‘Racist!’ He cried…: A Thought-Terminating Cliché in Decline
by Adam Baldwin‘Racist!’, the political epithet, has rapidly lost credibility and political sting recently thanks to clumsy overuse by grievance-mongering thugs. The slur is a tactical viewpoint discrimination launched as a means to stifle intellectual diversity, rational discussion, and to shame people that diverge from race-hustling orthodoxy.

‘Race hustlers’ are commonly known as shakedown artists and/or smear merchants who expertly deploy the “R-word”, and it has somehow garnered them credibility to preach the gospel of social justice — and reap the ill-gotten gains of equality-of-outcome Statism — to the intellectual wreckage left below them.
Tragically, such rhetorical abuse damages the appropriate use of the term – and leaves actual victims of “traditional” racism with a neutered descriptor that is quickly beginning to make the accuser sound like a whining name-caller. The sad irony is that abusers harm the very people they claim to be defending, most often for selfish political and financial profit.
Of course, follow the money…
Being a race hustler is a very lucrative business for people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. But such people can extort money and power from white business and political leaders precisely because it is easier to pay off a relative handful of noise makers than to be bothered fighting them. But tens of millions of blacks cannot duplicate what a small band of extortionists do.
Chasing a will o’ the wisp like reparations cannot produce what blacks most want — respect, including the self-respect that comes ultimately from one’s own achievements. This is something that whites could not give blacks if they wanted to.
That fading race-business model is likely depressing its intolerant participants’ financial outlook.
Time-out to play Spot the ‘Racists!’ (*NSFW*):
A true classic, no?
Moral-crusaders on self-congratulatory, highly profitable missions exploit and perpetuate the ‘soft bigotry of low expectations’. They are now desperate to keep their minority mascots in political servitude to one political party’s destructive ideology, i.e., dependence.
Ironically, Candidate Obama’s denunciation and public divorce from his long-time racist pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, played a pivotal role in accelerating the loss of race-hustler credibility in the current American zeitgeist; this cultural good fortune – secured for now by new/alternative media success — is likely to continue its progressive course into the foreseeable future.
Addressing his former pastor’s failures and “mistake” in his famous March, 2008 campaign ‘Race Speech,’ President Obama characterized our nation’s “racial divisions” as being in a “stalemate.” He asserted a firm conviction “rooted in [his] faith in God and [his] faith in the American people – that working together we can move beyond some of our old racial wounds.”
Later, elected president, Mr. Obama acknowledged his careless rush to judgment – which some deemed as reflexive reverse racism — that the Cambridge, MA Police “acted stupidly.” The president manned up and provided leadership at a healing “Beer Summit.” Ben Franklin, no stranger to beer, would’ve likely approved this gesture.
Rhetorically speaking, thank God that from now on when thought-terminating clichés such as “racist!,” “sexist!,” “bigot!,” “xenophobe!,” “homophobe!,” “hypocrite!,” “chicken-hawk!,” “Uncle Tom!,” “white supremacist!” etc. are hastily concocted (Max Blumenthal call your office), Americans are no longer intimidated by these divisive, intellectually-stifling smears.
Fearless rhetorical engagement in the modern cultural/political arena of ideas is a good and necessary component of our vigorous and successful Republic.
With principled firmness, a solid rejoinder to race-hustler-ridiculousness: “What hard evidence do you have other than clumsy guilt-by-association character assassination, and/or sins-of-the-father attacks and innuendo?”
Too often Modern Liberal arguments amount to nothing more than self-anointed moral rulings that certain people don’t at all have standing on various issues, especially race. These rulings are never ideologically neutral but, rather, are the notorious political weaponry of Saul Alinsky.
Once exclusively reserved for very effective use against unarmed conservatives, Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” is now self-defeating his radical ideological progeny. Now those are ‘chickens come home to roost’ that can benefit America!
Ridicule is, according to Alinsky, man’s most potent weapon.
Highly effective also is Andrew Breitbart’s approach of keeping the pressure on by freezing the target and making them live up to their own book of rules:
It’s time to hit back at these people — that these people keep calling you a racist… Instead of slinking into the corner and crying or saying ‘I don’t like that,’ you walk straight towards them and confront them; and they’re bullies, they’re just bullies and bullies crumble when you hit them back.
Unity is overrated… Saddle up. Let’s Roll!

With people like Breitbart finally showing us on the right by example how effective standing up against the race baiters we, or at least I, can see light at the end of this old worn out tunnel. Again, excellent post Mr. Baldwin! You never disappoint.

