Big Hollywood Crew Joins Tea Party Protest
by Andrew BreitbartI’ve just come back from the Orange County Tea Party where Big Hollywood contributors Gary Graham, Orson Bean and I addressed the crowd. It was a breathtaking experience with upwards of 2,000 people in attendance who were, much to the media’s disappointment, civil and and well behaved. This was the ultimate middle-class-Costco-shopper protest…not the work of wealthy millionaires like scaredy-cat Nancy Pelosi would like you to think. There were no scary skeleton costumes, no Subcomandante Marcos banana-republic-revolutionary vibe, just a diverse crowd of everyday Americans, Democrats and Republicans, gathered to push back an arrogant and increasingly oppressive government.
Yet CNN Correspondent Susan Roesgen (a reporter, not a commentator), came into the Chicago rally with a clear agenda to use code words to harass and harangue peaceful protestors:
What a pathetic display. Susan Roesgen is the devil and if she’s not fired for her mean-spirited display, CNN deserves to fall deeper than 4th place in the cable news rating.
The subtext of my speech–which we intend to post here once we have the video–was that the media is the problem because they ignore and marginalize these tea parties and those Americans who have made them such a success, and I can offer no better evidence than that video of Susan Roesgen, which I saw afterward.
Three short months ago “dissent is patriotic” was the rallying cry of the media and the left. Now they’re the enforcers of government mandated conformity. Pathetic.

Why is that vile little troll like woman from CNN calling a tax protest "anti government"?
If it were possible for CNN to fall into 20th place, that's too high for them. MSNBC should be down there with them. They are an embarrassment to hacks and frauds everywhere.
Because she's from CNN. The thing speaks for itself.
Yeah, if Fox is right wing then CNN is clearly the state TV news apparatus, how sad. If you work for CNN realize you are not a journalist. BTW – I went to a tea party and heard nothing from Fox before I went and the tea party I went to had nothing to do with Fox. She's clearly jealous over their better ratings.
Gee a discussion of Abraham Lincoln wanting Americans to have freedom is no longer fit for "Family TV" but Tea Bagging is… Hmmmm…. is the Manson family their target audience.
Next thing they'll tell us the emancipation proclomation was a mistake. From now on at protests whenever anyone from CNN interviews us we just recite the Emancipation PRoclamation to the reporter. Don;t say Hi, don;t give them any other sound byte. Just recite Linclon's Speeches to them. I guess it does not matter which one but the Emancipation Proclamation is a good one.
And they wonder why nobody watches their pathetic little networks any more – they insult and demean half the country, then they should expect to be turned off in droves.
This is what you get when the media goes full retard. Who needs them?
All three of my kids have gone to the Tea Parties in their areas. And my oldest daughter is a Democrat. Their spouses went as well, and my daughter in law is also a Democrat, and she's the angriest anti-taxer of the bunch. I guess protest is genetic and they got it from me. Even though I have yet to make it to one of the rallies, my kids have, and without any prompting from me. To hell with CNN.
I saw the video clip on The O'Reilly Factor. I was outraged! I could hardly believe what I saw… then I remembered CNN… Of course! It was an epiphany. "Let's try to up our ratings by acting like Bill Maher or Jon Stewart." Yeah, Americans are smarter than that. I wonder why Fox News ratings are up… They aren't willing to play off a peaceful protest as "Right-Wing Conspiracy" and "a threat for Right-Wing instigated terror." This is why newspapers, like the New York Times, are failing: they aren't willing to report the actual news. Plus they make the honest citizens reading them feel like they are nuts who are instigating riots. Who wants to read that rubbish? I say this: No taxation without PROPER representation! HEY NEWSWEEK, PUT THAT ON YOUR COVER!
I am boiling mad after watching that video. That woman is NOT a journalist, NOT a reporter, but someone who clearly had her own agenda and wanted to force it on others instead of REPORTING the news. Disgusting.
Family viewing thru the labored teabag innuendo , nudge nudge wink wink .
Thanks alot CNN for clearly marking the limits of what really is family viewing and you ain't it !!
Wow. What a reporter. Can't you just feel the neutrality vibe? Thanks, Breitbart. I love the Big Hollywood blog.
the US media is corporatized…..especially the turkey neck creeps on FAUX News masquerading as "cultural warriors"…turkey-necked Billdo Lielly paid MILLIONS IN A SEXUAL HARASSMENT SUIT to silence his victim (the transcript of his call is SO DISTURBING, describes his perverted thoughts and actions)…Dickie Morris is a bloated PERV who was fired by the Clintons after he was busted hiring hookers to SUCK ON THEIR TOES! Newtster whores around on all his wives while they are hospitalized and pays no childsupport…..the 4th estate in the US is dead and I'm stuck with Thomas Jefferson's maxim: "I would rather live in a country without government than a country without newapapers." Remember the deficits ballooned $2TRILLION under Ronnie Raygun, $1 Trillion under Bush I, $500 billion under Clinton (BUT HE GOT A BLOWJOB!, and $5.5 Trillion under dick cheney's administration…you sheeple are laughable ignoramuses.
"Amerikkans" made your bed, so sleep in it….BOW DOWN to your corporate warlords and the military-industrial complex, you sold your souls for tax cuts for the rich…you all whored your vote out to the corporate warmaking machine….fools
If had been there and saw that two bit hack from CNN carrying on like that I would have pelted her with soggy teabags live on air until she went away.
What the hell was that?!! Journalism? Not.
Nice little jokey back and forth about "teabagging" between David "I'm a goggle eyed melon head" Gergen and Anderson "No stranger to teabagging, I'm sure" Cooper. For God's sakes. Do they actually have to have meetings at CNN where they discuss where their ratings have gone? I mean really. TEABAGGING????? Oh, tee hee, tee hee hee. Real mature CNN. Why don't you try acting like a real network for a change? As for that bubble skull, Susan Roesgan, "Hey you dumb broad, you're late for your appointment to get Liberal Media Elitist tattooed on your forehead."
Funny how it was cool at CNN to be "anti-government" last year, but this year it's an inconceivable sin.
Our trolls need them.
You're kidding, right? Your post is surely a parody, right? Or are you really the guy with the grim reaper costume and the skull mask that I see at every commie protest where a Starbucks gets burned down.
I don't know how the libs even know what "teabagging" is. None of the leftist males I know have a set.
It's truly mind boggling. First we have Anderson Cooper and his family-friendly usage of "teabagging" and then a "reporter" declaring that an anti-tax demonstration is not suitable for family viewing. These people are vile. That's the only word to describe them. The only thing that keeps me from losing it is seeing the panic in their eyes as they try to diminish these protests as they're occurring less than 3 months into Obama's presidency.
I am so sick of this.
Why does the media never ask whether or not the idiots who protest the G20 or who try to shout down conservative speakers are angry leftists? Why don't they worry about potential violence in left wing protests? Why are groups like violent animal-rights idiots or environmental groups like ELF never labelled as "left wing terrorists."
WOW you are an idiot….don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back…I don't take joy at profitting from death and destruction "Funeral Guy"…you republipunks got us in this mess…where was your voice of "dissent" during the 8 years of rampant deficiti spending, waging of an illegal war of aggression, and the raping of the US COnstitution (1400 signing statements by chimpie and dickie saying they did not have to obey laws passed by Congress compared to the 700 signed by ALL previous administrations)..your ignorant ilk disgust and repulse me you bootlicking brown shirt LOSER
What a glittering jewel of colossal ignorance. I suppose those little love fests of the anti war movement turning cars over and breaking store windows isn't anti government. For a net work representative to call out the competitor is so juvenile and amateurish is to be laughable. Whatever happened to asking a question and getting an answer? I thought that's what 'journalists' did. It used to be called freedom of the press. Today it's the 'state press' and there's nothing free about it. We are in truly perilous times. I fear for my children and my grandson.
True. Fox News was nowhere to be found at the Piscataway, NJ Tea Party. In fact, the only media there was a local radio station (not talk radio). It certainly wasn't a bunch of rich people in Mercedes' and Bentleys showing up; very regular people. I don't know where the meme that this is "astroturf" funded by rich people came from, except that it must be projection from the left (their protests are largely funded by the unions and well-funded left-wing groups).
Because they have the media on their side. We've hit the point where the hippies of the 60's have become the establishment and they pretty much control the education system and the media. I think rational-minded people brushed them off as kooks and underestimated the influence the would have on the next generation. We can't make that mistake anymore.
are you referring to fox or cnn? your argument easily goes both ways.
She''s lecturing him on the fact that IL is getting $50 billion in "stimulus". Does she think this money is just gonna fall from the sky??? I'm sure she thinks he's sooo ungrateful.
"Gee a discussion of Abraham Lincoln wanting Americans to have freedom is no longer fit for "Family TV" but Tea Bagging is… "
Exactly what I thought.
You have seen nothing yet. If you CNN think the words of Lincoln are not appropriate for family TV wait until we pull out a copy of the Constitution.
CNN of course. Fox doesn't insult their audience, any portion of it.
The last thing these media types want is middle America speaking up for itself.
agreed – i watched that segment and felt what i believe was my absolute limit with the MSM. i was completely disgusted. if she had shown that kind of blatant contempt for the unwashed, professional grievance mongers out and about during the war protests, she wouldn't have made it back to the newsvan before she was fired.
Very correct, and they immune from reality, from facts, and from logic, and they do not tolerate even a hint of honest discussion. Moreover, they are ignorant, they are shameless, they are arrogant, and they are hypocrits of the highest order. And that's about the nicest I can be about these idiots.
typical…can't win with logic or stick to the topic at hand, so you just start calling people names. stay classy, ltrain!
That is a great point. The right isn't known for protesting anything … it's just not part of its handbook. Yet in three month's time they've re-written the handbook and started showing up en masse across the country.
I'm so frustrated right now. Is she for real? The guy was providing a well-informed answer in a civil manner, and that's not "family TV"? But Anderson Cooper's "teabagging" comment is? What the hell?!

