot by making war on some talk show host. Now, CNN and MSNBC will have a couple of months of ammo to use against her, to trivialize her politically.
