It’s Gut Check Time, Ms. Couric
by Andrew BreitbartThis week’s Washington Times column:
Now that White House “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones has resigned, what’s next?
Inevitably, the American mainstream media – ABC, NBC, CBS, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Time, Newsweek, et al – must be held to account for sitting on the sidelines as this major story kept building without them, went viral on YouTube, and then became so large that a key appointee of President Obama was forced to step down.
But with their decision to ignore the Jones story, they may have actually done Mr. Obama far more harm than good: Who vetted this guy? How did he get past the FBI? What did he say, and how did he answer the infamous seven-page questionnaire that all Obama appointees were required to fill out? Inquiring Freedom of Information Act minds want to know.
For most people in this country, the resignation was the first they had heard of Van Jones. For this sin of journalistic omission, there’s institutional media blame. Bias is too tame a word for the utter shamelessness on display: Only Republican scandals – real and imagined – matter.
And it’s not just those the Democratic-Media Complex dub as “mobs” or “tea baggers” that are taking notice. Diminishing audience and evaporating subscribership reflect widespread consumer dissatisfaction. Eventually, the money will run out.
But until then, the growing alternative media of Internet and talk radio and a burgeoning mass of justifiably angry Americans will make every effort to expose the sham that is mainstream journalism.
Obviously, it’s not that the Jones story wasn’t newsworthy. His racist rants, his radical background and his membership in a 9/11 “truther” group made for heavy-rotation YouTube viewing that would have immediately destroyed other mere mortals if the shoe were on the right – or white – foot.
Compounding the problem, the Jones narrative hurts Mr. Obama because it underlines how the mainstream media helped elect the president by glorifying him instead of vetting him.
Just as Mr. Obama was not even cursorily investigated, Van Jones, a fellow “community organizer,” was not given the slightest media attention when named as an unaccountable “czar” selected to oversee billions in taxpayer money for the ambiguous purpose of “green energy.” And that despite having a body of damning evidence that could be found with a single Google search by an ADHD-addled high-school journalism student.

On the plus side of all of this – I was just mentioning to a consedrvative friend today – is that the New Media in all its forms got this story out and we didn't **need** the Katie Courics.
On the plus side of all of this – I was just mentioning to a conservative friend today – is that the New Media in all its forms got this story out and we didn't **need** the Katie Courics.
This is a great and important point, Mr. Breitbart. The MSM buried this story hoping it would go away, they instead focused on what can only be called a fake-roversy, opposition to Obama's school speech. But it didn't go away, it went nuclear on them, and now they are in the worst possible position: having to explain why they never talked about it.
They make the news, or at least they used to, and they are accustomed to deciding what is news, with no other source to challenge them. That era is over though, because of talk radio, the internet, and more fair news organizations like Fox.
No, what we're going to see now, and it ought to be entertaining, is the MSM trying to explain that Van Jones resigned, and then explain why none of their viewers has ever heard of the guy.
Goodbye, Democrat Media Complex. I'm enjoying watching you die.
Liberals make judgments based on the value and virtue of one's emotions, not actions or consequences. Van Jones "feels" in his heart like liberals do, so of course Couric and Williams and all the other over-paid "journalists" will ignore him, because to address or investigate Jones would require "mainstream" journalists to see themselves and be truly baffled over why the rest of the country doesn't "feel" like they do. They will never get it. Well, maybe they would get it if there were a direct connection to their pay and specific market forces (you know, kind of like what most Americans experience). Maybe then the media would actually pay attention to how the customers (the public) think, what they want, etc.
"And that despite having a body of damning evidence that could be found with a single Google search by an ADHD-addled high-school journalism student."
Forgive my ignorance, but did a high school student with ADHD start this ball rolling? I have some people close to me that would take that as encouragement if so. ^_^
ABC,CBS,NBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Time, Newsweek, et al do not care about
Van Jones' opinions on 9/11 – …only third-tier GOPropaganda *news operations* like Brietbart care about
contributing to Democratic character assassination. Skewering true leaders is what the GOP does best.