Irony, waffling and hypocrisy are taught as part of the curriculum at CNN school.
I'm honestly stunned with a lot of what I hear coming out of the mouths of these democratic idiots that appear on television these days. Their understanding of economics is so incredibly wrong that it's breathtaking in its shear stupidity. They might as well assert that elves put money into our pockets at night while we sleep. At least that could make sense.
Yet, no matter how stupid these Obamatrons are, the reporters interviewing them always seem to one-up them when it comes to ignorance. Truly stunning.
But apparently not journalism. I would fire this women before she returned to the office. Not even for political reasons, just because she clearly has no idea how to do her job.
See, the only reason you would say that is because you're an idiot. You might want to have someone look into that. There is a cure.
Speaking of full retard.
Careful now you all…if you express your First Amendment right to far to the right you are being HATEFUL !!!
The caption about the reporter being "Harassed is too funny……
As a tax payer I am feeling that I am being harassed every time I open my paycheck………….
Taxation without representation started a war once….“Taxation with representation ain't so hot either.”
Ever heard of nuticals? They sell them for dogs and leftists.
You hit the nail on the head. Our whole culture as it is is actually the failure of the 1960's draft dodging laws that allowed people to avoid service by staying in school. Now these draft dodgers are running the entire show. Do you understand what a college professor really is? (S)he's a kindergartner who never left school. Think about it. Went to school at 5 years old and never left. They have absolutely no idea of the real world. None. Just there 5 year old minds imagination of what it should be.
I live in California so I'm well acquainted with the idiots you speak of. To be honest, I'm just tired. I'm tired of seeing this crap in my face under the guise of "journalism." When did yellow journalism make a comeback? And when did the masses decided to legitimize it? I've never been an activist type, but this kind of stuff is just the motivator to make me get really loud and angry.
Beautiful apps for the iPhone (and it's free!!): Constitution, Declaration of Independence and – this is the best – USA Manual. it has the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, Federalist Papers, List of Presidents, List of States (for presidents who forget), Supreme Court Justices, Supreme Court Cases, U.S. Flag and numerous documents from the Articles of Confederation to the Patriot Act.
If you have an iPhone and want to be informed, I advise checking out these applications.
I'm thinking someone went off his meds ….
You might want to investigate the this new fangled spellchecker thing they've come out with … handy.
That woman should be fired.
Completely UNPROFESSIONAL!
I'm sick of it too. But I'm even more frustrated that Republicans just accept this as the normal state of affairs. They don't even seem to understand that they should be fighting this, much less who they should be fighting or how to fight them. If they can't do this, then they need to step aside and let someone who will fight back take over.
Very reasoned reply, LTrain. I don't mind you calling me names, but I wish you would show a little more respect to former President Bush. I believe the correct term in the lefty style book is to use his full name of Chimpie McHitler (Please capitalize in future.)
A friend of mine pointed out that the MSM created Obama and has a financial interest in the continued adulation to sell their papers and get viewers. I don't disagree but think it is greater than that. They are personally vested. Their egos are on the line and they cannot fathom why the mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging rubes aren't falling into line and accepting the proclamations of the Fourth Estate as gospel. You can practically see the spittle flying out of Susie-Q's gaping maw. Even setting aside that journalists should keep their basis out of sight, this level of invective isn't about ideological differences. She's irrelevant, she knows it and cannot tolerate it.
Absolutely correct. What do you think the chances of that happening are?
Wow! Her comments almost make her seem as if she's working for the government… or this administration. Coming after someone who protests a trillion dollars of taxes being levied upon him without his consent. In what bizarro world have we been transported to?
I am very angry myself. That was horrilbe reporting, and was completely biased! >:(
Um…..Ltrain? just how many comprise an "ilk"? Just askin'
Hi, Andrew..it's "Z"! The People's Republic of Santa Monica gathering was fairly well attended for The People's Republic, but we had to get there late, it was just breaking up and we only drove by and honked, I hate to admit. My favorite part of the CNN video is her saying "But, you get FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS!" I guess the moral of that story is "Who needs CHARACTER and PRINCIPLES when you're going to be given FOUR HUNDRED BUCKS, huh?" geeeeZ

Ah … but the leftist females do (e.g. Margaret Cho, Janeane Garafalo, Sandra Bernhard)

I don't recall ever seeing any "reporter" engage in a "debate" while reporting. I'm sure it's happened but I just can't think of an incident. Truly an amazing piece of "journalism." So glad to see such objective reporting. Since I seldom watch CNN thanks Andrew for linking this.
You missed one of the k's in Amerikkka. Please write your love letters more carefully.
Donna, the left calls 'em "strap-ons". They're available in the Earl Grey, Pekoe, and Oooooooh-long models. Most of the lefty-castrati don't leave home without 'em.
Those who can, do.
Those who can't, teach.
Those who can't teach, run for Congress.
oppressive government? give me a break. Hysterical nonsense every bit as idiotic as the Bush-is-a-Nazi crowd. Enforcers of government mandated conformity? How so? Give me some examples of how the big bad Stalinist Obama regime is forcing you to conform. For 8 years you guys were all about expanding executive powers but now it is the dawning of a totalitarian America. You brought this on yourselves. Careful what you wish for.
My sister was a petulant, clique chasing little cheerleader. I'm used to the catty, sneery attitude of the subpar attempting to stand out.
Liberals are always trying to relive their glory days in High School. It suits their emotional development.
That high?
Seriously, this woman could not be more moronic. CNN has reached it's nadir and not a minute too soon.
I'm an optimist.
I'm waiting to see how they're going to work Ben-Wa balls into the intellectual discussions at CNN. And no, that isn't a Chinese STD.
For serious! Where the h*ll was the objectivity on that one! She asked the guy a question, and when he had a point to make, she cut him off and told him he was wrong! That wasn't journalism, that was a rare insight into the hatcheting process they normally call "editing". Someone please kick this lady in the groin.
We (conservatives) can no longer be surprised, shocked, or otherwise amazed at how "journalism" no longer holds to the well known practices and standards of years gone by. The large majority of the MSM is now a fully functioning arm of the extremist liberal wing of the Democratic Party. They are bought and paid for, but not with money, with the hopes of Pulitzers, and party invitations to the soirees in the salons of DC, NYC, SF, etc.
We AmeriCONS, to coin a phrase, need to jump down the throats of our RINO representatives first and foremost, from local town council right up to US Representative and Senator, and straighten their sorry asses out. Second navigate to HuffPo, Daily Kos, MoveOn, etc. sign up and firmly, with reason and erudition make our voices heard. Third, not everyone gets to be a Nielsen family, so call, e-mail or otherwise contact your local cable company and tell them to remove CNN, MSNBC et.al. from their service. They're not going to do that of course, but if enough voices rise in complaint against these networks, the cable companies will use such information about dissatisfied customers against these networks and these networks won't be able to charge as much for their broadcast rights. Hit 'em in their folking pocketbooks.
I love BH, I really do. But AmeriCONS can, should and will do a whole lot more with our keyboards, beyond these hallowed pixels. And we also need to come up with another historical precedent (for naming purposes) for more protests on July 4, 2009. Same idea as the Tea Party but taken from another event in US history. Let's put our heads together.
$5.5 trillion under Bush. Uh-huh. Where do you get your facts, the Daily Worker? But of course: "BOW DOWN to your corporate warlords and the military-industrial complex, you sold your souls for tax cuts for the rich…you all whored your vote out to the corporate warmaking machine" Wonder where that sort of deranged, spittle-flecked rhetoric comes from?
Hippie douche.
She'll probably get the next Cronkite Award.
She asks "Why are you here today sir?"
The guy starts his answer referencing Lincoln.
She cuts him off and asks "what's that got to do with taxes?" Fair question.
But then won't let the guy answer and begins to lecture him with with "Did you know…"
In that second she's crossed the line from reporter to commentator and is trying to commandeer the interview.
Look out Katie, Suzy wants your trophy.
The Homeland Security department is tracking all of our irate "chatter" right now. But it's okay, tapping and spying on domestic citizens was only something Bush did, but now that Obama's doing it, it's okay.

