Conservatives often talk about what they don’t like about Hollywood. That’s okay, but it’s not productive. Maybe it’s time we talked about what we do like? More to the point, let’s point out when Hollywood has gotten it right. And that brings me to the...

I kinda miss the basement shot…and time for a third party. The Bad-A** Conservatives.
"The problem is not Republican principals. The problem is unprincipaled Republicans."
Zo, You ever consider a job as a speechwriter? People need to hear this stuff during campaigns.
Let me get the check, its in the garage! ROFL
Zo's gone pro! New background, much better editing. Awesome work!
There are too few principled men in Congress. There are some who have been voting "No" since this mess started last fall, but they haven't been as vocal as I wish they would be.
I like the new setup! Very good. But loosen up a little bit.
Love Zo. We're going to have to stand up for him and be counted soon, because the more truth he tells, the bigger a target for Obama he becomes.
Word.
(Is that still pertinent? I hate being behind on slang..)
I'm getting to the point where I see Zo's posted something, I have to stop and watch. And I don't think he's tightened up, he's applying that time honored principle, "brevity is the soul of wit."
As long as that means he can now double up on his output!!!
Somebody better be thinking about listening to this man in conservative Republican circles, if not soliciting his opinions directly….
'Zo – You done it again, dog. Kept ya head down, full swing, solid contact…outta the park.
"Problem isn't the principles of Republicans, the problem is unprincipled Rebublicans." Outstanding.
(And I like the nw B.G….very cool. You've upped the production value.)
Keep talkin' the truth, ma man!
Yeah…but did you all hear Congressman Bachmann today grill Geithner and Bernanke? Whoa — she stuck them with, "Can you find in the Constitution the authorization for the actions the Fed has taken [in the bailouts, etc]…" And she was relentless…until Barney Frank, sweating bullets, rudely cut her off. Right on, Congressman Bachmann…showing some backbone! Finally, someone is standing up for 'the forgotten man'. I hope it embolden's more Repubs on the Hill.
Was that Roger L. Simon as Big Government?
Go Zo!
Woohoo! Production values!
Wish I did, now; I was hanging around here. Must upgrade my technology systems.
Zo.. I love ya man! This is awesome.
"Unprincipled republicans are liberal by default" is a great line too. Go, Zo!
Awesome as always.
I knew Zo had gone all establishment on us when I saw the preview of him standing in front of Air Force One (just kidding). Somehow, I'll miss the garage shots, but that's because I'm old enough to remember, and miss, garage bands. Good stuff, and I guess Zo has to keep up with the competition.
Gettin' better and better 'Zo. Your vids are the highlight of the day.
Excellent point, Mjolnir. Rush Limbaugh can't do what Ann Coulter does. Ann Coulter can't do what Jonah Goldberg does. Jonah Goldberg can't do what R. Emmet Terrell does. And Terrell sure as hell can't do what Zo does. We need them all. This is a joint effort, and we must all play the parts we do best.
Awesome…I miss the cinder-block walls though…
I sort of miss the cinder block walls too.
As for garage bands, not only do I remember them, I was in one. Hehe.
Spot on as always!! Thank you to Big Hollywood for featuring Zo, everyone needs to hear his message!!!
Excellent point about his excellent point, so excellent points and drinks all around.
Zo's now using blue-screen. You're selling-out to Whitey.
Cool.
Why didn't the 10 A.I.G. executives who "Gave Up" and and gave back the money, go to the garage first?
The world wonders?
I only learned to play the piano and organ, so as a practical matter, I couldn't be part of the bands. So I provided the garage. Fortunately for the future of rock, nobody ever actually heard us other than our pained-looking parents.
Great video Zo! Like the background. The message, as usual, is 100% correct and wonderfully said! I hope to see you someday run the Repubican Party!!
I'll drink to that.
Message is on target as always. I like the new look and slicker production. Your old videos had tighter shots, though (chest/shoulders on up) than this (mostly waist on up) that really showed your facial expressions well. Maybe it's because of the new wider format, but you look "smaller" in this vid. Not a big deal. Still, I think your expressions are so important to your delivery you might want to include more head shots.
Had to be Roger. Who else could wear that hat?
He could just outfit the garage with a few acoustic tiles, like the ones in Glenn's basement.
I'd agree with that.
As a Conservative woman completely seduced by your honey-smooth words, I will cast my vote with USArtboy and Andrew. You really do have great expressions! There is a lot of charm in your livingroom videos. Don't lose that in the 'slickification' of your productions.
Oooooo — just keep talking Conservative politics to me, baby!
I keep hearing that conservatives are losing the war with pop culture. I think Zo is the man to help win that war! Maybe he should do a vid with Joe the plumber. Awesome
Dear Mr. Zo,
When I saw your vid. a couple of weeks ago announcing that PJTV was willing to “pay your rent”, I commented that you would soon be seen with your hat on straight and a gray business suit on. Well, now you are.
GOOD FOR YOU MY MAN!
American hard work and an idea for greatness is paying off for you. Stay the course.
I am so happy for you Zo my buddy.
My boys (8 & 11), look forward to your every vid. and learn while LTAO.
I’m proud of you son.
Not Over.
Damn, always get here too late for the booze!
There's that, but more than anything this video proves that all the slick production equipment in the world can't hide the fact that Roger L. Simon is helluva lot better writer than he is an actor.
Zo! You're on your way to be coming big time. (Not that you aren't already) Two notes as a friend and industry type, – one (for you)…loosen up, you're just doing the same thing you always have. Two (for them) Get a tighter shot of Zo, he lights up the screen. I talked to you about a week ago (with Buddy) an excited to have been talking to the guy who's the next big thing. Brilliant work.
I'm with PattiAnn. I miss the frantic pace, the gritty editing and the basement wall shot. *sigh.* I guess we'll get used to it, I do love the Zo man.
I have to confess I was in a punky new wave band in the 80's, playing the old Casio keyboard, wearing my hair shaved into a mohawk, dyed pink, with safety pins in my ears. Some friends still have blackmail pics.
Ditto, I would like them to be more up close and personal. The facial expressions made the vids, for me. Plus the rapid-fire, red bull fueled delivery. Can you combine the two?
Zo always dig your message. But, I think I miss your basement. It had a spontaneity or off the top of your head, if you will. But, I can be old fashioned about change and will keep watching with baited anticipation.
That is a great idea Nathan. I'll second that thought!

