How to Kill a Union in Three Easy Steps

by Spike Spencer

1) Take away the right to anonymous ballots in voting for leadership.

2) Consistently vote in left wing leadership that supports only left wing political candidates who vote for “tax and spend” policies that destroy the very business we are all in.

3) Take away a major benefit that most non-union members would join the union for in the first place: health care.

Well, there you go. It’s as easy as that. Does this sound crazy? Out there? Never happen in a million years? Well, it’s happening right now all around us and what are we going to do about it? This concerns all of us in the entertainment field for sure, left and right. I don’t care where you stand in the Union/Non Union arena, if we don’t take action we will all be non-union like it or not. Follow me here… (more…)

Fight For America

by Spike Spencer

As I sit here in a Sydney hotel listening to the news of our savior’s next plan to change America as we know it, (you remember America, the engine of capitalism, a force for good all around the globe, and the last refuge of freedom and prosperity for millions escaping tyranny and oppression), I simply can’t resist the urge to reluctantly look forward at the enormous chasm of ruin this lemming-leader is leading us toward.

We used to be a strong, quiet nation, a big sleeping lion. It wasn’t wise to poke us with a stick and arouse our wrath. Now we seem to be becoming more and more like a fat neutered bull with dull horns with no will to do anything other than chew cud and remember the good old days when we were the hero of that joke about the old bull and the young bull up on the hill checking out the hot cows in the pasture. Hmm… Do they make Viagra for bulls nowadays? I do believe our collective heroic independence and valor needs a shot in the libido. (more…)

The Wussification of America: Part Deux

by Spike Spencer

“The truth does not require your belief in it to be so.” -Spike Spencer

So I received quite a bit of comment action from my last post, “The Wussification of America.” Most of it was positive and expressed similar views. Several on the conservative side actually missed a few of the points, but overall they got it. Of course, as expected, I received a few smuggalicious lefty responses decrying my opinion as barbaric and also as expected, questioning my manhood. As though bending over to the whims of actual barbarians is a manly way to live your life. Count me out, Sally.

Ya see, I live in a world where men take a stand. I come from a state that believes in the values of this great nation. I come from a state that believes that freedom is worth fighting for. I come from Texas, the sidearm of the nation. Undoubtedly the all knowing eyes of the left are rolling back in their head in their, “oh so better than thou” way at the knowledge that I, a redneck hick from a backwater Klan-infested swamphole could dare utter pride at such a thing. Well, to borrow a phrase from our brilliant enlightened leader, “Yes, yes I can.” (more…)

The Wussification of America

by Spike Spencer

*A detainee was shot in the groin with a BB gun during an interrogation incident. The interrogator had pointed it at the eyes and faces of other detainees before the emasculating testicle shot took place.

*A detainee was ritualistically beaten and left with a wound 7 inches around and 1/2 inch deep on his butt that required two surgeries. Apparently the detainee was told that it would “toughen up your hide.”

*3 soldiers stripped a 19 year old detainee down to his boxers and started firing BBs at him from about 5 feet away. They then tried to get the detainee to smoke marijuana and drink alcohol, which he refused.

*Soldiers made detainees lie down naked in a makeshift pool filled with six inches of ice water, beer, kitchen garbage, and urine. Other soldiers took turns standing on a stepladder above the pool and attempted to drop raw eggs into the mouth of the detainees lying in the fluid. (more…)

When in Rome Fight Anti-Americanism

by Spike Spencer

We’ve all heard the old saying “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” Now that doesn’t  mean crucifixions, world domination, and little boy rump humping. That simply means live as the locals do. Blend in. We as Americans are notorious for doing exactly the opposite. And definitely we should all collectively do our best to be decent travelers so we don’t continue to come off as obnoxious boobs to the rest of the world already looking for a reason to hate us. I’ve been that boob before, and I hereby apologize to the entire world. I have learned my lesson.

But, hate us? Really. Then why do people cross oceans on tiny little boats, risking their lives in the process, to get to our horrible country? Why do people from all over the world come to us for serious health care when it really hits the fan? Why is it that someone can come to our country, not even speak the language, and in a few years become wealthy? Let me help you Libbies out here: Opportunity, Freedom, Capitalism, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech (well sort of), Pride, Patriotism, and Water Pressure. We have been the beacon of hope around the world for over 230 years. We are still the most successful and wealthy country the Earth has ever known. We share our wealth more than an other nation on Earth. And we have shed more blood than any other country to give others the chance at the same freedoms we enjoy. So all I can say is… Jealous much? Holding The High Watch

by Spike Spencer

Do not rage against corrupt politicians; if it were not for politicians we should fall into anarchy, and your opportunity will be wasted. God has worked a long time and very patiently to bring us up to where we are in industry and government, and He is going right on with His work. There is not the least doubt that He will do away with plutocrats, trust magnates, captains of industry, and politicians as soon as they can be spared; but in the meantime, behold they are all very good. Wallace D. Wattles, “The Science Of Getting Rich”

In a moment I will show you why we should all be happy and should be thanking these ridiculous politicians selling us all down the river. Or up $#!* Creek without a paddle, whichever you prefer. But first, allow me to get a little wordy on something about which I am very passionate. (more…)

The Joker Had It Right: Why So Serious?

by Spike Spencer

I recently said something at a gathering of some of my closest friends that made them look at me like I just clubbed a baby fur seal to death with the lifeless body of a cute little puppy that I had just strangled to death with my swastika arm band. What could be so downright unnerving? Did I say I drank human blood? Did I say I was attracted to little children and poultry? Did I say I wanted to desecrate the local house of worship, non-denominational of course, by throwing feces at it and blaming those inside for all the world’s evil? Well, no. No dear friends, I said nothing of the kind. In fact, all of these things no doubt would lovingly be fought for as our rights by the ACLU.

No, I said something much, much, much worse. I said, “I don’t think that George Bush is a bad guy.” Cue the screeching halt of the car, followed closely by the dumbfounded looks of everyone around, and then the deafening silence after a bomb goes off and everything gets all slow-mo and trippy. Then they all came to at once and holy crap! There were shouts of “evil,” “devil,” “Hitler,” “His Grandfather helped the Nazis,” and the like. WOW. In all of their eyes I had unwittingly just dropped in intelligence to the level of Barack Obama’s bowling skill. (more…)

Mainstream Media: All Bias No Thunder

by Spike Spencer

President Barack Obama paid a surprise visit to the troops recently in Baghdad. For that I applaud him. The troops were buoyed up by a visit by their Commander and Chief. And that is a good thing. He also praised them for their service and commitment. Also a good thing. Then he went on to say that they had done a remarkable job in giving Iraq a great gift; the chance to govern themselves in a Democratic fashion. A free people now able to seek their own path thanks to the efforts of the U.S MILITARY!

Uh, come again? (more…)