So now you've had your three-peat:
> You creeps got Letterman to apologize to that nutcase Pailin.
> You got Obama to recognize the rascist, dogmatic cop in Boston.
> You twisted facts to smear Obama's architect of green business regarding
his disbelief in 9/11 jingoism.
Where was your reporting of TN Senator Paul Stanley's sex scandal hmmmm?
causing him to resign three weeks ago… Oh yeah – you skipped that one.
Let's wait to see how you cover the upcoming Iraq War Crimes tribunal — !
Betcha there'll be plenty of stories about movies and trailer skirmishes
on Breitbart and all of Fox News during that page in REAL NEWS history!
And – how come you're not mentioning http://www.tortureteam.org – those are fun playing cards!
Andrew, asking Katie Couric to look in the mirror is cruel.
Her botox-head and Tony Hawk circa 1988 hairdo would shatter the mirror.
I am planning to hit local media with just this point…
You missed something extremely important.
Why?
The OSMSM ( the OS is 'open sewer' as the Internet and the 'disinformation' on it has been recently referred to, but now more aptly applies to the MSM, Brokaw, Couric, Williams, Gibson, et al.) will be busy circling their CYA wagons, and either continue to ignore the story of Jones being forced out , or will try to spin it like a frisbee to blame conservatives.
Unfortunately for them, whatever they do will be too little, too late. The Jones incident has proven the OSMSM has reached bottom in relevancy, and there are trustworthy alternative souces of information available.
'When the money dries up………' as it will. The truth from them has dried up long ago.
The MSM should now be called the "Jonesers" for ignoring the facts of the entire story. The racist crap alone should have had him kicked to the curb. Imagine, lets say, Sarah Palin's 2nd cousin saying all this stuff?? There would be chartered flights to AK 24/7 by the MSM
no of the jerks vetted obama. We but we can make 1773 happen again
See, I don't think this is the end for the MSM. I do think it's a big mile-marker on their long road to irrelevance.
They've still got some fight left in them. They'll ignore breaking news if it hurts their dreamy man-crush Obama and dutifully report last week's stories with a left-handed curve. They'll still be able to twist some segments of public opinion if they push hard enough.
The problem for them is that as time goes on, the population that relies on them as their major source of news will inexorably shrink as people get fed up with the major media's incompetence and bias. The MSM blackout on Van Jones is yet another sign for the viewers-who actually want to know what is happening now-to rely on other sources.
I believe this may be a wake up call for the so called big time media. The alphabet news divisions can not afford
to let any more of the hated Big 3, to quote Mr. Sammybull, expose them, no embarrass them, for no longer being in the news business. Even Mr. Big of CBS, Sumner Redstone at some point is is going to question why he is paying the perky Ms Katie Couric 15 mil a year and 100 mil or whatever for the news division and being scooped by Beck and company, Mr Breitbart and Drudge, I would make a guess and could very well be wrong , but what the heck, they probably don't make 15 mill between them let along 115 mil. Times the economics by three and you see why the liberal media can only take so much liberalism. Even Soros has a ceiling on his bets.
they will never budge an inch no matter who scoops them. They have the ignorant as their viewers and their loyal masses keeping them going. Doesnt mean they will survive the BO era though.
The MSM have already "ingnored" themselves into irrelevancy, and it won't be all that long before they are financially bankrupt as well. I say good riddance.
Thing is that the MSM will not learn it's lesson. They still think they know better, they are right and we are to be led by our noses to the 'truth' by them.
Now "someone" at MSNBC (to steal a term from Bill O'Reilly) is going to dig dirt on Beck to get him fired.
If losing those advertisers didn't get Glenn fired, I doubt "someone" can!
[...] at Big Hollywood, Andrew Breitbart shines alight on the MSM’s collective failure on this [...]
Gateway Pundit deserves major credit also.
