if it's one half as good as the 'Evil Dead' series (is Bruce Campbell's Ash anywhere to be found here?) it will be just fine…after the bloat of 'Spiderman' Raimi needs to return to his 'B' film roots…
So, you can give the curse away … who do you give it to? Would you actually be able to just pass off a curse that drags someone else to Hell to burn for all eternity? Oh, here dude, bad curse …
Hm… I don't know if I will watch this one… We shall see…
Here, hold this….
"Up" gets my box office bucks first, but I will get to this. "Army of Darkness" is a big favorite and it looks like Rami once again combines the horror with the humor.
I'd travel to Washington D.C.
Amy Lohman is a cutie!
Sell it on ebay
I laughed at this movie trailer; it's just not scary to me. There's no suspense & I am a little confused when she is cursed while the gates of Hell opened up in her home just because a fly went up her nose. Too many CGI effects.
PS:
I like the original "drag me to Hell" concept from Clive Barker's 1987's Hellraiser because someone opens a mysterious puzzle box, the Lament Configuration.
I want this to be good since I like Sam Raimi. It just seems like the more special effects a movie has, the less scary it is.
I like Raimi, but some of the stuff in the trailer looks kind of silly.
Now that's good old fashioned American problem solving at it's best! +1 for you!
I'm looking forward to this. As a cradle Catholic, Hell has always fascinated/frightened me, and I can't resist anything that explores the concept of damnation.
silly indeed. But will he have his Fake Shemps? That's important…
So it is. . . plus a chainsaw.
as Ash would say: "You people know two things- one is Jack and the other is s#*t… maybe we can get auntie to 'give us some sugar' because we are not getting any pie…
So let me get this straight…
This gypsy curses the girl because… she wont let her skip out on her mortgage payments … for the third time?
… corporate America bashing anyone?
It's a good thing she didn't run over the little old lady's cat.

One (1) "Send You to Hell" Curse. NO refunds.
Watch Evil Dead II and you'll get it.
May this film be a veritable Boom Stick into the long-rumored Evil Dead IV.
One has to wonder how many times a day this old woman curses people. "you won't help an old lady across the street! I curse you!" "I want the breakfast menu but its noon? I curse you!" "You voted Republican? I curse you!"
I can see Pelosi at the press conference now:
PRESS: So, did the banker brief you on the nature of this curse?
PELOSI: Umm, no. I think she said something about threatening me with Hell and lamias, but she never told me she was using them …
Besides, this movie behind the times. We all got cursed on November 4 and the dragging to hell began on January 20.
As long as the Classic is in it….
Needs more Bruce Campbell.
The girl's real pudy like but even in the short trailer I picked up the leftist tinge that seems to infuse so many Hollywood movies. She's competing for a job she has to have as a lender. A pathetic poor woman comes in desperately needing an extension on her loan. She approaches her boss about the difficult decision but he puts the ball in her court (obviously as a test to see if she has the "right stuff" to be a heartless capitalist). She decides she has to turn the woman down to show the boss that she's up to the task and wooosh! She's got critters crawling into her mouth and bloody demons in her bed.
I look forward to this like I look forward to all of Raimi's movies. Except for Spider-man 3, which was mediocre, I've enjoyed every one of his movies and I've seen all of them that are legally available. I wish I could track down his first couple of films (It's Murder! and Clockwork), but I have the feeling he doesn't want anyone to see them.
Anyone ever see Crimewave, which he did with the Coen brothers? It's a ridiculous comedy that seems to fall into the love-it-or-hate-it category with no room in between. I love it, but I'm kind of strange.
I should add that Raimi is one of the good guys. I don't know his politics, but he's definitely a patriot.
Love the music from the original Stargate movie at the end!!!
Y'all are kiddin'…right?
I'll keep my $8…. I think too many things in our culture trivialize and misrepresent the realities of heaven and hell.
Good… Bad…
I'm the guy with the gun.
BLAM!
And don't forget the sexism theme – she might be passed over for the new guy, who's a GUY. Capitalism is inherently patriarchal! There will never be equality until we embrace socialism! Curse the capitalists! CURSE THE CAPITALISTS!!!
