Modern liberals base their ideology on emotions. And emotions can not hold a candle to facts, logic and reason. They know that.

That's why they are so nasty. They have to prevent their minions from any deviance from their party line. So the natural urge is to prevent them from seeing or hearing anything from any other view point. Hence the lies, the screaming, the insult. The idea is to convince their followers, this is the only way to interact with non modern liberals.