I heard one of the MSM pontificate on one of the Sunday shows that "the Internet was an open sewer" I agree, because it sure carried a lot of sh!t out of the White House today.
But does she pay her taxes? Of course not. Only poor saps like the rest of us do that.
Beck brought up a point friday. Either there was a breakdown at the FBI, and didn't tell President Obama about how radical this man is. Or Obama knew all about him.
Which scenario seems more likely?
How much do you want to be that the usual suspects (Olby, Mathews, McCafferty) will scream on how the FCC must police the Internet!
In the on deck circle is………Mark Lloyd.
That is a rhetorical question, isn't it?
Let's hope the American public sees this MSM/ Ignoring the Van Jones story like a Umpire.
MSM Ignoring Obama STEEEEEEEEEERIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEE ONE!!!
MSM Ignoring Van Jones STEEEEERIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEE TWO!!!
MSM Ignoring the next big story STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIKKKEEEEE THREE YOUR OUT!!!
This indecent illustrates why newspapers and Network Broadcast News are losing viewers and readers at a tremendous clip.
Here is a good Fox News clip discussing this issue…
http://motorcitytimes.com/mct/van-jones-and-the-m...
Yeah, but still has to be asked.
Another great column, Andrew.
All good points and I agree. I wanted to comment on the media paying attention to the customers (the public).
I worked in news radio in the Denver metro area for almost six years. No one saw the listeners as customers. No one I worked with cared for the listeners. The listeners didn't pay us to listen to us, they listened for free. TV and radio get money from the advertisers who purchase air time for commercials. Essentially, they are selling our attention span.
That's why journalists and the MSM in general doesn't care about us. We aren't the customers–we're the product.
What's wonderful is that "we" did it.
Well, you Mr. Brietbart and others like Glenn Beck.
With little, wait NO MSM attention, one of his staffers resigned.
Of course Jones was the worst of the worst, at least as bad as I can imagine would possible get in there, but who knows?
Maybe "we" should take down a Czar a Month?
Just as the administration held a press conference to state that they were "shocked" to hear of the release of the Lockerbie Bomber…..we know better….
Nah, Who's Who, here's a better idea for Beck's next target: Steven Chu. Who's Chu, you ask? He's not a communist, racist . anti-Semite or even a Truther (that I know of). He's not even a czar. He's SECRETARY of Energy! He's a distinguished professor (Berkeley, of course) and a Nobel Prize winner, just like Arafat and Gore. He's the guy who told a recent London symposium that the answer to global warming is painting every roof on Earth white. No, seriously. He added that it would be helpful if all roads were also light colored. "The effect would be the same as removing all cars on the road for 11 years." A true rocket surgeon if I've ever heard one. Beck needs to have fun with his next choice. Chu as an absurd example would get everyone laughing, and for a narcissist like Obambi, that's the the worst. (Y'all can thank me later).
What's so wonderful is that it was, it really was, the TRUTH. The truth is the big winner here.
This is one very small step, but make no mistake about it; the MSM is loaded with a bunch of arrogant, self-important, megalomaniacs who have no intention of letting anyone other than themselves determine what is newsworthy (and we all know what THAT is).
The Jones resignation is already gone from the Chicago Tribune, but the "silly" controversy over Obama's speech to kids is still there (been a couple of days now).
Better yet, the sub-headline under the original 'Jones Resigns' story was "Score one for Glen Beck, Sarah Palin, other Republicans targeting WH aide."
That's right, Palin.
Well, I first heard it on Glenn beck. Does that answer your question? =)
BTW – I LOVE Glenn.
The MSM was too busy interviewing the teenage ex-boyfriend of the daughter of an ex-Governor to find out what time she puts her pajamas on to look into it.
Well said, Andrew!
Yep, if we had had a watchdog media that was fairly vetting both candidates, we never would have had the likes of an Obama elected as President of the United States of America. I still haven't got my mind around the fact that we basically have an authoritarian as our president!
