what was Alice Ripley from "Next to Normal" acceptance speech about? Was she telling all actors to act and to leave their politic views at home???? I think i liked it

It doesn't matter what she was actually saying. You both are THINKING. You've obviously missed the memo. This is Obamaland. Everything's different now. You don't think. you FEEL. Alice was FEELING. She was very passionate about what she believed (whatever that was) and she used raw power and emotion to express her heart and state her point of view (whatever that was). She wanted CHANGE. She was appealing to HOPE. She was just telling us all to simply feel and BELIEVE. If you're confused, unsure, or disoriented…then you starting to get with the program. Because it doesn't matter. All that matters is that we have an African-American in the White House. An elegant man. Gonna bring us whirled peas.
Everything clear now?