That is why I am now saying "No taxation without PROPER representation!" Now what is proper? That is the question, but maybe term limits is a start.
I'm disgusted by the comments, but not surprised. I strongly suspect those in the media do not view it as hypocrisy to castigate right-wingers but not left-wingers, because to their way of thinking, liberals can do no wrong, or even if they do, their hearts are in the right place. Therefore, they deserve to hold power, and hold a great deal of it, but if that power falls into the hands of conservatives, then it is repressive and tyrannical because they do not have America's best interests at heart. This would explain why the media does not at all see a double standard in excusing extremism on one side but not the other, or painting one side as extremist but not the other.
why is it every troll insists on CAPITALIZING EVERY FALSE ACCUSATION? My guess is a short attention span. The funniest part of this post is the constant harping on "perversion", and then deriding people for disliking the fact that Clinton was fond of blow-jobs from his office staffers. But they just never get it wasn't the sex, it was the lie under oath.
So, as for the rest of this anarchist twaddle, let's flag it under comedy and move on.
To quote the late Jack Buck, "I don't believe what I just saw." If there is a positive side to this, it's that at least the jig of "journalisitic objectivity" is finally up. True, it only existed in the minds of self-righteous, self-deluded media types to begin with, but here it is, raw and exposed in all itsmanipulative ugliness for all to see. A network "reporter" harassing and haranguing a private citizen. Frightening and depressing. Thank God for Fox News.
I've seen less hostility in a combat zone. "What does Lincoln have to do with taxation?" Duh! This twinkie tried to make that guy look moronic, then her other brilliant comment " but, we're getting 50 billion here in Illionois from the stimulus." To cut to the chase, how can we start to return to sanity, when were faced with the core problem – money and greed. As long as they're getting theres', screw the taxpayer.
But when John Q Public started making sense, she ran the other way, back to the other guttersnipe in the studio. Yeah, it looks like Ted Turner still has his insane influence on the hiring process. Journalism is dead.
I hope all of this wakes people up to what is really going on. So many people don't even watch the news anymore. All they care about is their own little world. They only care about watching American Idol and CSI. When you try to tell them what is going on they don't want to hear it. I just hope they all don't wake up when it is too late, when the damage to the USA is done and can never be fixed!
It makes you wonder if these people, especially the news division managers, ever actually look at what they do on camera. When they do, it's probably for nothing more than a hair/make up critique.
Didn't you know? WHEN SOMETHING IS IN CAPITALS IT IS AUTOMATICALLY TRUE! IT'S MAGIC!!!
I would have said "Grand Inquisitor" instead of commentator. So of course the man couldn't respond, since nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition (Sorry, Monty P.).
I'm skeptical about how much good the Tea Parties can do. I just watched Newt Gingrich on FOX totally drop the ball when Sean Hannity asked him the leading question, "Is this a battle between Capitalism and Socialism?" Instead Newt said it was a battle between families and power-grabbing politicians. And he's not talking about making major cuts in government spending and taxes; he's talking about rolling back tax increases. The alternative we were then offered on FOX is the so-called "Fair Tax," which they described as paying 23% of all retail spending. 23%!!! That's fair?! Hannity also made sure to point out that the protesters were not doing this for themselves, but they were doing it for their children and grandchildren. Ridiculous.
What can we do to make sure that the result of all this work is not more "business as usual"? Not more "socialism lite," Republican style? People need to wake up and realize that this is a battle between capitalism and socialism and, more fundamentally, a battle between selfishness (rational self-interest) and altruism. If people don't attack big government in a principled, fundamental way, I fear we will fail.
Sorry for my rant, but I am fed up, and I am afraid all this work will be for naught.
I guess we could also see how far you guys can get into Too Much Information territory without triggering the filters.
Fetch… "the comfy chair"!
I note with sardonic interest that CNN's site doesn't have a contact link to its ombudsmn, so that there's nowhere to complain about this "reporter's" abominable breach of journalistic ethics.
She should never work in news again. Maybe she can get work as Cooper's teabagging partner.
Could we have a little boycott here? Why is that so hard? And don't get all poncy and prickly about how unfair it all is. Make a list of CNN's and MSNBC's sponsors and let them know you ain't buyin'. With the economy the way it is, they may think twice about an ad buy with companies who's anchors are ball-polishing Democrat dicklickers.
So change blogs. If we repulse you, why do you come here? You aren't going to change our minds with your mindless, illogical, nonsensicle rants and pernicious name calling. So go away. But in the process of leaving, be blessed, be well, seek wisdom, seek Jesus. Hell is someplace you don't want to spend for an eternity. Nothing but love for you.
Is that how it works? Coooool.
"Maybe she can get work as Cooper's teabagging partner. "
Or as an Obama teleprompter programmer. Not a lot of difference.

Or as an Obama teleprompter programmer. Not a lot of difference.
We've been fighting the filter for so long over things that should never have been filtered in the first place that we can't help ourselves. We're like little kids saying "poo poo" in front of mom and dad to see if they'll tell us to stop.
Let's face it: we're dealing with children here. Whiney, spoiled, whimpy little children who are so used to having things handed to them like the car keys, or their Air Jordans, or their pink colored Razors that the thought of someone actually desiring to think, work, and save for themselves is totally alien to them. And I guess in there little bitty gimme gimme minds, the thought of self-determination could be construed as Anti-American. Children!
I think we tried that last night. But now that you mention it. What does it mean to [CENSORED BY HOMELAND SECURITY].
I'm too tired too respond in my usual calm and kool manner. (After standing for 4 hours today at the Sacratomato Tea Party.)
But, I have to ask…Che…baby…is that you?
Not Over.
Must be pretty lonely in your mom's basement. Maybe you should ask her to run out and get some more foil to wrap around your head. And I love the phrase "war of aggression". As opposed to wars of passivity? Wars of cooperation? You do realize you are a prime example of the archetypal loser in this country? A failure who has no talent and blames the "man", the "system", "corporate masters", "military-industrial complex" for his own inadequacies. A pathetic little non-entity who channels his impotent rage via leftist politics. Well, if it makes you feel better that is something I guess. The same way a screaming monkey who flings his excrement must feel a sense of purpose as well.

She told the guy he was getting 400 dollars like he was a bum living under a bridge. Oh Boy! 400 bucks Thank you "Dear Leader"
Gimme a Break! The guy was in my hometown Chicago. Four hundred dollars gets you a friggin' parking space for "almost" a month! Thanks for nothing Barry!
Major … I think I fell a little bit in love with you just now.
Charge of the Light Brigade?
MOON LANDING!
I guess WORLD WAR III might get the left a little overly sensitive, huh!?
I would have been there too if I could have. Glad to see you represented our area.
If you're innocent, you have nothing to fear. Now tell us about this Abraham Lincoln person. Wait. No. You're guilty. Bring the kindling and the torches.

I haven't seen that much biased interviewing since the Scud Slut Christine Amanpour was running interference for Saddam Hussein (he was the other Hussein).
That microphone-holding woman clearly was auditioning for a guest spot on Maher's show or guest host for John Lebowitz Stewart's show
Thanks for going and standing up for what's right Andrew! You and the rest of the proud Americans who were able to attend.
Par for the course, but I was laughing at this idiot. Hopefully it just escalates, and these people stay away from now on. Nobody needs PRAVDA reporting actual news. Let them stick to brown-nosing Maobama 24 hours a day. I'm sure they can start giving the libtards field reports on Michelle's morning bowel movements. Disgusting, self righteous pigs. A pox on all their houses.
I'm going to try that in my next Answer to Criminal Complaint. First Affirmative Defense: My client is INNOCENT ! ! ! ! Second Affirmative Defense: Opposing counsel is STOOPID ! ! ! !
Nice Job Today in Santa Ana! Seeing the power of the people..awesome! A new acorn has fallen off the tree..it's the opposite.."National RATIONAL Organization of Concerned Americans"….stayed tuned! Door to door we shall alert the citizens of tyranny.
The fact that it IS only 3 months into this nitwits presidency is probably scaring the holy buhjeebers out of these clowns. YAY!
And set fire to his… teabags
Big thanks to Evan Sayet and Victoria Jackson for speaking at the Van Nuys protest.
It was quite a lively and impressive turnout.

I don't understand. It's not as if she called him a white bastard who should get some more drugs for his little bitch of a daughter. She has nothing to apologize for—or does she?
CNN can sure hire them, the main reason I stop watching them years ago.
We've been far too civil for far too long. We've talked about this before. I'm not afraid of a good shouting and shoving match, if that's what they want. Being civil to these political journalist hacks is like trying to explain calculus to an attack dog. Either they should get right back in the faces of these jerks, or at the very least say "I don't talk to leftist reporters who will talk over what I am trying to say and then later edit out anything that might be dangerous to your cause. Take a hike, CNN."
I am so humiliated. Susan Roesgen (the reporter) used to be on the air here in New Orleans! I thought she looked familiar when I saw the clip. Figures. Why oh why when something bad happens, it always seems to have something to do with New Orleans or Louisiana. And our state really is getting much better since our new governor is at the helm. (of course, now Illinois and Chicago both enjoy infamy a lot of time as well!)
Careful or we'll all end up on Eric Holder's enemies list. Signed, Anonymous in San Francisco.

She's just a CNN working girl. A pro. I'm guessing you can get a date with her, cheap.
Good to hear that Big Hollywood was well represented @ the Orange County Tea Party by you, Gary, and the great Orson Bean. I'll look forward to the video post.
I wanted to let you guys know, my wife and I attended the Tea Party @ the Santa Monica Pier (which was moved up to the corner of Ocean/Broadway due to the high winds) About 200 people, lots of American flags, homemade signs, good energy.
The highlight for me was when a handful of Code Pinkos set up shop in front of the Channel 7 news van in an attempt to get on camera with their giant pink banner. Seeing what was happening, a number of us decided to join in the fun with our flags and signs. After a few minutes, a chant of "U.S.A….U.S.A…" began and the pink ladies decided to leave.
I couldn't help but hear one of them comment as she was crossing the street, " That makes me want to move to Uruguay"
Sweet.
There you right wing racist guys go again with your racist comment about "journalistic objectivity." I expect to see an apology to Jamie Foxx forthwith.
Another reason for watching The Fox News Channel. Their ladies are a whole lot more attractive, and need less time doing their hair and makeup. I'm not counting Great van Susteren in the group.