I suspect that after another big a**ed batch of folks go Van who? and discover that only the folks reading right blogs and watching FOX already knew all about it…
FOX will again bleed the competition white, as they hemorage the few remaining viewers they have.
Tell me Katie?
Was it worth it? Whoring out your integrity as a bought and sold commodity to the Obama campaign? But that's not fair is it,.. there was no whoring going on,..
you did it for free.
You gave away any claim to any status other than third rate hack at large.
Don't worry, the media is already providing cover for Obama on this story; Politico, for one, has an article on it basically reading, "Of course, no one is reasonably suggesting that Obama knew about or agrees with the statements of Van Jones, leaving troubling questions about the vetting process at the White House, even for the lower echelon personnel like Mr. Jones." Pravda, eat your heart out.
This is an outrage. What is their response?
Don't know,.. my friend, but maybe this will help,
My son was diagnosed ADHD a few months ago, and in tecourse of running the family history,. they told me, with nere certainty that I had it as well. Undignosed as they didn't do that in the sixties. I learned to adapt though, with a lot of effort, I developed ways to compensate on my own, catching up by the 3rd grade, reading at a college level by the 5th. An Honor graduate both in High School, and in USAF Basic Training, top 5 percent. IQ of 133,..
and I was undiagnosed, a problem child, that only my mother believed in.
she was enough.
I hope that helps, my life was nothing extra special, but it shows, even the lowest of us, can achieve, if someone believes.
Kudos to Mr. Beck, Mr. Breitbart, Mr. Drudge, and Gateway Pundit. It was an interesting comparative exercise that I did by comparing what the above mentioned non-MSM sources had in their arsenals as opposed to what was deliberately, (I believe), shelved or ignored by our national media lapdogs.Since I do not have cable TV, (alas no FOX News), I had to watch, and wait….and wait… and wait…for any mention of the Jones situation.I came to the conclusion that if we, the American people, need answers or information about this administration, get on the net, take some notes. If Brian, Katie, Charlie et. al. don't report on it , you can bet the "Powers That Be" are hiding something outright or they want nothing said about it….Transparency? Goodness, we' ll have none of that nonsense here!
Hope this story slaps the smug the Hell off her perky little chipmonk face.
Howard Deaniac set the tone on Sunday, he "was brought down" by harsh and mean politics in Washington. No mention that he was a truther, and ADMITTED communist, a racist of the first order who never met an innocent white person in his life. That it was his OWN words on tape and video that hung him, his very own words,.
But now, if we play your own words back at you, somehow, that's men, and a "smear" campaign. Guess they'll be tking down Youtube pretty soon, as that's where the loonies always end up imolating themselves.
Excellent commentary. But I have to throw out a warning after this event as I expect it to be the impetus for bringing the Fairness Doctrine to bear. Jones claimed he was smeared; Brokaw says vetting bloggers must be done, and I'm sure there are all sorts of buzz words being repeated by all the talking heads. The Libs are pissed and they're going to do something about it….
In a way I hope they do attempt to install a fairness doctrine or some form of censureship.
They will over over reach at some point and the libs in congress will suffer mightily.
At least one hopes.
That just shows that Dean is as far left as Jones. They are bird of the same feather.
Hey, Katie got a nice plaque and a testimonial dinner for her hatchet job on Sarah Palin….
You know- it's not so much that the MSM has changed in recent years, as that the rise of independent media has ripped the cover off what's been going on all along.
The real power of MSM propaganda has never been so much writing stories with a particular slant (although they've certainly done that)- but rather not writing the stories at all. Before Rush and then the Net, the MSM's leaders, really fewer than about 100 people in DC and Manhattan, decided which issues would ever be issues at all, as far as the public knew. It's not like Duranty tried to excuse Stalin's famines: he simply pretended they didn't exist. In similar vein, did anyone notice how the homeless 'crisis' suddenly dropped off the radar when Clinton took office? Out of sight, out of mind. Nothing to see here, people; move along.
