I had not thought of that. He was pretty serious about that whole misleading the children thing. He even told the Apostles to let them come to Him. About the only positive comparison He gave us, was when He called us children. (Mostly it was to call us sheep – which we are, though He did not mean it meanly, just telling us the facts of things..laugh)

Actually, the crucified part is actually fairly easy (well, except for the dying part of it).

It's the rising on the third day that's the hard part. (I'm not making light of what He went through, the difference being He could have done something about it at any time, but chose not to out of love for His Father and us.)

Yes, the Resurrection part is the hard one. Crucifixion happened to several people, but none who could put a stop to it though, like Christ.

I'm on board with you. Logically, either America disintegrates into a third-world type country with no power, or we get blown off the map. Either way, Israel is left at the end standing alone. This sets up a situation where God is their only hope for rescue.

My major worry right now is if we do disintegrate into chaos in my lifetime, where will I get toilet paper? Seriously, think about it. What one good in your life is more important than toilet paper? I could fill my garage with it and it wouldn't last very long, at least not seven years. (You can tell I'm not convinced on the whole pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib thing.)