I'm a tad older than you. My son was doing his thing in the late 80's, but they were into the new age, techno stuff, so I probably has the same pained look my parents had. By coincidence, all four of the guys had yellow cars. So they called themselves "The Screaming Yellow Weenie Heads." Kids.

I played bass in a thrash band in the early '90s. I had hair halfway down my back, we rarely wore shirts, and I can honestly say I we only ever played one show while completely sober. Good times, good times. Then the hair had to go, because the cowboy boots turned into combat boots, I still have both my basses though.
And I still want to form a punk band called Angry Fudge.
I remembered Angry Fudge from your earlier post. That's why I couldn't resist telling you the name of my son's band. And did I actually say ". . . I probably 'has'?" Think I meant "had."

Hehe, well in your son's defense I've seen a lot worse band names, heck I've been in a couple!
You can't blame a Democrat for being a Democrat. It's not like they have hidden their agenda since the 60's. It was the weakeness and loss of core values of the Republican party that has allowed this to happen. They were supposed to be watching out for us and not the other way around. We are the only ones carrying the message. Why else would so many people facing such tough times ahead vote for someone like Obama? All McCain did was tell people to lay off Obama and didn't even have the balls to do his own attacking. He had to hide behind Sarah Palin. And after that, made sure to try and kneecap her 'lest she become too popular. That was the best we put forth besides trying to tell people how bad Obama would be.
Way to go Zo, if we had more republicans like you speaking for the party we could actually win an election once in awhile. We need more humor in the party that makes good points that communicates your great messages.
If i'm not mistaken , didn't the Federal Reserve start the bailout of AIG? What's this got to do with Republicans?
Ooooh right.. The Goldman Sachs overseer Henry Paulsen , managed to the scare the heck out of the entire Government. So somehow that translates to Republican.. Even though the House GOP killed Henry Paulson's bill at the first chance (and unfortunately caved)
I cant remember the times I heard detestable Democrats complain about 'Corporate Welfare'… They never get to complain about that again… ever.
Educating and Entertaining…what more can a person ask for? Keep up the good work, Zo. The enhanced production values only add to the quality of your pieces. I like it a lot. Also, good to see Roger L. Simon make a cameo appearance.____Continued success and good health to you.
Zo…I love you man, but I have to tell you that green background is not good for your beautiful complexion! For some reason I listened to what you had to say a little bit harder when you were filming in your home. In fact, I would go back several times to replay some things that you said. I don't know, this new format was a little too polished for me I guess.