One wonders what else our 'guardians of liberty' never told us about.
But now that every citizen with an internet connection is a broadcaster, the Fourth Estate Fifth Column has now lost its oligopoly over information: Mintruth is breaking down.
Hallelujah! The mainstream media has shot it's self in the foot. It's going to be fun watching them go down in flames when the money runs out. Glenn Beck is going after all of Czars.
Wouldn't it be funny if Rush Limbaugh bought one of the big three stations?
GO FOR IT RUSH!
The MSM is credibility-challenged.
Love it. And more to come.
Vetting? We don't need no stinking vetting!
This is a small win! Until Valerie Jarrett and ALL her CZAR appointees are out of the White House she will just install another one with the same Progressive mindset.
Didn't mean to exclude Mr. Hoft. Make that "The Big 4". Hoft is a one man wrecking crew against Obama administration stupidity.
What if congress passed a law, and noboby paid any attention to it, because no one gave a shit. This nation has one thing no other nation has had in recorded history. More guns. Think about it.
Andrew, Couric is irrelevant, period. Does she have less or more viewers than Olby, who has called for an all out witch hunt on Beck? Real mainstream journalism died in 2008. But, thank you Andrew, for carrying the torch.
As sure as the unions would rather see an industry that made them very rich go belly up than show a profit, the MSM would rather become irrelevent than report objectively on their chosen few. What we are witnessing are the death throes of the old MSM. Fox, Drudge and Breitbart are the future of news media. Even the liberals know if they want to know what is really happening, the old MSM is the last place to go.
Agree with your point, I think the reason Fox News, or the other two, would keep SOBama awake, its that they don't worship him. Zippy SOBama does not appear, to me, able to handle criticism well. That's why he was whining about them, Fox News, a week or so ago. He seems to ignore the fawning media and focuses on the fair and balanced reporting, which does not put him in to a very good light always.
Chartered flights!!?? They would build an airport, NObama stimulus, and open up full-time bureaus in Wasilla.
Ogreman is after Glenn Beck now LOL I usually dont wish bad things on people but…
That's right… and I'm always amazed at their obstinance. The MSM could save itself by turning to more fair and balanced coverage. In fact I think it's the only thing that can save them. But they are so bull-headed that they will drive their companies into the ground before they admit that they were ever wrong. They just can't give up on the power.
Katie Communist agrees with the Van Jones' of the world. Why would she think that his ideas were news worthy unless it was a point of praise?
I have often thought – a truly honest and good press ought to make everyone mad from time to time in its coverage – make the left and right mad – but they would have the respect of the majority of American people. And a "Professional" journalist would go whether the story took him – not spike stories that "offend" their political "sensibilities".
Amazing that for so much of the news about Clinton when President we had to turn to the UK papers (thank God for the Internet!!!)
I think when the NYT goes bankrupt we ought to have a party. I will be sad, for what she once was and sad for what she could have been, but rejoice in the end of such biased coverage.
Borrowed, I admit:
Van Jones: "I am a communist."
Conservatives: "Van Jones is a communist."
Dems and MSM: AAAAAAAAAAH! RIGHT-WING SMEAR CAMPAIGN!
Looking over these comments, evidently the Liberals are in the deep grass. Don't be afraid guys…now is a perfect time to explain to us again why you voted for Obama and what a great job he's doing.
I agree. I see this as a big win for "alternative" media. I found out about this story through two sources:
First, through emails and blogs.
Second, through Fox News.
All along, I knew the "mainstream" wasn't covering it. I wondered if the MSM really had the power to ignore something such as this. When I saw that he resigned, I was very pleased. Not only is a racist radical out of a job, but it happened without the MSM's blessing.
Now I know for sure that the MSM is on the way out.
"What are you waiting for, Katie Couric?"
The teleprompter…to tell her what to say next.
