It is true US corporations are the main decider on how things run here. And that's why this is an f-n great country! It actually can lead to some terrible things, but it's still the best system. The fact that a large number of diverse producing entities…each representing 1000's of workers and whole towns is what has the influence. It's like saying the best at whatever they do make the rules. If there was one corporate cabal it would be bad, but it isn't. It's hundreds of competing entities, Enron vs. coal companies, Ford vs. GM all built from the ground up. That's as good as it gets. Only when the government actually merges with them do they get extra unwarranted power and that's the sad result of leftist policies like you probably want simkatu. (And don't kid us, you are a leftist which is fine just be honest)

My 13 year old neighbor an his father were gunned down by guerrillas with AK-47s. Guess what? They were innocent civilians and just like them there were thousands of families who suffered. The corrumpt Latin American governments were not good guys by any means but I guess liberals like you preffer communist dictartors?