I shoulda seen that one coming.
I would, but I'd have to watch CNN to find out who the sponsors are. That's just asking too much.
Write your comment here…
Don't feel too bad. Tom Brokaw used to be a charming newscaster on a local station I watched as a teenager in L.A. Look at what a pompous windbag he became. And don't forget, no matter how bad things get for other cities, San Francisco will always be there as the all-time champ (chump?),
Oops…*Jig*…Okay, now I get it. Must've been some kinda' subliminal, latent thing rearing it's nasty little (non-nappy) head. I was of course, quite innocently, referencing "jig" as in dance. No offense intended, if any was taken.
(But speaking of Jamie Foxx…I wonder what would've have happened to any white 'comedian' who might've been so uppity as to have called, or had been party to someone else calling, oh, say, Rhianna or Beyonce Knowles "a black bitch." Just asking.)
The MSM is basically state run media now. They helped Obama get elected and they are covering up for him wherever he goes. Hence, his failed Euro trip where he got almost nothing in return for all his promises and apologies is called a huge triumph. And these protest are ignored or called a collection of crazy people.
Now you know, people, for a fact that the MSM is not working in your interests at all. They do not care about reality, only the agenda. A pox on all their houses.
Andrew, you gave some great speech at the OC rally (I was there). So did Gary Graham, who got everyone fired up. And Orson Bean provided a great capper, reminding us that the most important thing about rallies, left, center or right, is the hot chicks.
Can't wait for the video Andrew. What a day! I had visions of news video of an indoor rally in Cali from yester-year – back when we still had a MSM grounded in journalism as a profession – The Prop 13 Jarvits hoopla. I earnestly pray we are enjoying as deeply profound an american movement in the making.
Of course the SINN (Seriously idiotic News Network) display of arrogance was hardly a shocker. I have a Creative suggestion for the South Park folks – or any other inclined wanna be's – how about digitally enhancing the above video – with a bit of 'commentary' by the babe in the fathers arms – via some of the renowned adolecent site gags South Park's legendary for.
AS DAD is shifting his babe in arms while fending off the offensive CNN doberman – babe makes a Cartmanesque political statement for his/her generation – by PUKING A RIVER OF GERBERS SPLIT PEA IN THE B*^#@&S FACE!!!!
Wipe the foam off your lips and take your medication.
I love this!
The MSM know how to cover the typical lefty protests — Code Pink gathers a dozen people to their cause — illegal immigration rallies — global warming, er, cooling rallies — but when the Right decides to protest? They're FREAKED OUT by it.
And scared.
"B-b-b-but, you guys are conservatives! Shouldn't you people be at work and making money to fund our entitlements?"
That was me in Al Sharpton mode. I've learned how to do faux indignation from my liberal friends. What you said wouldn't offend anyone who wasn't going out of his way to be offended. It's political correctness/racial identity politics gone mad. And we're always the bad guys. I guess that would be called a chink in our armor. (Now I'm in trouble here in San Francisco) And as for a Rhianna or Beyonce remark as you described it, do we even have to guess how loud the howls would be?
You hesitated for just a second about whether I was actually offended. That's exactly what the thought police count on. If we have to carefully think out who might be offended by our every word, we'll stop talking. Which is exactly the result they want. I intend to speak English as she is spoke, and if some ignoramus doesn't know the real meaning of a word or expression, and therefore decides it's racist, tough luck. Many of the perfectly innocent words and phrases that have existed for hundreds of years result in screams of outrage from people who THINK you are using racist words. That's their problem. Phooey. I encourage you to keep on posting without worrying that your completely non-racist usage will offend some idiot somewhere.
Dude, relax!
All that screaming, you're gonna get a aneurysm.
Your former enchanted showed up at my local rally, and they were madder than me! And I define attack speech around here. The local pinhead statist minion screamed all about no people of color being at the rally, as the CBS affiliate played tape of the nice black seriously bent former Obamaite lady in the background, a la "Baghdad Bob"!
I can see why you're all upset; the sharks all smell the blood, and you all pick now to flail around in the water shouting, "Look at us, we're in real trouble!!"
I'd call Ms Roesgen a media whore, but then I'd have to apologize to whores everywhere. The whores are merely peddling their flesh; Ms Roesgen is peddling the last shreds of her and CNN's integrity.
I'd call Ms Roesgen a media whore, but then I'd have to apologize to whores everywhere. The whores are merely peddling their flesh; Ms Roesgen is peddling the last shreds of her and CNN's integrity.
You should have yelled to them, "Fine! We'll help you pack!"
Heh!
Brother, if you were at my rally here in Albuquerque…
its not fear…its total "all in" hysterical PANIC!
Albuquerque had 10,000 people lining BOTH sides of Montgomery for MILES…you can't get 10,000 voters together for anything around here, even with BOOZE…yet here were all these constituents everywhere; and not a Congressional Representative or Senator ANYWHERE to be seen…
The lib Mayor got shaky, called out the local gendarmes, who spent three hours standing around with the most curious look of befuddlement at all the nice, well behaved people, who kept asking them if they needed water, seats, shade, etc.
And who brings the vitriol? The extremely few Obama robos and teleprompter worshipers, who spent all their time in such boorish behavior the cops had several "talkings to" them about deportment.
Beware, though: The ACORN nuts are already firing up the Twinkie School Buses and kicking up their sign-ons by threatening their aid checks. Prepare to see the counter-protests jump off…they are going to have to counter this somehow, and quick.
What's scary is she had the sand to do this in front of the rolling camera. Didn't she realize EVERYONE nationwide was gonna armchair quarterback her and…
Dang. My bad.
"The right isn't known for protesting anything."
This is what I was telling my wife. Most people on the right don't go to protests because
a) it's not their style
b) they have to go to work
So, when you see a big group of right-leaning people marching on the sidewalks and holding signs, you must have really pissed them off.
How is it that I read this site everyday and I had no idea that the BH crew was going to be at a Tea Party in my area? Was this announced somewhere? Is there a mailing list? Argh!
Little lili billy won't go home. But you can't push billy 'round, billy won't go. Try telling everybody, but, oh, no. Little lili billy won't…go home.
I love that song. Hang around, billy.
Be careful, LawhawkSF. I went down that very same road, and look what happened to me…
The media doesn't wade into a sea of G20 anarchists the way they do a group of "right-wing extremist terrorists" because they're too cowardly. This video is the perfect example, especially when the news distorter throws it back to the studio gal who chucklingly agrees and dismisses the nationwide events. The Cowardly New Network will never roar.
Ohh I see how it works now: we want PIE!
That should do the trick…
Calling her a two bit hack is an insult to otherwise entertaining two bit hacks, she made Baghdad Bob look like Morrow.
Those who can't get elected to Congress, go work for CNN.
What he said. ^
I see your point. And I concede to most about it, with the following exception…
Newt is dog tired, and misses the "Big DC". He's getting back on track, slowly, but still thinks like a "captured by the System" politician. Not good. And Sean plays along with certain perceived "Stars" of the Right, when he should be nailing them down to whatever is handy. Also, not good.
The wild card in all of this is you, me, and the rest of the gang. Us. I watched 10,000 people with nothing more in common than the desire to say, "ENOUGH!!", reach out to each other and start to connect. 10,000 in the big scheme of things seems small, but for every one of us, there are a lot of others that didn't get to go, or were on a different street that day, or (fill in the ____) reason. But they're just as upset as you and I, and they're going to see over the next few that they are not alone, that they are not imagining that the MSM is actively MinTruthing reporting, and all the rest of it. That figure I quoted here locally is actually much, much bigger. And it can turn an election on a dime, if it doesn't fall the way someone on the Left wants.
There is tremendous Power in that, and the statists know it.
We would not be the active measures target we are, if we weren't terrifying and panicking them. And panicky animals make huge, exploitable mistakes, like the CNN brain trust did.
You seem fine to me. And I've been beaten up by better clowns than these.
"Film at 11."
Hey LTrain,
Where was your dissent during the 8 years of the Clinton administration when there was not even 30 consecutive days where a cruise missile was lighting up a hospital or an F-18 was not destroying a school because that is where Sadaam liked to keep radar arrays and missile launchers.
Or do you only oppose death and murder when someone has to go on the ground and deal with the enemy personally. W decided to end the conflict and takeSaddaam out. You evidently think it was OK to bomb Iraq for the rest of Saddam's family line would stay in power. By the by where was your protest of the American military action in Haiti. I guess an elected govrnment in Iraq is bad but a communist dictator in Haiti that is good. I think you are a hippiecrit.
As for your spending comments. Dude get serious. Your side has spent more than W's whole second term in four months. Get a clue.
Not a "little" boycott, people. A Great Big, TEETH and CLAWS, OUT TO RIP YOUR SOUL OUT boycott.
Contact your fellows, show around the vid, make copies, and viral it with the team. Push it to 3 Mil hits with a correlating drop in ad revenue and increasing customer and stockholder complaints.
Backing Barry may be ignorance, but backing Barry during a recession and falling revenue is a lingering career death, if we work it right.
Hey Lincoln is just still a controversial figure. That's all. I mean hey if she thought Lincoln was too wild for family TV. Lord knows what would have happened if the guy started quoting Ben Franklin.
Small Mercy there.
I'd rather keep $400 that I EARN than have the Big Gov give it to me like I'm in need of a handout.
Amy, think of it this way: the Tea Parties were far larger than anyone really expected, so large that even CNN covered them – and in this case it totally backfired on them. Even Obama (well, his Wormwood, Gibbs) issued a statement in response. For the insatiably immodest "I-gotta-be-adored" rock star Obama, today had to hurt. The success is in the numbers, scale and exposure.
Hey!!! he's back!!! It's the left over, I'm so eighties, "Ronnie Ray-gun dude!!! You're really current, buddy. Oh, by the way, you've got some spaghetti sauce on your Che shirt. Yeah….right there. Yeah, you'd better go home and change. Your mom wouldn't like it, she kinda told me last night on our date.
Hi Amy,
Ranting and Raving is exactly what this blog is for so feel free.
There is something we can do and the politicians cannot stop us from beginning the process. IT is called ammending the constitution. We need a speed limit on taxes. The Fair tax is a good idea but it won't really stop overtaxing. They will just raise the fair tax to higer and higher levels hoping that you do not realize the rise in prices comes from taxes.
I would recommend a limit to how much any one individual can be taxed. No more that 1/3 to the federal go vernemnt and that includes any tax including the 15.3 % everyone pays in social security tax. A similar limit for the local government. We can begin the petition process for this and pressure the politicians to accept it. And we can keep trying until we get it passed.
Just a thought.
No, we want them running full tilt into the wall, and we want to help them along in the process every time we can. We have to want to make the MSM eat yellow snow with enthusiasm and gusto. We want everyone seeing that video over and over again until they reflexively vomit every time they see the letters C, N, and N in a single group. We want lib anything in media being declined by consumers in favor of VH1 retreads of 80's hair bands. And we must bust our backs to make it happen, because Barry's thugee gang is working overtime to try to do it to us.
Ahem do you think she has the stones for it. er …. nevermind I don't want to know.
That's the Spirit! Capture that, and hold it, and realize what a precious thing you have in your hand…you are determining destiny now, you and your new friends!
yeah, so there you republipunks, yeah deficit spending, yeah, trillions……yeah and just for added emphasis or because I'm functionally illiterate I'm gonna capitalize the US CO in US Constitution. Yeah, so there…..
"LTrain….time to come in now"
"But, mom…."
au contraire, I think that they've found next years winner of the Conkrite award for journalism excellence.
Keep up the pressure, get more people involved alongside you, stand up to the tyrants, and they WILL move!
Good shot
You didn't get the memo? Even I got the memo….
LOL!
Stay Frosty, Ken, there's more coming…
What frightens them more than anything, other than the citizen's right to bear arms, is the fact that honest Dems are starting to join us. The MSM shot all their remaining on this election. They have destroyed themselves and now they are devolving. Isn't it wonderful? This has to keep going!!
Was it really something other than hot chicks? Man, I gotta pay attention, or something. Giggity, giggity, goo..
that video was probably good for 5 ratings points for FOX.
In all seriousness, next tea party you attend, if you see a CNN camera or some CNN jerkweed with a mic looking for comments: Pretend they aren't there, just like you would at home.
This "reporter" seems more representitive of the likes that worked for Goebbels than a journalist in a free society.
And they wonder why their viewed as an apparatus of the state rather than a legitimate news source…
and what her argument boils down to is:
the taxpayer is bailing him/herself out……..
that stimulates what?
Very good point. A narcissist created in an Affirmative Action environment has personal problems when he is not adored by all the masses. As far as Gingrich…..who cares. Gingrich is pabulum.
Keep it up!!
When Cuba fell to Communism, the first thing that was done, the media reprogrammed the minds of the people to think Communism was the only way and the opposition was evil. Once that was in place, it was easy for it to take over, and we know how well that went. This was told to me by someone who was there and watched it unfold and is seeing the same thing happen here in the US. CNN, MSNBC, etc are promoting their socialist agenda, and if anyone gets in their way, they are considered ignorant, radicals, or undesirables, to be eliminated from society. Thank goodness we still have some semblance of the truth in FOX NEWS. The mantra of the leftist elite will win if we don't take a stand and fight for truth. Thank you for all the work you do to bring it to the forefront!
I am not joking. Is there some sort of mailing list? Did someone start a Facebook group?
Isn't it about time Big Hollywood gave us some forums so that we could discuss things like organizing team parties without having to use the comments section of some random post?
I want to thank Susan for further proving that liberals are trash. Thank you Susan, stay classy.
I'm curious mr. cranky libtard? Has all this talk of tea bagging reminded you that it's been awhile since you were in a relationship? LOL…
The scam is unraveling. The people who've been keeping the scam alive are only just beginning to realize their days are numbered. They are going to get really vicious as the movement grows. We ain't seen nothing yet. But the worse they get, the more they destroy themselves and their cause.
People are starting to wake up. And they are showing us why we need to. They have led us down a thorny path to their own enrichment. And now they are seeing their great works fall apart like the trash it is.
I know I did!
Gee Andrew- what else would you expect from the utterly biased, public-educated, mind-numbed Obamaton press, except a completely distorted view of ANY "news story" that would portray the "Obama Messiah" in anything but a warm, glowing light….?
CNN is SO jaded, so corrupt, that any attempt at unbiased reporting would seem like ultra right-wing bias.
Connie, I also recognized Susan Roesgen from WDSU Channel 6 in New Orleans from a few years back. I was so angry to see how she acted unprofessionally. It makes me wonder if she injected her bias in the local New Orleans news stories when she worked there. That kind of reporting scares me and it seems to be too common these days. It seems the Truth does not matter to people such as Ms Roesgen.
"On yourselves?" Either you are worried about state power or you are not. Either you are worried about a compliant press or you are not. And I can see you are not.
Using executive power in the pursuit of duties the constitution demands – such as the defense of the country – is one thing. Unbridled state power, with ALL branches of government pulling in the same direction in order to permanently transform the country along ideological lines is something else. The power to tax and spend is a mighty destructive force.
Assuming you are an American, maybe you think a doubling of the national debt is irrelevant because "your guys" are in power? The debt will be there when Obama is long gone, as will be tons of laws and regulations that we will all have to pay for indirectly. And whatever you may think, Bush did none of these things.
I would have been more shocked if the CNN reporter had been conducting an actual act of journalism. It should be no surprise to see this, and it's a good example of why Ted Turner is mad about his hijacked network. This tea party stuff is only the beginning, I fear. People who think they throw around history by name dropping Presidents like Lincoln and Reagan without a clear understanding of who they were or some specific context scare me. This means you, Barack Hussein Obama. Lincoln was a hugely partisan Republican–is this the context of how you are like him? You're a Democrat. It surely isn't the "Honest Abe" part…
The President isn't the problem. It's the losers in Congress who have simply been there too long. They could have signed away all their powers in the "stimulous bill" and because they didn't take the time to read it, wouldn't know. We need a new Congress, and we need to throw these dangerously inept incumbents out.
Who was the off-screen idiot (old guy with white cap and yellow flag) who interrupted the interviewee and gave Susan Roesgen an excuse to abort the interview?
Yes the "State of Lincoln" (one of the 57 no doubt) is getting $50 Billion of the governments money. Why are you all worked up about taxes. They have nothing to do with each other. Man, you Neo-Con-warmonger-water-boarding-dead-constitution-homophobe-polluting-tea-wasting-extremist-familymen are stupid.
hey did anyone else notice Phil Spector's Barak Obama Rocks pin?
i like to refer to them as "Tard Carnivals"
Just one point of clarification, remember that Lincoln only freed slaves held in states, or parts of states, in rebellion against the United States. He didn't end slavery throughout the entire country with that document.
GRRRRR Reagan Angry, Reagan Smash. Reagan Sleepy.
So are you . Really ,this same tired diatribe hasn't worked for years. It is time for some new material.
Susan Roesgen would get flustered on a sunny day. She behaved like she was reporting from war-torn Iraq. The guy had a baby in his hands, for crying out loud. When she didn't get the answer she wanted, she got angry. No doubt she'll probably get promoted at CNN.

