I'm a regular visitor to Bosch's blog, and if there's one thing we agreen on (we actually agree on a lot of things though), it's our admiration of bravery; the bravery of our troops for fightng the good fight; the bravery of the writers and artists who say what needs to be said.

The facts of life: Islam allows only three ways in which the true believer can confront the infidel: Conversion, submission or death. There is no option for peaceful coexistence. The infidel ignores this at his peril.
Bosch, that comment you got should cement your faith that your art is meaningful and effective. Imagine if you had done something controversial like Fitna or dared to illustrate Mohamed with a bomb as a turban.

there are those who simply will not understand that being peaceful with those who want to KILL you doesn't work. You have to fight the way THEY fight. You have to fight to win. You have to fight with whatever weapon is available at hand. You fight with a pen, soldiers and the military fight with bullets and bombs. THEY fight with terror and they will NOT win, cause the truth is stronger than a lie.

"haters", "rage", "adolescence"??? (Can you picture this guy sleeping triple with *ahem* 'mature" Left-wing wetspots like Bill Maher and Michael Moore?)
That has very little to do with the tenets their faith. Does the US have enemies abroad? Absolutely. But the conflict that exists is no holy war. Anti-American sentiments exist in the Middle East primarily for secular reasons.
And religion has long been used as a tool for directing the disenfranchised towards violent ends. The history of Christianity in Europe shows that Islam is not unique in this regard.
The "history" of Christianity in Europe is nothing like you pretend it to be. And the "history" of Islam is also nothing like your pretense. Even in the US, a LARGE portion of the Islamic community ADMIT to supporting terrorism. But that doesn't fit your worldview, does it? Islam as a Religion of Peace is an asinine construct that will kill many more innocent Americans. With any luck, though, next time they'll take out some of the sewage.
I used to believe "the pen is mightier than the sword." But look at the many examples of authors, publishers, businesses, and politicians caving in at the most outrageous examples of Muslim aggression. From the patterns on shoes, Burger King ice cream cone packaging, the Archbishop of Canterbury for sharia, banning Geert Wilders or Michael Savage for merely having the guts to speak out, the recent UN resolution sponsored by the US and Egypt which could make 'stereotyping' Islam a crime, the famous cartoons, and most recently the book on cartoons having the *actual cartoons* edited out for fear of reprisal. No actual treat produced this latest act of craven appeasement. Sorry, but it appears to me that the Islamic sword is mightier than the cowardly western so-called elite.

Don't you love when someone, like Paul, throw out the word haters, while having a temper tantrum filled with name calling, holding his breath and stomping his feet? These people have been losing it for years. I'm assuming that Paul's a liberal and can't get over the fact that no one liked him in high school and though he was wierd. Now he's a full-fledged, hate filled liberal, taunting all those who shunned him. He's a hollow shell of a man (I use that term loosely with liberal males), forced to live in the shadows. Plotting his next taunt attack!
Islam is HERESY against the two religions that existed before it did: Judaism and Christianity. It was begun by a beggar and a thief looking for more ruthless and vicious ways to get what he wanted: other people's money and property and women. He couldnt come up with his own religious philosophy, he had to steal that too, along with the loot from the caravans he consistently raided. He had to pervert the histories of Judaism and Christianity to justify his actions. Whatever spirit visited him was an evil spirit – evil spirits do that, you know…disguise themselves as beings of light so they can gain access to your soul. Islam has only existed as long as it has because its mechanism refuse to allow for reform or adaptation. It is ruled by fear and terror, from within and without. Islam's only distinction is that it works silently like a virus from within.
I think most Muslims ARE mad that those terrorists killed 3000 people, but not because they want to defend the rights of infidels like you and me: They KNOW that by ramming planes into the WTC, those pigs blew their cover. THEY BLEW IT for the rest of the Muslims making headway through Western civilization (from which they steal a lot of good things so they can turn it around and use it against those who will not submit). They are just leftists: they cant come up with good ideas of their own, they have to abscond with others' ideas and twist it to their purposes.
But you know what? I wont pray for their deaths. I will pray for their ultimate conversion to the saving grace of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. I pray that they understand that through Him, they don't need to make a blood sacrifice. That price has already been paid. Their burden of taking souls with them when they die is lifted.
How about a logo of muhammed, nude, with a hooker, eating pork. Underneath it says, Obama's new homeland security director sure loves to party. Or something about muhammed cutting the pork in washington. Offensive, abusive, reckless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yowzer Yowzer Yowzer.

So you deny the crusades ever happened? The Spanish Inquisition? The 30 Years War? Violence between Protestants and Catholics that continues to this day?
It is not difficult to pervert faith towards destructive ends. Adopting the notion that Islam is the source of the problem is the lazy way out, ignoring the underlying societal factors that drive the conflict.
Man, it must suck to live in constant fear of 1.57 billion people.
No Chuck, No one is denying those things. But it would appear that most Christians have gotten over it at this juncture. The tenets of Islam do not allow for any "true believer" to abide an infidel.

The difference here is that Christians are not walking into crowded market squares and large gatherings and blowing not only themselves up, but also using their wives and children as well.
Contrary to your beliefs Chuck I am not mad at the past civilizations that went to war during the crusades. Nor am I carrying a grudge for the Spanish Conquistdors who destroyed and enslaved the Naitive Indians of America, north and south. But I know one religion that uses those past incidents to fuel rage against other religions and certain countries every day. Can you guess which one it is?

Find myself wondering where you live? If you're not Muslim but are secularist, Christian or Jew, would you consider moving to Egypt, Gaza, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey or any Muslim country and "coexist"?

Those that don't practice their faith (much like Christians that are not really Christians) and those that truly believe in Islam. In this group that believes- there are two classifications. First, those that believe that they can subvert those that are not true believers by using our laws and good nature against us, subverting democracy, freedom and western beliefs over a long period of time, using stealth and trickery but little violence. This is the majority of Muslims.
But with the same result of Islam over all, destroying and subverting all that is not Islam.
And then there is the second group that are also true believers but will and do use violence and do more than just wish for the demise of all that is not Islamic. Ande they really don't want prisoners nor taxpayers (unless of course for ransom). Just death to all Infidels. Which by the way includes you and your family.

He's an excellent example of a peek into the mind of a modern day leftist, liberal.
In their mind, any one who doesn't agree with their politics is the enemy. Bin looser and al qeada? Nuclear powered Iran? North Korea? Hugo Chavez? No, they're fine and can be dealt with later.
You, and me, and anyone else, we are the real enemy, the real danger in the world. He have to be dealt with at any cost. Insults, smears, ad hominem attacks, vandalizing, threats, what ever it takes. We are their enemy, far greater than any external threat.

Chuck , most of the folks who post on here have zero interest in "understanding" muslims. They are angry and want to lash out, and they see "understanding" as liberal weakness, although it actually is just good strategy.
It really is something how quickly any long discussion on here will turn nasty and bigoted.

I'm not calling for being peaceful with those who want to kill me . I'm saying that the vast majority of muslims do not want to kill me or you. Understanding this fact will help defeat the Jihadists who do want to kill us. Attacking muslims in general only makes the problem worse.
