In 1998, the Beastie Boys announced the arrival of a new album with the release of “Intergalactic,” which in my opinion, is their biggest and best single to date. It’s certainly their most accessible single, mainstream but with a sound that’s undeniably Beastie. The accompanying video, masterfully directed...

Mr. Sinise was gracious and entertaining. I hope this movie comes to my area.
Gary Sinise is a role model for any actor in Hollywood, instead of telling people how to think and vote, he lives it. "Brothers at War" is similar in that it doesn't tell you how to think. I hope you all get the opportunity to see it.
Mr. Sinise is a stand up guy. Much respect.
I love this guy!
We should show our support at the box office.
Yep, Gary is a rare specimen of an already endangered species. Gary, a fitting blessing on this day:
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
The sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields
Mr. Sinise is a total class act. Is there anyone is his business that is as decent and honorable? He brings such a great track record as well considering his acting achievements and his founding of the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago. The number of actors that have gone through there on their way to professional success is astounding. His work for the troops is unmatched by any of his contemporaries. All around a great man.
If he makes it, I'll see it. Great American, great patriot and a humble citizen doing more than his share. Thank you Gary Sinise!
Well said. I second your sentiment.
Humility. Integrity. Honor. Sinise is a throwback to everything that used to be right about Hollywood.
He's also a damn good actor. Anybody see the movie Imposter?
Todd: What's with the -53 rating? Did you accidentally post on a lefty site that uses IntenseDebate? I've read all your posts, and they all made good sense to me.
I wasn't sure, but I must have gotten barbed at the KOMO-TV news site. Guess I shouldn't express myself so openly in "Tolerant" Seattle.
And excellent enough to get me through the seemingly interminable adaptation of "The Stand." I kept waiting for pretty boy Lowe to say "screw this, I have to get back to the West Wing (I didn't actually see the miniseries until it was repeated a couple of years ago on the SciFi Channel)."
I was frantically reaching for the remote last night — I desperately try to avoid watching anything the causes my head to explode — when I heard Fallon announce Gary Sinise (giddy school girl crush alert) and thought 'huh … maybe this will be worth watching'. Never should have let my guard down … now I'm left wondering what combination of bad taste and ill manners it took for the Jimmy Fallon show to play that all American ditty, 'War', while introducing Gary Sinse — there to promote his film Brothers at War. On the other hand, Mr. Sinise was a class act and pleasure to watch, as always. So tell me … am I just being too easily offended these days?
I wonder what Andrew Breitbart can do to get him posting for Big Hollywood? I have to admit, when I first heard about BH on Dennis Miller's radio show – Gary Sinise was the first person who came to my mind as a hopeful. What a decent, humble man. His integrity is a wonderful example of what we should all strive for. All the more amazing because he is, what I think to be, one of the Hollywood Elite. Gary, I'll pay the money for the ticket at any movie you're in, my friend.
Who ever thought Jimmy Fallon would make good talk show host must have been smokin medicinal grade cow manure. Gary Sinise is a stud among just a few Hollywood elites that does "walk the walk". Can't wait to see the film. Nothing stronger than brotherly love and I am missing 2 front teeth to prove it…..:)
Today, friends, is Gary Sinise's birthday. Happy birthday, Gary.
I think you mean KOMA-TV.
So glad they are in a dispute with Dish. I have not missed a thing by not having that channel.
I can't get enough of Ken Schram and his incoherent rantings…Oh yes, I can.
I have the utmost respect for Gary Sinise. This guy walks the walk. He doesn't just pay lip service, like "I support the troops but not the mission" from some of the braindead in Hollywood on their way down Rodeo Drive. He gets on a plane and flies to see them, shake their hands and spend time with them. I wish I did half as much for them as he does. I just can't say enough in appreciation to him, for what he does for the troops.
And many Happy Returns. That man is an American Classic.
And he's schmexy as hell too. :p

Video's gone from YouTube. Here's the whole show on NBC.
And it is gone from NBC as well. At least 'from your location'. Which is Canada.