Isn't this the same non-MSM approach that cost Trent Lott his committee leadership in 2002? (His poorly phrased praise of Strom Thurmond went initially unremarked by the MSM, as I recall) Also George Allen's "macaca" moment in 2006 appeared online first and gained momentum from there, didn't it? This isn't the first (and certainly won't be the last) case of citizen journalism trumping the industry. I would hazard that it's not a new phenomenon at all, it just moves even faster now. I truly pity anyone running for any sort of public office these days…I have of course lived a completely blameless life, but I cringe at the thought of things I mouthed off about years ago ever seeing the light of day.
Ohh, Katie does love her Red. Red politics, red dress. And now she's going to have a red face.
That will be so convenient as the colors won't clash with that sea of red ink she and the whole damned MSM will be drowning in shortly.
It will be so great when all these liberal "reporters" finally start getting what's coming to them: and that's the truth about their beloved Obama. The fact that he's a radical socialist and surrounds himself with his own ilk. The liberal media is heading for a judgement day and it can't happen soon enough.
Well, hon – the reason the Messiah didn't hear about Van Jones was because the Messiah didn't have enough TIME! You know – like 20 years. Sitting in the same pew every Sunday.
[...] from: Couric Should Look in Mirror This entry is filed under America – Blogs, Big Hollywood. You can follow any responses to this [...]
I will thank you in advance…I hope Beck runs with it…..WILL BE SUCH FUN TO WATCH the hysterical nationwide laughter.
I like it. Call it the Bork of the Month Club.
(Hey, the Dems invented it…..)
Spot on Andrew I have asked these questions over and over again. The MSM knows all the dirt and their actions are contemptible; The questions is: How complicit are their actions? Is it a clear and present danger to the republic? Can they be charged with treason for their silence or their out right dishonesty. Why no FBI ? Who is really pulling all these strings? Hmmm….. How do these people sleep at night? Their hatred for this country defies logic
When it comes to Couric and others in the state run media I'm reminded of the Mark Knophler song "Money for Nothin". Andrew is spot on in saying that the money's going to run out and when it does there better be no talk of bailouts for these elitist snake oil salesmen. Just give em "end of life counseling" instead.
I think we will look back and see this as the last straw that brought down the MSM. Bloggers, social media and FOX news, vetted a story, brought it to the public and forced a party with one of the largest voting blocs in the history of the Congress to do something it did not want to do, fire Van Jones. All without the help and perhaps at the determent of the MSM. Pat yourself on the back, we deserve it.
ABC, NBC, CBS, the New York Times are irrelevant. The big three news sources Fox News, Breitbart and Drudge took Van Jones out at the knees by simply reporting the truth. "The Big 3" gives the Obama administration many a sleepless night.
"Who vetted this guy?" Good question A.B., you have no doubt seen Tom Brokaw's comment deriding the very people who were necessary to ferret out this uber-radical/communist *rich guy* with a Yale degree because network news and the big newspapers aren't doing their JOBS…Tom the liberal shill said:
"“You have to vet information, you have to test…” speaking about the bloggers doing the work of the Main Stream Media. So, we should *vet* the bloggers but the W.H. doesn't have to vet their radicals…What nerve….
Commas are, not your friend.
If we had a frank ,incorruptible, honest press in this Country instead of what resembles at times an elitist 5th column. Half the ills in the U.S. might be solved and the politico's on both sides of the aisle would walk the line for fear of the People instead of the People having fear and mistrust of their Government. Your right Mr. Andrew The People have had it. You say they'll take up pitch-forks. Let's hope it's not Fixed Bayonets. Great Article Thanks.
Wait a minute. Van Jones wasn't fired. He resigned for the good of the administration so they wouldn't be distracted by all these unfair attacks on him.
I just heard that while watching the MSM.
Never mind.
Jarret led a big cheer for V Jones (along with Pelosi) for this man. Seems this would be a great start to question the credibility of those doing the vetting.. Jarret would be that person.