Pathetic behavior like this is the reason Big Hollywood and Pajamas Media exist and will thrive. And only make us all better, Andrew. Thank God for new outlets like yours.
I think I'm getting me one of those portuguese water boarding dogs.
This is all wonderful stuff folks. A prime example of the effect of pushing back on these worthless leftist ba$tards. Like I’ve said their a mile wide and a millimeter thick and their agenda is now fully exposed. They’re screwing with the achievers in this country, or “messing in their own beds,” if you will. To put it in terms stupid leftist myrmidons can understand , tax payers. Everyone needs to follow up that impressive showing with an e-mail or a phone call to your representatives, senators, congressmen, etc. and say, “hell no.” Let’s keep that amazing fervor going and inform Washington who the boss is. Viva-la-revolution!
"hey did anyone else notice Phil Spector's Barak Obama Rocks pin?"
He's angling for a pardon.
Look, the man is obviously white and obviously not an Obama supporter. Any sensible human being functioning as a reporter has ever right to react to a racist the way she did. We should all be proud of her….
(if you can't get the sarcasm in the comment, you should have…)
You left out racist, sexist and bigoted.
I did notice the Obama Rocks pin on Spector. It seems the trolls here, er, I mean "our liberal guests", overlook that (and outrageous episodes other of other celebs) whenever they launch into how the right wing goes around killing people or taking away their civil rights when we don't get our way.
Officially the funniest thing i have heard in the last 24 hours.
Even the dem in cubicle next to me laughed.
CNN has turned into MSNBC-Lite. They are so desparate to be relevant they will stoop to any level to get ratings.
This harpie should be absolutely ashamed of herself, but she isn't, she probably thinks she "stuck it to the conservatives". Which makes her more than a little retarded.
CNN should be flooded with correspondence demanding that slag's resignation. Any organization that calls itself a news organization has no business employing a partisan shill like that woman.
I can't recall FOXNews sending people out to left wing protests and harassing them, can anyone else? And if so, imagine the liberal backlash afterwards……just disgusting…..
As Malkin and Newsbusters noted… go back and look at her comments back in '06 at an anti-Bush rally… the comments just so how far gone this reporter is.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I'd respond intelligently but… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
She was scared by a guy in glasses holding a 2 year old.
I can't even imagine her reaction if you started to throw things at her.
it's a long-suffering slow to anger thing.
Power to the people!!
Maybe if we brought paper mache giant heads we could have garned the media's respect?
They're not really interested in actual reporting, they are more interested in ratings.
CNN, MSNBC and the NYT all went to the Morton Downey Jr school of journalism. I'm surprised that idiot "reporter" didn't throw a chair at that man's child when she didn't get the response she wanted.
If CNN had ANY integrity left after Cooper, they would fire this disgusting phony.
Wow…private citizen attends rally without teleprompter or prepared statement, as he has no reason to expect a moajor news outlet to interview him. Major news outlet singles him out, and he doesn't have a three-second sound bite ready, but tries to articulate his position anyway. Major news outlet reporter cuts private citizen off, and delivers editorial screed echoing administration talking points.
Yesterday before I ran out to my Tea Party, CNN was doing a story, and the promo said "Who is behind these 'Tea Parties? Is it REALLY a grassroots effort?"
CNN couldn't believe a bunch of people angry about the future of their country organized this — they thought some insidious GOP was pulling the strings … unreal.
The more journalists I meet the more I like lawyers.
I also am outraged and furious at the reporter's blatant disregard for the man's right to voice his opinion. If she had given him a chance, he might have said that he was not in favor of "Lincoln's state" getting the stimulus money that is NOT a stimulus for the economy but a back door for socialist programs. I agree, that woman should be fired, but she will probably be given a Pulitzer Prize for courageous reporting under supreme duress. Sheesh!
Also, I tried to find an e-mail address to CNN but could only find the blogs. I want to address THEM personally. Has anyone found that?
"Three short months ago “dissent is patriotic” was the rallying cry of the media and the left. Now they’re the enforcers of government mandated conformity. Pathetic."
CNN was able to switch roles almost as quickly as FNC!
Also, can we please stop acting like FNC is not part of the MSM when they're the highest-rated cable news network in the nation? If that's not mainstream, what is?
Also, can we please stop acting like FNC is not part of the MSM when they're the highest-rated cable news network in the nation? If that's not mainstream, what is?
the ironies abound. It;s amazing how many liberals knew what 'teabagging' meant- 4 continents and 37 countries later WE never heard of it…
You forgot to tell him how many teabags you used…
Sorry – just couldnt resist helping out in swiping back at that neo-tard
I can almost smell the patchouli oil and BO….
What's the matter couldn't find a hemp shirt to match your purse?
Go back to the rest of your dirty feet people, the adults are talking….
Just another example of how the MSM gave up any pretense of being impartial journalists during the 2008 campaign. The comments from both the "reporter" and the anchor about "this is an example of what we're "dealing with" here…" and the tone of this report is just another indication of why the American people are NOT watching CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and not reading the Times, the Post and the other big lib media. I am also amused at how clueless these people are as to WHY their ratings/readership have dropped so precariously.
So now the Obama administration has labeled anyone who disagrees with them "domestic terrorists." Nice. But GW Bush was a fascist who would brook no dissent. Right…
… you have no intelligence to bring to the discussion. Thank you for proving the point about liberals – no thought, no intelligence, no logic and completely unable to form a coherent sentence or idea. Poor baby.
"Tard Carnivals"!!!! Thanks for starting my day with a laugh.
Let me finish that thought for you….
"I'd respond intelligently but…..I'm too busy being teabagged by my blow-up doll of Anderson Cooper…"
I was just having the same thought. Think I will send an email to Channel 6 congratulating them on having gotten rid of her.
They also work on the iPod Touch.
Letter written to CNN explaining why our house is a CNN Free Zone unless Harpy gets publicly fired.
[...] Big Hollywood called Roesgen’s coverage a mean-spirited pathetic display. [...]
Wow, Susan got out of there just in time! Imagine the hell that would have broken loose if her interviewee had actually ANSWERED her biased question!!!
After watching the crowd react to her lack of professionalism, apparently her comic book weakness is having the obvious pointed out to her.
Maybe she just wanted to follow the Andersons, Obermanns and Blitzers into her own hour-long program (although it would seem like longer) who cannot separate their opinion from facts. At least Anderson can veil his dirty jokes with a bit of dignity.
So…..
Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but did Susan Roesgen basically just cop to CNN being a left wing media mouthpiece? Because she said that they were anti-CNN and that it was a right wing protest. Kind of sounds like she's implying if you're right wing then you're against CNN, and the only reason that would be is if CNN was left wing.
Just sayin….
It is frustrating when those who are basically on our side don't get it. Hannity is one of my least favorite talk show hosts. He has become too strident while not being that insightful – at least his radio show isn't designed for especially bright people. Hannity should have stayed out of it like Rush and Levin did. Those guys DO get it and see that this phenomenon goes on without them, and why needlessly interject themselves into this particular demonstration.
Newt is a politician. Mostly I agree with him sometimes I don't.
You're correct about Roesgen stating CNN"s left orientation…but in CNN's collective mind they are mainstream. Bernard Goldberg explained this phenomena in "Bias".
CNN is staffed by liberals who have been surrounded by like-minded people so long that they honestly think everyone should love the Dear Leader and all His programs. They do not realize there are a lot of people who disagree with CNN and its liberal slant.
When the MSM is confronted with evidence that a lot of Americans don't support the "progressive" viewpoint, CNN, NBC, et al do not see it as a difference of political opinion; they view things like the Tea Parties as heresy, and treat them accordingly.
And, yes, I agree with the poster who said Roesgen is angling for her own hour-long show on MSNBC.
PRESIDENT MCCOTTER. There.
Hear Hear!
hmm lets protest wasteful spending by buying millions upon millions of tea bags and dumping them in a public place? Some grass roots movement… how many of you would have heard of this without your daily dose of the Fair and Balanced? I'm sorry I can't control my laughter… It just finally feels good to be in the majority and watch how quickly you all fall farther into hypocrisy. You oppose the stimulus plan, but then demand your equal share of government money. You spend 8 years in power, take a surplus and throw it away, start a needless war that our children's children will still be paying for, push through tax cuts for the wealthy and remove the checks and balances of our government and economy, but then cry foul when a coherent, honest budget (that actually includes the money going to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan) is presented to you. Fox and CNN and all these other pseudo-news reporting networks don't offend their own viewers because anyone who could be offended has already stopped watching them. O'Retard lambasts the liberal media for 'gotcha' qts and then sends his producers to stalk and harass those who read back his past (always offensive) inanities to him. I could go on all day but the laughter just keeps bubbling to the surface.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ya got me there… I do love my blow up dolls.
ok, points for having a sense of humor….but you have selective outrage syndrome….
With idiots like this woman, we don't have to whine about the liberal biased media anymore. She did more to prove it in that couple of minutes than we could have done in years. Thank you Susie!
Fox is one cable network. NBC ABC CBS PBS are broadcast networks which reach millions. In case you haven't noticed they all have big news divisions and nightly news reports and, um, radio news divisions. This along with the hundreds of local and nation papers (with a few exceptions) make up the mainstream. The fact that CNN and MSNBC are two smaller cable outlets is irrelevant, they are just more tributaries of the mainstream..
Behold the Libtarde mind at work: shameless lie piled on shameless lie, coupled with smug junior high school derision.
No point addressing this farrago of fabrications, but at least let me respond to "coherent, honest budget;"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I guess anything remotely to the right of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC would be treated as right wing because of how far left those networks are.
I don't think it's possible for you to.
I don't think it's possible for you to.
I'm with you on that. The press will NEVER give a Republican the same amount of respect as they do with a Democrat. Look back at when the Republicans took over congress in '94. I used to get up and watch CSPAN and Gingrich and Daschle would have morning press conferences. The press would tear Gingrich up and press him with follow ups trying to screw him up (which never worked because reporters aren't that smart) and would never follow up with the same questions to Daschle. Newt even brought pictures for the dim press to visualize what he was talking about. But their eyes glazed over with the amount of knowledge that was being presented to them. That proved it to me then where they stood on the spectrum. Reagan knew this and went right past them. Republicans should come to the same realization and bypass the press.
Well, it doesn't always translate well from a text environment to a spoken environment. You might want to bring some cue cards with the appropriate words written in all-caps so it will work its magic.
Amy – Read the fair tax book before commenting on it please – That was a simplistic explanation give so people like you could understand it.
wow.
I participated in the tea party in San Jose. The news crews all parked along the streets and did not have much interaction with the peaceful crowd. When the rally crashers, some crowd of human workers who piggy backed our permit or some schlubby looking bunch, the news was very interested in their "Cause". Whatevs, THE CONSERVATIVE BASE IS ORGANIZING. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Keep reading your talking points. Maybe someday you'll be able to think for yourself. As a conservative, I always hope that you'll reach your true potential without government intervention.

