Nobody has enjoyed a late career renaissance like Johnny Cash. The series of collaborations he made with Slayer producer Rick Rubin reignited critical interest in his work at a time when Cash believed he was destined to become a touring nostalgia act. The first of these, American Recordings is a...

This sucks. A very very funny man.
Dom Deluise always made me laugh. He will be missed. R.I.P.
HIs laugh, his laugh, his laugh — you cannot hear it without bursting out laughing and giggling and wiping your eyes.
Oh, I am so going to miss him.
Dittos, here! Choked up right now.
From THE END: "That man's nuts, grab 'em!" Did any more of a Jolly Good Fellow ever live? Peace, Dom.
Loved Dom DeLuise. I was always happy to see him on TV. He'll be missed.
Mr. Deluise never failed to make you laugh. Every time we lose someone like him Hollywood becomes a lesser place. I fear that an era in Hollywood is coming to an end, We are loseing an entire generation of actors and comedians whose sole purpose in life was to entertain us and make us laugh, leaving us with only cut rate activist hacks and B-list celebutards.
When you watch the out takes from Cannonball Run you can't help but see these people where having genuine fun! No on set hissy fits or demands for only green m&m's.
Cannonball Run was not high art, but it was endlessly entertaining. Just a bunch of "Movie Stars" (something we lack today) having fun. They had fun, so we had fun. You can have your Matt Damon's and Sean Penn's, I'd rather keep Dom Deluise. Maybe he was not on there level as far as acting goes, but he sure the hell was far more entertaining!
Rest in Peace Mr. Deluise.
He always seemed to enjoy life. Thanks for the recipes, Dom.
Dom DeLuise's bloopers from any of his movies were funnier than the movie itself.
He was the man who started the whole blooper reel. He made not have been the first of course – but he made it work.
Remember the Ziplock commercials? Classic. And I loved him on the Cannonball Run movies.
I still can't believe he ate the "ONY!"
Dom DeLuise one of the truly good guys. He was able to make you laugh your face off or rip your heart out. I recommend the movie FATSO if you've never seen it. It's well worth your time . Sleep well my funny friend, sleep well and Grazie per le risate.
I recently watched Mel Brooks' The Twelve Chairs and I thought Mr. DeLuise was hilarious. "IIII wwwaaannnttt ttthhhoooosssee ccchhhaaaaiiiirrrsss!!!
God speed, friend.
I loved Dom DeLouise.
I didn't know anything about his personal life, and I have no idea what he was like off camera, but he sure as hell made me laugh.
He will be missed.
Rest in peace, Dom.
This is so sad, Dom was always one of my favorite actors.
Dom Deluise was great. His brand of comedy was truly unigue. I also recommend "Fatso". The scene where he listens to a never ending list of things he can't eat is hilarious. He did an excellent job in "Fail Safe". The intense delivery of his detailed desciption of why the "fail safe" system broke reminded you of both the frailty of man made machines and a sense that this breakdown (in the movie) cannot be corrected. He added to the aura of the film.
Thanks for all the joy…God bless Dom, may you forever rest in peace.
I loved Dom since I was a kid, when I saw him on various variety shows as the dubious magician "Dominick the Great", with his goofy assistant (Ruth Buzzi). And I recall coming across a cameo he did on "All My Children" as a cop in a South American village trying to convince the owner of a donkey to clear the street ("Lady, how many times do I have to tell you that you have to move your ass?"). Always a delight! He will be missed.
Thanks for this. I smile remembering his humor, and contagious laugh. His loss had so saddened me, now I remember exactly why I will miss him.
