Zo knows best! Funny as always driving the conservative point home with a smile.
I LOVE Andrew Klavan. And 'Zo and everyone else here, but, "When the government pays for something, it's free." PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTT!!!! LOL!!!!
Oh. Awesome. Another one.
As much as you guys claim to hate that original PSA, it sure has sparked a creative renaissance among conservative humorists.
Excellent video Mr. Rachel. I look forward to each one of yours.
The left is but fodder for our opposition and amusement.
OK, honesty here. While I agree with everything they're trying to say here, this wasn't the best spoof around. The one from yesterday was much better. But that's OK, it was a good try, and I know Zo usually is wicked funny…
I don't think this was supposed to be a spoof, I think it was meant as a serious response, not intended for humor. In which case I think they were right on the button. Spoofs are great, but there are already several circulating. This was spot-on for a serious rebuttal.
Excellent work, crew.
And thanks for the "special message" at the end, Zo. Let your light so shine.
Best Mockery Yet.
Zo that was wonderful ! I love Victoria – she is so funny. The whole thing was so well done .
Zo always brings on the smile : )
I agree. with you 100 %.
I love that Zo used the "Bush" argument. That if government becomes all powerful then the next "Bush" the liberals hate will become all powerful. I like Bush, but as a fair trade, let's shrink government so I won't be under the thumb of your Obama and you won't be under the thumb of my Bush.
"obama is the new jesus" great line…he must be an arminian jesus, though, 'cuz he couldn't get the olympics to chicago.
This was great
So I shouldn't listen to rich successful celebrities opinions on health care…but I SHOULD listen to not so successful celebrities on health care? Since you guys seem to believe in an Ayn Rand/Free Market approach to things, shouldn't I respect the opinions of those who are the richest and most successful the most?
Ask yourself if those celebrities are going to sign up for the government run healthcare, or keep what they already have.
'Cause Jesus left Chicago, bound for New Orleans.
Wait. I thought the fear was that everyone would sign up for government run health insurance (you said "healthcare" but I'm sure you meant "health insurance") thus killing off the private sector. I can't keep my stories straight!
Funny, loved the line Obama is the new Jesus, I guess Che is dead now, officially for the left
No, palmtree. You should listen to the voices telling you to jump.
Um, actually we're not suggesting you listen to anybody but yourself and your doctor concerning your health.
It's Left wing celebrities suggesting they and the government know what's best for your health, and what seems to be best for your health is to force others into paying into it. I see you're trying to use our principles against us. You have to understand our principles first, and if you understood them, you'd embrace them.
So ummm… you think both Objectivism and the Free Market approach both advocate respecting the opinions of those who are the richest and most successful? I'm afraid that's wrong on both counts.
Objectivism, and the Free Market approach isn't about swearing loyalty to the successful, or following in lockstep with them. It is about having the courage, strength, and tenacity to take responsibility for yourself and make -your own- success.

No surprise. As your side is so fond of saying, our coverage helps us gain access to affordable care. When the government is the only insurance provider, they control access to our care particularly if their new bill does nothing to reduce costs (which it doesn't).
LOL! I think there is something really effective about the phrase "let's shrink government so I won't be under your Obama and you won't be under my Bush." Nice.

Great video, I enjoyed it so much. Way to go Zo, another hit.
Zo, you are the man!!
Sorry, have to be the dissenter, but having loved Zo's and Klavan's other pieces, this is wayyyyy too long, and in desperate need of an editor; the messages are all over the place, swinging from satire to mimicry to minipontifications….what strings them together? Better to have been two shorter pieces.
Zo, don't take this the wrong way…but I love you, man. Keep on keepin' on.
A beautifully anti-American video. I kind of like the guys, but I see what you're getting at.
ADDENDUM: Actually, I'm not sure anti-American is fair. There's probably some buried patriotism gurging away there, under all the 'immagrunts!' blather. It's Americans you hate, not the arbitrary scrap of land itself.
Ok , I hear that. I still think it's odd for semi-celebrities to make fun of other celebrities for expressing their opinions, I mean neither group are experts on health insurance plans.
When I say health care, I'm talking about the political debate going on in the country right now, not personal medical issues.Clearly you do want me to listen to your opinion, that's why you made the video. Saying it's between me and the doctor misses the point , which is how much does it cost, who pays for it , who can afford it , and who can't? As far I can tell your opinion is that if you don't make enough $ to afford health care , then tough luck. I don't think much of that position and i think the vast majority of americans agree with me, followers of Ayn Rand , Cleon Skousen , and Rush Limbaugh not included.
I do hear voices but generally they are saying , "damn I can't stand this traffic one more minute! better stop for a donut"
This, uhh….wasn't really funny at all. =/ I get that you have a message, and you disagree with gov't healthcare and all that, but find you're own unique, interesting way to reach the people. Copycatting Will Ferrell (who's a tool even when he's right) just makes you look like an even bigger tool.
This is right on. The government can't be trusted. Unless the issue is wiretapping. Or torture. Or WMD's. Or occupying sovereign nations. In those instances, we should believe everything we're fed.
Ah but only when their vitriol isn't worthy of pity in place of satire.
Yes, we can't trust or have our government to control our lives, unless we take it back and that's how democracy works for us!
I'm confused.. who are these people? I don't recognize any of them. Was blondie on SNL a hundred years ago? Help.
Hmm…I think I recognize that guy from somewhere…oh yeah:

Is this supposed to be funny?
Ah…. vitriol and humor to a lib is one and the same. See Maher, Letterman, Garofalo. Griffith,
Bett Midler, Madonna and the list goes on.
We show pity, they think we are taking a shot at them.
We show "kind" humor, they think we are taking a shot at them.
We report the news objectively, they blame Bush.
Satire is too advanced for most of them.
.
>> Is this supposed to be funny?
You need to have a conservative mind to get the jokes.
You know, the same kind of mind that thinks somebody can possibly be an extreme liberal, fascist, communist and islamic fundamentalist at the same time.
…this is the best they could do? "Why don't you get off your butt, find a job and get insurance that way? Like normal people." maybe because it's a recession? Maybe because many companies don't offer insurance? Or they offer it, and charge more for less?
*shrug* If you want to attack it, at least have it thoughtout.
I really didn't think that was funny. Or clever. Or even all that smart.
oh wah wah wah wah. I would pay the tax just to hear this argument go away.
Extra points for the theological humor!
"…Because I want it."
And if I hadn't said it before, Zo, I think you're a righteous dude. Rock on, mah brotha!
Now that's a good joke
Garbage. Was this supposed to be funny or more right wing propaganda b.s?
Could someone please list the names of the people in the video; I recognize some, but would love to know who they all are. Thanks.
Agree, disagree on the issue, the more I see poor Victoria Jackson, what was funny and sweet in a young lady, looks … well… sad at her age. It makes me think that she isn't playing dumb. which is sad. Because when I thought it was an act, I thought it was funny.
Drat… The video is down. I wanted to see this