The elitist media can't get their heads around this phenomenon because THEY didn't start it and didn't hype it. Now they have to cover it or look stupid. THEY don't have any figurehead to interview – no politician they can label and then attack. There is no easy narrative they can use to tell us who the good guys are and who are the bad guys. Poor reporter-ette has to wade into the unwashed and interview someone, he gets out three words and reporter-ette sees a flaw in his still incomplete sentance,. "What does Lincoln have to do with taxes?" she interrupts. Oh is this a debate? Guess so. Now reporter-ette interupts again. Obviously she has chosen one of the uninformed members of the crowd who doesn't know that he is getting $400 back from the givernment! ( I'm keeping that typo! The Givernment. Love it.) Anyway $400 must be a lot of money to this angry neanderthal. And why isn't he pleased that the State of Illinois is getting billions of Federal money?
I'm sure this shallow CNN nag was asking antagonistic questions to the others in the crowd trying to get a good "angry" soundbyte.
She's probably already be pelted with soggy tea bags. That's why she's an angry, angry woman. (Had to get a reference in there)
You noticed that too? Or when 5 Code Pink uglies show up for a protest, the press makes it sound like a serious turn in American opinion.
Is it because I've been typing about FINDING A SHIRTLESS CHRISTIAN BALE IN MY KITCHEN MAKING ME BRUNCH, and I haven't seen so much as a quiche.
*MissQuinn*
1,000 + people at tea party in our Midwest town. Never before felt such a kinship with our Founding Fathers. But also never before felt such a threat of takeover of/by our government.
Oh I dunno, how much does a teabag cost, and probably 99% of the people who tossed or mailed or did whatever with them already had them in their pantries. No cost to anyone there (and certainly not spending someone else's money).
It's interesting you know that much about the budget that's being presented when even the people who signed it don't know what's in it. Especially the earmarks that the government admits will not be trackable.
And people WERE complaining about the Bush spending (but you don't watch the actual NEWS station, so you can be forgiven for not knowing it). The problem that people have is the level of spending with little to no assurance of a return on it. Nobody is saying McCain wouldn't be doing the same thing – if he had been elected and tried doing the same level of spending Obama is, the result would be the same. The same people would be on the streets protesting. I don't want the next generations beholden to China, paying their entire lives to pay back Obama/Bush/congress outrageous spending.
Nobody's protesting having to pay taxes, there is real fear about what the government is getting us into.
It's funny too, that you provide a link to the Daily Show while criticizing Fox News. If that's where you get your information from, then it's understandable that you don't know what people are thinking and obviously don't care.
And you obviously consider yourself to be quite the wit. I'll bet you think you're great fun at parties.

