America is segragationist when it comes to jobs involving the dispensation of information and public service: news media, entertainment media, academia, education, elected office, appointed office, civil service, the buearocracy: There’s a big sign at the entrance of these institutions that says “Donkey’s Only: elephants, Foxes and any other species capable of independent thought need not apply.” The other sign says “Only Donkey’s can be black, brown, yellow or red.” The Donkey’s smirk and bray and say “What signs?” But the signs are obvious to everyone else.
The establishment won’t want Alfonzo seeing the light of day.

Uhhh….Wow. Powerfully articulated, ma man. I asolutely love this format. You are a cheerful warrior, and spot on! You have superbly unveiled the real root of all the hatred of President Bush: his pro-life stance, and more, the nasty gem of reality behind that — the worship of abortion as the panacea to promiscuity. Sexual actions… with no consequences…and certainly no inconvenient truths of unborn babies that just may want to live. (As least, I assume they want to live. Trouble is, there are so few abortion victims that are around to ask.)
We need to stop this practice of wishing Obama success dead in its tracks: Even Fox pundits are routinely saying, about Obama, “I want him to be successful.” Huh???
Maybe that type of sentiment was valid 30 years ago, but things have
changed. Saying that is akin to putting a stamp of approval on

Thing is, I dont hate Obama either…just 1) the socialist/communist ideals he espouses, 2) the methods by which he achieved the highest office in the land and 3) the lack of respect he appears to have for the people that put him there. I hope he succeeds in gaining a conversion to how great America is and a deep appreciation for the lives that were laid down so he could be where he is now (and will be after next Tuesday.) Until then, I wont hate HIM, but I will have NO respect for him because so far he is the new avatar for all the hatred that the Left has spewed towards those of us who love freedom. I’ve talked to a few people who voted for “The One ” simply because they hated McCain and Bush’s stance on the border. They figured, what the hell, what’s the difference between a RINO and Barry.

The fact that 90% of African Americans voted for Obama points to the liberals success at isolating and appealing to the emotions of a voting bloc; the fact that over 70% of African Americans voted in support of Proposition 8 reflects the principles and values they share with their fellow American conseratives. Leftist sound bytes and slogans seek to simplify, distort and isolate. Vince, I agree with your post (January 16th, 2009 at 2:06 pm) 100%, but was it really worth the effort? The troll you responded to just threw out a ad hom and ran away.
I’m sure we have all read the line “Please Don’t Feed the Trolls.” But, at least wherever I go, they still get fed. I know it’s difficult to ignore them, in fact I’ve fed a few myself, sometimes it takes an almost superhuman effort to not respond to them. They are beneath contempt.
But that’s my point. Trolls like the one you responded to (and I don’t mean to pick on you, you made a great point, it’s just that I happened to be restraining myself from responding when I read your response) are really beneath our contempt. They aren’t worth the effort. They don’t want discussion, they want argument, they want attention.
Wouldn’t it be nice if “Please Don’t Feed the Trolls” was actually implemented here? I don’t mean ignoring lefties who make honest attempts at intelligent dialog, but refusing to even acknowledge guys like the one above who just lob worthless attacks from the safety of their anonymity in hopes that the attention that they get will bringing a little warmth to whatever cold, dark cave they are posting from.
