It caused a furor in Germany for suggesting that there might have been some historical (and thus preventable) bases for Hitler's madness.

They can rule only on what is brought before them. They cannot make up arguments for one side.

This is a Legislative issue. The Legislative defines.

So, Montana and North Dakota are in the final stages of defining "personhood" as beginning at conception.

This action is the result of Roe SCOTUS:

"If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case, of course, collapses, for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the [Fourteenth] Amendment."

In other words, had Texas brought a definition of "person" before the Court, the Court says it would have had to rule the other way. As I say, Montana and North Dakota are fixing that.

Honestly this whole 'we won, you lost get over it.' bit is beyond hypocrital. Bitching for eight years was 'over it'? Still bitching about about Bush is over it? STILL bitching about Reagan (some even wishing a painful death on Nancy because she loved a man they hated) is over it? I dont think I've met one liberal in my life who has ever had something not to whine about, who has ever gotten over anything. They could stub a toe and hold against the nightstand for a few years. Hell, they may try to open an investigation to see if the goverment had a hand in the tragic attack on their toe.

I will stop dissenting and 'get over it' when your party can do the same.