CNN ought to change it's name to TASS. Oh, wait, that name's already taken…
Mmmmm, PIE!
Good one! Yeah, he had me giggling there too. Calling this budget coherent and honest had me rolling helplessly on the floor.
Excellent comment, Franco.
And love your typo: givernment!
Anyone even slightly right of Trotsky would be labelled a right wing conservative threat to these people. Unbelievable.
The reporter said the rally was anti-government and Anti-CNN. This was a huge slip on her part. Pull back the curtin and CNN is really GNN (Gov'ment News Network)
she ought to be fired for letting us peek in.
Please stand in your kitchen when you click on the link…

Just noting two news stories today:
1. Obama ignores tea parties.
2. White House orders name of Jesus covered while Obama speaks at Georgetown.
Plus an older story:
3. U.S. President bows to Saudi king.
They're probably about due for a government bailout, too. Can't let bad ratings dictate the market.
Teabaggin! Teabaggin! Teabaggin!
Exactly!
"You oppose the stimulus plan, but then demand your equal share of government money."
- Demand our equal share of the government money? No we don't, I don't want any damn "government money" and you know why, because it's not the government's money in the first place, it's our money that the government goes and wastes. What they can't squeeze out of us they borrow from such friendly people as the PRC, what they can't borrow they print. Yeah that's worth your $400 that CNN Sally there was talking about, or your $16 bucks a week.
"You spend 8 years in power, take a surplus and throw it away," – 9/11 had something to do with the surplus being "thrown away," instead of insulting Republicans why don't you send a bill to Osama, I'm sure he'll be happy to address your concerns on this issue.
"start a needless war" – Which needless war would that be? Afghanistan or Iraq? You never know you could be one of those Code Pink morons that think we should have sent the FBI to get Bin Laden instead of the military so I have to ask. If you mean Iraq then you apparently think it's fine for a country to breach cease fires, shoot at our aircraft, kill their own citizens at will, pay for terrorist attacks in Israel, and kick nuclear inspectors out whenever they feel like it. I'm glad you're not my neighbor, you'd probably offer a V-8 and a dolphin free tuna sandwich to the guy robbing my house too.
"that our children's children will still be paying for," – Don't try to fool us, you don't have children or grandchildren, replacements for your blow up doll don't count. And no you're still not allowed to marry it. People who actually have living, non-imaginary, children are worried about paying for the deficit, you know the one that Obama has made greater in 3 months than Bush did in his 8 years.
"push through tax cuts for the wealthy" – Yes the wealthy got tax cuts, along with every other person in the country. But that's not good enough for you people, you want to stick it to 'the man' and tax 'rich people' even more, because that'd be fair. So where does 'rich' start, I've seen 5 different definitions of 'rich' from Obama and still no hard figures on the new tax code.
"and remove the checks and balances of our government and economy," – Since when is the government nationalizing businesses a check and/or balance of the economy?
"but then cry foul when a coherent, honest budget (that actually includes the money going to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan) is presented to you." – Coherent and honest? You can actually associate those words with anything that comes out of Congress right now? You're further off the deep end than I imagined. Under Bush the war was funded by supplemental bills not included in the regular budget, it wasn't hidden, it was separate, why was it separate? To keep money grubbing political hacks from attaching their pet projects to funding for the war.
What an inane little troll you are.

Exactly, if you can get 4-5 unwashed hippies with a sign together it's an "indication of a larger movement" but you get 10k people annoyed at the government out on the streets and it's a joke.
Hey cvh! Nobody gives a $hit!
They have a lot more free time I guess, you know to do stuff and things while we're out doing crazy boring stuff like working…
I think you just sold Robert Byrd on an iPhone. I don't know whether to congratulate you or just say doh really loudly.
The "Answer" is actually a written document viewed by the judge and opposing counsel. When we get to the part where we're actually talking to the jury we just shout. Shouting at the jury and using all caps with the judge are two sides of the same coin. This is gonna be fun!
we still cannot figure out why people who just would never abide by any thought process that eminates from this site continue to visit- particularly when it is to give a list of standard left wing DNC talking points… your rebuttal is, of course, accurate-
however they have no interest in exploring the dialogue. Is it a desire to control debate, stifle dissent, or waste their time because of not having a life? Would any of our heavy hitters wade into Daily Kos just to stir up a hornet's nest?
just asking…

Wait, so portuguese dogs can do the waterboarding for us now? Excellent! That way we can get the animal-rights folks off our backs, right? Or is this just more outsourcing?
Go back into your hole like a good little commie
Think back to the days of the old USSR. How did the Commies treat "counter-revolutionaries"? How does that differ except in degree by the American Bolsheviks' treatment of the tea party "counter revolutionaries".
The Left, unlike their Russian comrades, incrementally and with great patience took over America. (They were too chicken to do it the Russian Bolshie's way because Americans would and could shoot back). Now they have the House, Senate, Judiciary, Presidency, Bureaucracy, Brainwashing (education) and Propaganda (media) they are not going to be open to any counter revolutionaries trying to take it back. THAT is the reason for the hostility from CNN, CNBC and all the other alphabets.
I went to the Sacramento Tea Party on the west side of the capitol and what a hoot that was. Took me an hour just to find a parking place – when I finally got there talk about a cross section – a grandmother with her granddaughter who wanted to pet my dog – Harley guys – when I saw one with a "Patriot Guard" patch on his jacket told him he was doing God's work for bringing some peace suffering families of loved ones at funerals –
Funniest guy was a guy in a beekeepers outfit (completely with net over hat) with sign saying "taxes are stinging me to death"
One thing that was painfully obvious at this rally – well, 2 things – crowd was well behaved and no garbage left on the ground.
Actually, I think Trotsky got labeled a right wing conservative on more than one occasion. Granted, it was by Stalin but…hmmm
He had me going until the link. Anyone who quotes Jon Stewart as the voice of reason, well… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Also, I thought the R word was verboten now. Is it ok to use it again?
Or fat, ugly, homosexual nudists.
We have a lot of work ahead of us. The left is pissed because they think they shld be the only ones that protest. I cannot wait for July 4th! I hope CNN tries that crap again!
Probably the same reason they insult Christians and not Muslims. Christian's don't behead people that dare to ask them questions or are members of the "wrong" religion.
Four to six. Three makes a consipracy. Seven or more make up an extremist group.
LOL! I'd want anything that would let me cart those documents around with me. I figured people would like to know how easily obtained our founding documents are, so they can read them for themselves.
Good to know! Thanks for the info.
Ever read any Karl Marx? Me neither! HA!
by the way, get it right: Islamists hide in holes… Commies live in communes and kibutzes.
anyway, why hide in a hole when I can hang out with you wonderful characters?
heard it was low attendance & a sausage fest to boot.
Oh I know, but I had to put the Byrd joke in there or I would have felt remiss. And I hate when that happens.
I don't have enough patience to read Marx. I will give you credit. You are comedy relief.
The problem is that Fox had people from its nightly lineup going to the protests, neil cavuto, glenn beck, mr hannity, and greta van sust…w./e were all reporting on it and greta was the only one not reporting from in the croud. So hannity kinda had to be there.
I don't get it either, I don't mind debate, I do mind idiocy and that seems to be what we get from the left. But it's typical, they claim to be the big proponents of people's rights and yet they're the ones that immediately go Brownshirt as soon as someone they don't like shows up to speak. Look at what happened to Tancredo, which is just the most recent in a long string of free speech suppression by them.
They claim to want debate, but as soon as they could get it all they want to do is shut up, shut down, and turn away anyone that might give it to them. That's in the really real world, when it comes to internet trolls I think it's a combination of that, plus simply having no life.
It's free for them, and that's all that matters to them. I better go check the daily tracking polls to see if I'm "rich" yet, you know so I can patriotically finance more free time for more people.
Shameless. This video should be required viewing in schools. And as for that $400 – every American should be insulted.
IntenseDebate Notification <DIV>Don't know where you heard that – crowd estimates were anywhere from 5,000-10,000</DIV> <DIV style=”FONT: 10pt arial”>
How about a nice class action lawsuit for sexual harassment for MSNBC and CNN with their all day dirty joke t.bing….the innuendo, so clever, so cool, just like their hillbilly leader.
no, rich already you are- see if you no classify as 'filty rich'…
I say, let the media keep marginalizing the real people who participate in these Tea Parties. All they serve to do is steel the resolve of the people attending & lose more viewers. One thing about news & media, it is a trust business, your audience has to trust that you are being legit in reporting. Once you lose an audience member you NEVER get them back. The people who CNN, MSNBC, etc marginalize by their childish "teabagging" jokes & by their browbeating interviews of Tea Party attendees are people who will never be relying on CNN, MSNBC, etc for news again. Lost forever.
it is kind of frustrating because principled conservatives love a good dust up- what galls us is the cookie cutter mentality. Butt into a conversation, toss out bromides and cliche's, insult and denigrate, YELL AND SHOUT IN CAPS and then say we are nazis or fascists or whatnot… like there's a school for 'trolls' (as you all call them). Seems a bloody waste of time to us…
This video got my blood boiling much the same as most people here, but what is even more scary is that a so called Reporter from CNN doesn't even attempt to hide the obvious bias. We who frequent blog sites like this have learned to be sensitive to bias over time and we can see it where most Americans do not. However, I wonder what makes CNN feel that they no longer have to even cover it up anymore. The media correctly predicted and assissted an Obama Presidency, even while many of us including myself just couldn't believe that any person possessing a degree of common sense would actually vote for him. Well, we were wrong about that. So this actually makes me even more concerned because if CNN feels free enough to do this, it tells me that they feel that this is something they believe most Americans are going to be with them on.
Finally, while it is true that she is a hack, one thing that struck me most about this was when she first cut the man off and I believe that the point she was going to make is that "are you aware that 50 Bazillion (?) of this money is going to your own Home state? WHAT?! I have NO IDEA how that was supposed to thrill this guy or score any points! 50 bazillion dollars of illegally confiscated money from hard workers is going to be distributed to various causes completely without any accountability by corrupt bureaucrats, and of course NONE OF IT will benefit the tax payer whatsoever. This is truly scary stuff when the most basic and simple concepts are not understood by those in positions of power and even moreso by a majority of Americans.

