He is no hate mongerer or anything like that. If he is anything, he is a strong believer in democracy and the rule of constitutional law. He does not hate muslims, or anybody of any belief or faith. The case Mr Wilders makes is that the Islam is more then just a religious faith. And in this he does have a point. The Islam also had build-in, a complete set of ready-to-use laws on every aspect of society (the shari'a) which clashes directly with western democracy. In Europe this problem is groing every year, with the continued influx of thousands of new muslim immigrants. Mr Wilders request for the ban of the Quran is a SPECIFICALLY DUTCH PROBLEM. He has only talked about this in regard to the Netherlands. Why? Because in the Netherlands there has been a legal and political ban on Hitlers book Mein Kampf ('My struggle') sinds the seventies. This is the only book which is officially banned in this country because of its racisme. Sadly, also the Quran has this problem of embedded racism but also preaches bitter violence against non-believers and discrimination (and even violence!) against...women. All in all, the Quran is EVEN WORSE than Hitlers book. In the Quran there are also pages upon pages in which Jihad ('Struggle') is called upon to be followed by muslims against the whole non-islamic world. Anybody can look it up for himself. I.e. there is more to the Quran then meets the eye. That is why Mr Wilders (who has read the Quran and the Hadith, and has traveled extensively [and lived] in de Middle East) has argued the point of banning the Quran in the Netherlands. His argument is: If Hitlers book (which nobody reads anymore [except perhaps in Muslim countries, where the book is still reprinted by the thousands] has to be banned, then the Quran must shurly also be banned. My (Dutch) wife and daughter and I left (escaped) just in time, and will never set foot there again. Seeing roving gangs of Moroccan "youths" regularly marching while chanting "Hamas, Hamas- Jews to the gas!" without being stopped by the government or police was the final straw. What is happening over there is beyond disgusting and beneath contempt, and I have no illusions that, in time, the same fate won't befall America unless (by some miracle?) people are made aware of what's in store for us if cleverly disguised terrorist thugs like CAIR have their way. And I do not support Republicans. Of the two major parties, they tend to represent my interest better than Democrats, or at the very least, are the lesser of two evils. I don't remember who said this, but it sure makes a lot of sense - "The poor have been voting for democrats for 50 years and they are still poor." I suppose I just became so used to seeing that sort of thing that I subconsciously ignore it (scary, but it's true!). Also, my four year-old granddaughter is being taught Spanish in pre-school (not by request- it now comes with the territory). As for Germany, unless I'm mistaken I believe that's where the 9/11 atrocity was originally planned by Mohammed Atta and his murdering scumbag Jihadi cronies, wasn't it?