By the way, do you folks know, the KOMO people are trolling through your site? They were mad when a few from our site went visiting.. Drop in, you would be welcomed at http://912communique.ning.com/page/3397719:Page:5...
We have a fairly large group there who would welcome you.
What's wonderful is that "we" did it.
Well, you Mr. Brietbart and others like Glenn Beck.
With little, wait NO MSM attention, one of his staffers resigned.
Of course Jones was the worst of the worst, at least as bad as I can imagine could possibly get in there, but who knows?
Maybe "we" should take down a Czar a Month?
"Wouldn't it be funny if Rush Limbaugh bought one of the big three stations?"
I was thinking more along the lines of purchasing the NY Times. Of course you know he couldn't resist writing some of the editorials. Were that the case, I'd buy that paper every day.
One can only hope that not too much damage is done before the grown ups take over.
And don't you think if the FCC tries anything to kill talk radio, that Rush would sue their pants off and keep them in court for the better part of a decade?
I mean he's got the bankroll for it.
This whole Jones fiasco only proves how insignificant the lamestream media really is. Time to run 'em out of business and run 'em out of town. TaTa little Katie.
Van Jones: story ignored.
Rezko: story ignored.
Jeremiah Wright: story ignored.
Bill Ayers: story ignored.
Monica Lewinksy: story ignored. (every major news org passed on it before Drudge ran it)
hell remember JFK's womanizing… the press gave him a pass that they never would have given say… oh I dunno… Nixon!
I think it's time Americans start calling these companies and asking why they didn't report anything on Van Jones.
Put the pressure on them America!!
Great Article but I am sure the cheerleaders, uh er I mean reporters will not listen. Journalism in the mainstream media is dead. If you want real journalism and reporting you have to go to other sources. And yes Glen Beck is doing some great reporting on Acorn, the Appolo Project, etc. any reporter worth his salt would be salivating over such a story if it was about the right.
LOL, yeah him and his 15 followers, while Glen's audience of millions has been building steadily, Hmm didn't all this come to head about Van Jones after he and his org. "Color of Change" went after Glen. Ah well one good turn deserves another. So glad Glen is doing all this reporting for a "Commentator" he is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Ogerman ehat a joke couldn't agree with you more SuperCat, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
But they don't feel embarrassed. They are taking the same line that Jones is… even with VIDEO, we are lying, and/or taking things out of context. How you take the man's signature on a Truther petition out of context I have no idea, but somehow we've done it. The way the MSM sees it, they didn't miss the story, they just didn't want to report lies. They are protecting us from ourselves and the open sewer of disinformation on the internet. They are not embarrassed and feel as if they have done their jobs. It is amazing to me how they and the libs just get smacked in the face with facts hard enough to leave a mark and still deny they are facts…..and expect us to go "oh, I see…." and just forget the fact that we know the facts!
Things are gonna get good Beck is going after these czar people one at a time and there's nothing the MSM can do about it..THAT is what is pissing them off. They don't know how to be embarrassed.
Ha! Beautiful.
Excellent article Andrew! I couldn't agree more. The Van Jones story is a huge victory for New Media and the News. I wonder if anyone who was on top of this story will get an award?
Great article Andrew, and once again points out the thin veneer of our politicians, the MSM in general, put them under scrutiny and they evaporate. Stay vigilant people, an adversary is most dangerous when it’s wounded.
Great piece, Mr.Breitbart. It's good to see such honesty in the media, which is rare.
The MSM is first and foremost responsible for the condition of this country today. The fawned over Obama during the campaign and they remain Obama's mouthpiece today. They do not do any investigative reporting, they merely read what Obama and the WH put out. There are so many serious stories and issues surrounding this administration and not one of them gets correctly reported to the American citizens if even reported at all. When you try and discuss political issues with someone who only listens to ABC or CNN they look at you like you have three heads because they don't have the whole story. The MSM is a disgrace. Some day there will be a reckoning for these people.
Excellent idea!