R.I.P. Journalism
I would like to know what they are teaching journalism majors now a days? And more so, why does someone have to go to school to learn how to do this?
"I confess!!!"
Be careful, you may be considered a right wing extremist if you believe in the constitution. LOL
Ah… The Commentary Notnews Network and their comatose twinkie is not so surprising to me. They went to the same scholo of journalism as Dan Rather and Katie Couric at the Can't Be Sane network. Peas in the same pod. Sorta like Pod People…. Weird, strange and a good belly laugh.
Jack, I will take a different tack. I have seen more HONESTY in a combat zone.
I don't view CNN anyway so it's not a great big deal. I do think this article and blog is really great for pointing out their little charade though. I love Big Hollywood and Andrew has a hit in my book. ! Keep up the good work!
Actually Susan Roesgen performed a worthy public service for those who still suppose CNN is a credible "news" source.
She candidly exposed the rotten underbelly of mindless anti-America propaganda which is obviously a fundamental hiring requirement for CNN "Reporters."
Yup. In a combat zone the punishment for self-deception is swift and very harsh.
Actually Susan Roesgen performed a valuable public service for any who still believed CNN was a viable "news" source.
Obviously, being an anti-America leftist ranter is now a hiring requirement for CNN "Reporters."
Hey, Ltrain–what's the "L" stand for?–LOONEYTUNES?–'cause that's what you sound like with your incoherent, mean-spirited, hash of a rant…….hey, wait; you've gotta be a LIBTARD, now I get it. Just spray all the conservative names you can, then cover them with your EXTREMELY LAME humor; Billdo leilly? Are you putting me on? THAT'S supposed to be clever & hip? You must be the steadyer of Obamamoron's T.V. PROMPTER, a job I'm sure you would undertake with huge gravitas, 'cause he's 'THE ONE', right? Get some much-needed counseling, Ltrain, then get a (conservative) life, you loozer—-MARKRITE
Now tell me again , why are these people called reporters ?
Is it safe to say the only people sucking on Obama is CNN and their ilk?
CNN will call it 'premature emancipation proclamation'
they only have them when they log in to websites or carrying signs that call Bush and Conservatives names. Chances are good most libs of today would have ran at the sight of the British while true Patriots stood there and fired their weapons.
reminds me of a Jr. High kid who just learned a new dirty concept. Go play your X-bawks , son.

QUESTION (While admitting that I am so addicted to BH I am using the computer at my friend's eye Dr – waiting to take him home with dialuted pupils) – anywho, we all know that most of the MSM is biased and not even trying to feign objectivity – but in this age does it even matter anymore? Even before the Internet reached critical mass, I remember Reagan getting slimed day after day – and yet – he seemed to talk right over the MSM and reached the people.
Does anyone really care what CNN says anymore? Does it make a difference – other than angering us? I suppose a good argument could be made for their reaching "undecideds" – and the constant pounding of GW Bush for 7 years certainly didn't help him – how much uinfluence do you all think the MSM has any more?
They certainly resent talk radio -
That is an excellent question as to how long have these people been injecting their bias into the so-called reporting of "news". This is so unbelievably frightening. I am glad I have woken up and that so many other folks are too. When are we going to get factual news reporting. There has got to be someone out there, with money, who can finance a factual news report. Even if it is only on for 30 minutes a day, I would gladly pay generously for a subscription, if I knew that I would get "just the facts" with no commentary.
Hey you know what? I SWEAR to you that in my immaturity, I am completely BIPARTISIAN.
If there was an organized labor union walk out over at the FUDGE PACKING PLANT…I would make fun of that too. And, really people please!!! WHO WOULDN'T?!?!

That woman is not a professional TV journalist. She is a disgrace to the profession. She must be fired, tarred and feathered and be run out of town.
I was at the Chicago Tea Party. I didn't initially see the snit 'interviewing' the protester but I caught a small crowd gathering around something and could see a woman looking like she was really telling someone off. Then I heard chants of "go home CNN". When I saw the clip last night, I knew that's what it was about.
If I had been there when the know-nothing-know-it-all dared to tell us Illinoisans 'don't you know the state of Lincoln is getting $50 billion dollars from the stimulus', I would have said…
don't YOU know you're standing in the county with the highest sales tax in the nation? Don't YOU know our governor has just proposed the biggest tax increases in 40 yrs.? Don't YOU know our governor criticized the last governor, the one impeached and indicted, for running up the deficit ($11.6 billion) while promoting budget gimmicks that hid the real cost of programs? Don't YOU know the US Treasury is not gifting $50 billion to Illinois but billing the taxpayers?
BTW, I sent an email to CNN and suggested that the next time they send a reporter to Illinois, they should inform themselves about what is going on there and why people are fed-up so their reporters don't make such damn fools of themselves.
All of this pretend indignation about the "Teabagging" jokes are so transparent. Seriously.
If there is one thing I'm MORE convinced of than the fact that Obama is NOT the Manchurian Candidate… its this: IF there was an organized labor union walk-out over at the fudge packing plant, you can bet there'd be plenty of people here making fun of that. Come on, just admit it!

I'd be making fun of them if they were high school drop-outs demanding $25.00 an hour. Anyway, I don't know where you're coming from regarding "making fun of" union walk-outs. Criticism (if deserved) yes, making fun of, no. BTW, I was a union carpenter until losing my job in the down turn and I come from a union family; my father was even the president of his union. You're a simple-minded dope.
It still was a good speech and good ole honest Abe got around to it didn't he
It still was a good speech and good ole honest Abe got around to it didn't he
Obama's new med plan will allow you to have a pill to clear that up though
Because it is about Power and not Honesty.
What does it matter what Truth is so long as you get to determine Truth for everyone else. You don't really think these people don't know that they are stealing from others do you? They know, they don't care.
I love how this libs talk as if the probelms in Iraq started with W in 2002. I have yet to hear one of them explain to me their plan for ending the no fly zones. But I gues the media forgot to cover every cruise missile strike that went into Iraq during Clinton's terms in office. How was that "killing" and "murder" supposed to END without a ground war. The answer is it wasn't. Liberals don't care if anyone in the middle east gets freedom.
Some of them are religious fanatics so no middle easterner can get or deserves democracy. The Truth is it is their PREJUDICE against ARABS that allows them to act like this. They are hipocrits of the 88th order.
I'm pro union and I also come from a union family (My grandfather was one of the founders). you get the prize for missing the point entirely.
Those who can't get a job at CNN spend their time cold calling people for Media Matters and Moveon.org
i love the picture Andrew Breitbart used here… how old is that? vain much? that dough boy is at least 50 lbs more then that now. awesome, why not just use your Senior picture in high school? haha.
I love how you're too stupid to grasp capitalization.
EXCELLENT, Madelyn!
Also, it's 'more THAN that now'.
You should just go back to high school. Ha!
Those that can't get a job at Media Matters or Moveon.org get one trolling for HuffPo and Kos.
I guess you get the prize for nuance because I don't know what your point was.
And those who can't troll for HuffPo and Kos. become POTUS. . . (at least in 2008)
Interesting video of this same thing only with some extra time where the people protesting take this reporter to task and she STILL can't understand that it's not about party lines. What a freakin' bimbo. No wonder CNN's ratings are so low.

That' killing two birds with one stone.
You are right – her career is over. We can no longer trust the press. Just turn off the TV since CNN isn't "suitable for family viewing"…I would never let my kids watch it unsupervised, frankly I prefer not to have it at all. Most of us are understanding of paying taxes for normal services like army, navy, federal court buildings, etc. For me, the tea party was really a "reckless spending" protest; I don't want Govt. debt to enslave my children and prevent them from being able to pay for essential services when they are adults. Congress needs to undo the fake stimulous!!
You're right!
CNN only promotes The Communist Manifesto!!, That would be appropriate. Let's all be supportive of trickle up poverty and when we are digging ditches or doing hard labor in China, we can thank CNN for showing us the way to a beautiful and fulfilling life!! (eating nasty bugs and everything!).
That's exactly why we've got to speak-up louder and more often! July 2nd just happens to be the 100th anniversary of the Constitutional amendment that gave Congress the power to tax income…what a perfect day for another tea party!

Thanks for the video and post Big Hollywood. Keep getting the TRUTH out!!
A most excellent idea, Elizabeth Bennett.
What an example of the coarsening of our culture. i.e. make dirty jokes (on prime-time TV) about the people peacefully speaking out for the Constitution.
Gee if they;re all as sick as you say, you should feel right at home.
Ummm…dude…. You sound like a paranoid nut job idiot. Just my opinion.
Good one dude, so sorry my finger didn't release from the shift button in time…still doesn't make your GED compare to my level of education…Sooooooorrrrrrrryyyyy
I'll take Ike Eisenhower's warnings about the undue influence of the military-industrial complex over your corporate, bootlicking platitudes…hope you realize your children and grandchildren have been sold into serfdom by the crony capitalists and this country is living on borrowed time…won't be long before the Chicoms come to collect their dues…your boy cheney lost the Afghanistan War, Iraq War and the Cold War with his unnecessary crap shoot in Iraq…THAT you can't deny
Bill, how many chins do you have? I'll bet waaaaay more than one….am I right?
Wow – you must drink kool-aid by the gallon. "corporate, bootlicking platitudes"? "crony capitalists"? – what did you do, find a stack of early editions of Ramparts? Why do I envision you as someone who has a part-time job in a used record store? Or maybe a stock boy at the local co-op who is still working on that master's in early Aztec pottery? Now as someone who has fought in Iraq more than once I can tell you that WE WON and it is no side show, tool. If Afghanistan goes South it will be directly due to the big O. I am guessing military history and the concepts of modern warfare escape your grasp. But that is no surprise since I am absolutely certain you have never made a fist in your life except to hold your junk in it. Bad hippie – no patchouli for you!
[...] Big Hollywood » Blog Archive » Big Hollywood Crew Joins Tea Party Protest bighollywood.breitbart.com/abreitbart/2009/04/ – view page – cached I’ve just come back from the Orange County Tea Party where Big Hollywood contributors Gary Graham, Orson Bean and I addressed the crowd. — From the page [...]
