MTV ran this headline today: ‘Rush Limbaugh Responds To Jay-Z’s ‘Off That’ In Graphic Detail’
A network’s that’s spent two decades lining its pockets selling vulgar sex to young people calling anything “graphic” is patently absurd. Here’s what Rush said on his show regarding rapper Jay-Z:
I’m now in a rap tune by the famous rapper Jay-Z. I would remind the rapper Jay-Z: Mr. Z, it is President Obama who wants to mandate circumcision. We had that story yesterday; and that means if we need to save our penises from anybody, it’s Obama. I did not know I was on anybody’s balls, either.
“Penises” and “balls” qualifies as “graphic detail”? For MTV? Rush is of course referencing the possibility the Obama administration will mandate circumcision for all baby boys. But let us not forget Mr. Limbaugh’s quote is in response to a song where he’s asked to remove himself from The Jigga Man’s scrotum and testicles:

Why does MTV even care? They have lost thier way years ago and program to the lowest common denominator and I could care less. Part of the problem with society at large is the worship of so-called artists as having anything that resembles wisdom. If you really take an honest look throughout history there have been many great artists but I would not have wanted any of them in charge of any thing and I sure would not take any advice on how to run things from them. They may be able to accurately reflect or bring to light uncomfortable aspects of any society but that does not give them the wisdom to to propose a solution..

Back when MTV embraced and started promoting hip-hop blacks in American still existed (for the most part) in traditional family units. Life was a lot different back in the late 80's. Most black children knew who their father was. Now 20 years later look at how far Black Americans have fallen. Rap has to be largely to blame for the disintegration of the black family. Young men don't settle down with hos and b-tches. Young women who view themselves as hos and b-tches don't expect much from a man.

If I were to violate the Ninth and Tenth Amendments in any way, it would be by introducing a bill in the House that proposed to make the use of the unadorned word "artist" illegal in reference to any creative individual who is not actually dead. If you want to describe what you do for a living, call yourself a musician or a painter or a visual artist — you're not allowed to refer to yourself as an "artist", plain and simple, until you f__king EARN it.

Has anyone noticed that Rush was lieing about the circumcision claim? All that's actually happened is that a few CDC scientists looked at studies relating circumcision to HIV transmission and concluded it's interesting, but probably not applicable to the US. And from this, Rush manages to conclude that Obama wants to cut off baby's foreskins? Obama doesn't even have anything to do with it, it's a CDC decision with no connection at all to the office of the president! And it's highly unlikely they'll decide to recordmend circumcision anyway. And if they do recormend it, this will not be in any way legally binding.
Rush has started with a grain of truth, then distorted and exagerated it beyond recognition into an excuse to make yet another false claim about Obama.
Statistically, it goes back farther than that. Generational welfare is responsible for the disintegration of urban black families. Prior to the '60s, the divorce and illegitimate birth rates among urban blacks were approximately the same as whites. Star Parker has written several books examining this. "Uncle Sam's Plantation" is recommended. Rap is arguably an effect of that, but an unlikely cause.
Rush did Jay-Z ("Mr. Z" as Rush referred to him) a favor by mentioning him on his show and giving him more exposure than he had by being played on MTV for the children it entertains/panders to/indoctrinates.

How does dying make someone an artist? A person's work didn't magically change or improve when they died. We have a responsibility to bury the dead, but that doesn't include throwing titles on their caskets. What good does it do to call them artists if they're dead? It's a disservice to the living to honor the dead just because they are not able to hear the praise…or that they cannot add to their collection.
There are a good deal of musicians–still living–who could be respectfully called "artists."

I believe one of the causes for the destruction of the black family was LBJ's welfare reforms. Under the system, families could not receive support if the father was in the home. This gave an economic incentive for fathers to leave so that the single mother could increase their standard of living on welfare reform.
Here's something anecdotal, but I see it every day.
I do daily grocery shopping, as I do all the cooking and enjoy the process of shopping for a specific recipe. So anyway, I'm queued up in line at the checkout, and there's a well dressed black couple ahead of me. The man is clean and well-groomed, mid 30s, obviously employable. His wife/slash "partner" pays for their groceries with food stamps. Then I see them out in the parking lot loading their bags into a two-year-old Altima. I see it every day. Different people but the exact same scenario.
How is it possible that these people actually qualify for food stamps? I don't know each of their individual case histories, but it seems intuitively obvious that this is fraud of some sort. Maybe they're living together and not reporting the boyfriend's income?
In any case, there's never any sense of shame evident. I would have worked three jobs if I needed to, before I ever allowed my wife to draw welfare. I don't understand this.
Jay-Z's lyrics should be carved in stone and dedicated as a monument to the racket known as public education.
