Did Sean Hannity tell you that Hans Blix said he wanted to recheck and was denied? Why don't we look at Hans Blix's actual WORDS (not run through the FOX NEWS blender). By the way, his name is "Blix," not "Blicks" but I guess in your world of grammarless, wireless keyboard blogging being accurate about someone's name is just another time wasting technicality. You might actually learn how to SPELL things if you watched and listened to less YOUTUBE and right wing radio. Why bother? So much easier to let your puppet masters think and spell for you.

<a href="http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/tools_and_services/specials/article877365.ece?token=null&offset=0&page=1" target="_blank">http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/tools_and_servic...</a>

BLIX "Since we have arrived in Iraq we have conducted more than 400 inspections covering more than 300 sites. All inspections were performed without notice and access was almost always provided promptly. In no case have we seen convincing evidence that the Iraqi side knew in advance that the inspectors were coming."

"More than 200 chemical and more than 100 biological samples have been collected at different sites. Three-quarters of these have been screened using our own laboratory analytical capabilities at the Baghdad Centre (BOMVIC). The results to date have been consistent with Iraq’s declarations."

"Mr. President, In my 27 January update to the Council, I said that it seemed from our experience that Iraq had decided in principle to provide cooperation on process, most importantly prompt access to all sites and assistance to UNMOVIC in the establishment of the necessary infrastructure. This impression remains, and we note that access to sites has so far been without problems, including those that had never been declared or inspected, as well as to Presidential sites and private residences."

God, it just so much fun documenting what a gullible buffoon wingnut you are.

The UN was aware of standing yellow cake in Saddams possesion - the UN had repackaged it and documented it prior to the invasion. Part of the frustration is that Hans Blicks wanted to recheck that and Saddam told him no....This same Yello Cake has recently just made it to Canada due a Secret Gov Plan to get it out of the Middle East.
Additional ties were that after 9/11 the war on terror went after those that encouraged/supported terrorists. Saddam gave money to families who's members were suicide bombers.
So again, your repainting of history to make us the bad guys and your typical excuse making for truly BAD MEN is again stomach wrenching.....you are a whiny liberal with no spine but to argue against those who you know you're protected from - go talk this trash over there - I give you a week before you end up like Ron Pearlman or Nick Berg.....

Based on everything you typed above, it is even more justifiable that we went.
What was known to the Administration ALONG with bad intel was some of the following:
We knew Saddam had killed thousands of Iraqi's with chemical weapons in his own country -
We knew that Isreal had previously bombed a nuclear plant in Iraq -
We knew he had enriched uranium already onsite and that it could be used to arm a weapon - while not the opptimum solution for a standard special weapon - he could've done this. And the contamination would have been smaller but equally deadly.

Have you taken a look at the Senate Intelligence Committee "Phase One" and the foot dragged "Phase Two" reports?

Here you go. Note that Pat Roberts is a Republican and was chairman of the Committee:

<a href="http://www.nationaljournal.com/about/njweekly/stories/2005/1027nj1.htm" target="_blank">http://www.nationaljournal.com/about/njweekly/sto...</a>

"Vice President Cheney and his chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, overruling advice from some White House political staffers and lawyers, decided to withhold crucial documents from the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2004 when the panel was investigating the use of pre-war intelligence that erroneously concluded Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, according to Bush administration and congressional sources."

"After the release of the report, Intelligence Committee, Chairman Pat Roberts, R-Kan., and Vice Chairman Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., said they doubted that the Senate would have authorized the president to go to war if senators had been given accurate information regarding Iraq's programs on weapons of mass destruction.'I doubt if the votes would have been there," Roberts said. Rockefeller asserted, "We in Congress would not have authorized that war, in 75 votes, if we knew what we know now.'"

This information is out there and hardly coming from "conspiracy goofs". You are not going to hear this information on Fox though. I think if you do a little research, the "bloggers" who claimed that there was no connection between Saddam and 9/11 had it right. "Bloggers" were listening to people like Scott Ridder and it didn't take being a conspiracy goof. See if you think what Scott Ridder said PRIOR to war, sounds true to you:

"But the problem is, this war hinges on Iraq's possession or efforts
to reacquire weapons of mass destruction. If you listen to the rhetoric
that comes out of Washington DC -- from members of the Bush
Administration -- we have been told that 'They know Iraq has chemical
weapons. They know Iraq has biological weapons. They know Iraq is on the
verge of a nuclear weapons program breakthrough-- within two years
Saddam Hussein will have a nuclear weapon that can threaten the United
States. They know Saddam Hussein is developing long-range ballistic
missiles.'

Now I'm just a simple Marine, but I'm here to tell you. When I hear
someone say, "I know something" that implies certainty of knowledge that
has to be based upon facts. So if they know, share the facts. Let us
know too. And they have failed to do so to date."

<i>Were they being given misinformation from the Bush White House? Absolutely. </i>

What, specifically? You are aware that there were Democrats on all committees, and received more or less the same briefings the President did (not necessarily at the same time, but they heard them). I always hear this argument from the Left, but have never heard a single report cited of anything they received that was "misinformation" from the White House (which is funny in and of itself, since the information never comes from the White House....it comes from the Intelligence agencies and the Pentagon). The Dems are in control of everything, so where is the investigation to finally divulge the "lies" the Left keeps telling us about?

What's really funny is that they constantly say Bush lied to Congress with facts only he knew, yet somehow they think bloggers and conspiracy goofs who search the net got the correct information. Just think about the inanity of that position.....
