I remember the chills that went up my spine the first time I heard the story about flight 93 and commented to everybody that would listen, that this was one of the most under reported acts of heroism in this country's recent history. Roll on!

Simply put… Its what common everyday Americans have been doing for over 200 years ……

"Tis far better to dare mighty deeds…..than take ranks with poor timid spirits"
Those Americans on that plane were mighty in Spirit and Courage…. GOD Bless them All !!!!!

Awesome work, Bosch. This one really jumps out at you when you first see it.
As for the Flight 93 people … I love the fact they were sports fans. That really shows how important sport is in our society — especially now with the increasing wussification of our culture. There has to be some sort of physical rite of passage that teaches us how to excel as an individual, which will then help the collective.
Keep 'em coming Bosch. I'll keep telling as many people as I can about your blog.

1.) Brought tears to my eyes for the fallen hero-patriots of flight 93; and…
2.) Reignited the rightious fury I had the days following 9-11.

Of all the non-military/police people I've known, the ones that possess honed instincts are the ones who have either been in their share of fistfights or, you guess, played some type of sport.
It doesn't mean they will always take the right course of action in a time of crisis, but you can bet they at least won't be sitting around doing nothing.
No thank you, Mr. Fawstin. It does my heart good to see a comic book hero taking on Islamic terrorists. Remember the good old days when Superman "slapped a Jap" or Captain America decked Hitler? Can't do that anymore according to Stan Lee. When questioned whether or not the heroes of todays comic would or should confront the jihadists his response that in this day and age it wouldn't be "appropriate" or words to that effect. With many others in the industry instead focusing on having superheroes fighting amongst themselves or gushing over Obama, it's pretty clear they share Mr. Lee's sentiments.
Sad how things have become.
So again, thanks for being a beacon of light in the dark world of comics. I'm an artist myself and am working on my own project, and yes the jihadists are prominent members of my universe's rogue's gallery with no apologies whatsoever.