Adam-
You are correct-the term is used to complete STOP discussion of any topic the liberals wish to NOT discuss, to demonize any foe, and is and of itself now a racist remark.
Keep speaking up and doing what you do….I know that even though Hollywood would LIKE everyone to think they are ALL flaming liberals–that the entertainment business is not….just like any other industry-they are diverse:)
"Max Blumenthal call your office"
So very true.
Great article Mr. Baldwin.
Calling someone a racist is just a tactic to intimidate and shut down opposition. Not going to work anymore.
NIFONGING someone is what this is called and they should be called out for being NIFONGs. It's a great word and needs to be resurrected.
.
Calling someone a racist is just a tactic to intimidate and shut down opposition. Not going to work anymore.
What needs to be thrown back in the face of the Dems is that many of the shortcomings, faults and historical sins of this nation, that the Dems so constantly harp upon to prove how evil America is and has been, are and were creations of theirs. It was the Dems who fought a war to defend slavery. It was the Southern Dems who then carried out a hundred year war of terror on blacks while creating Apartheid-like states. It was the Northern Dems who prevented blacks from joining unions for many years thus relegating them to the most menial jobs. And it is the post-60s Dems who have essentially re-enslaved blacks with a dehumanizing form of paternalism meant to forever keep the majority of them dependent upon handouts. The Dems need to be reminded of Their sins any time the conversation of 'race' comes up.
As per usual, great article with insight. Being from NYC, and growing up in the ghetto, my mom taught me that there are two types of people. Assholes and non-assholes. Regardless of race. If I choose to associate with someone, that is my right to associate with whom ever I choose. It does not mean I am racist if I like to hang with, learn with, or work with certain people, it is my choice. I am upset when I hear about myth of institutional racism, and the progressive/socialist solution of quotas. Yet you never hear them complain about the NAACP (black version of the KKK), black schools (Yes, we have those in NYC, and it justified by saying that the absence of white racism helps the students), Ebony and Jet (Vougue, Glamour, and Bazaar are always accused of being racist because they dont have enough blacks on the cover, yet Ebony and Jet never have whites on their cover), black and hispanic congressional caucuses (where is the white congressional caucuses ???), and exclusivly black neighborhoods (let a white person move into Harlem, and they get all kinds of hassles). I could go on, but then it would be repititious. It is very plain to see that Progressive/Socialist use race to further their agendas.
Indeed, intimidation only works if one lets it. Stand and face down the bully; see how quickly their lack of content and thought comes through for all to see.
Great article. I've noticed the current Democratic talking point is now reduced to "Scream Racism". Be it the Tea Party People or the Congressional Republicans or a Rasmussen poll. Breitbart has the right idea. No more polite manner while someone smears you. Demand they back up their lousy reporting and their spurious character assassination and when they can't—and can't even stand up to those demands–show the World what kind of creatures they really are.
I think being called racist is becoming a badge of honor. It means you are standing up for America. If you have not been called a “racist!,” “sexist!,” “bigot!,” “xenophobe!,” “homophobe!,” “hypocrite!,” “chicken-hawk!,” “Uncle Tom!,” “white supremacist!”, lately, then you are not on the front line of the war against turning our country into another failed socialist state. Be proud!
The irony is the majority of people that are screaming racism are in fact the real racists themselves. Typical liberal tactic. Accuse your opposition of being exactly what you, yourself, are.
Big thing now: calling anyone against gay marriage a homophobe. Depressing. A total lack of debate, just throwing name calling at someone.
I used to be intimidated. I have many black friends and when they'd start talking about how they're being held back because of the color of their skin I would point out that they pulled up in a new car and they'd drive back to their 4 bedroom house and then wake up the next day to go to their well-paying jobs. I'd immediately get "Well you'll never understand…."
I recently figured out this was a cop out. It's a conversation-stopper so they wouldn't have to elaborate. It made me accutely aware that none of them actually gave any true thought to racism and what it actually is. They were brain washed into believing they were victims when in fact they were not. Then they'd sit around together and re-enforce this victimhood ideology without talking about what's really happening in their lives.
None of them consider me a racist, but they do know not to bring it up around me because I will challenge them on it. I think if they are challenged enough perhaps they will change their thinking. They are dear friends, I hope I'm right.
'They're just bullies, and bullies crumble when you hit them back.' I know from personal experience that this is completely true. Not only did my accuser look like a fool, but people began to listen when i defended my views on Obama's policies. Keep fighting.
You could do like the liberals, which is to simply.laugh when conservatives call us racists. Which conservatives do, constantly, the race card being all they have left these days. No one will be talking about race, and the conservative cadre flounces in declaring "YOU LIBERALS ARE ALL THE REAL RACISTS!". And the grownups scratch their heads and wonder what brought on that outburst, and go back to talking about whatever it was they were talking about before.
I suppose we could do like conservatives, and use these incidents as an excuse to shout our victim status to the high heavens. We could sit around pouting about how the all the conservatives always call us racists. We could sulkily add " … I guess that just makes me a racist!" to the end of every paragraph, and try to convince ourselves it looks clever and humorous instead of pathetic. Naaah. The whole bitter tears of victimhood thing , not our style.
Great read Adam! Whenever a liberal progressive breaks into any of their “isms or obias” you know you’ve hit the target. Keep it up free America, we have the statist on the ropes, pay no attention to their blather!
New Black Panther Party Decries Indiscriminate “Racism” Charges; Says Abuse of Term “Diminishes Status of Real Racists Like Us” http://optoons.blogspot.com/2009/09/new-black-pan...
Guess it's time to repost a crowd favorite:
Dear Liberals,
Please be advised that your Race Card account has been closed. This decision was based on your account history of excessive over-limit spending. Please destroy your card immediately as it will no longer be honored.
Sincerely,
The American People
You couldn't be more wrong if you tried….
The whole tears of victimhood isn't the liberal's style? Did you really say that with a straight face?
Bwahahahahahahahaaha…..(gasp)…hahahahahahahahahahaha
You get the point. C'mon mamooth, you're not even trying.
Of course, it is a tool of political manipulaion and a lucrative business. It also does not serve the true interest of people nor the cause to end real discrimination and racism. If it did, we would not see and hear on a daily basis the smears and real racism that pervades our culture coming out of Hollywood and the media regarding every other group from italian americans to southern whites. .and let us not forget the new group where you have liscense to mock and ridicule all day long..christians. Lets take Asians, for example, they do not even deserve mention. It is like they do not exist here in this country but in fact they do and are a sizable community of good people and good citizens who rarely are depicted in anything.
When was the last time they were the main stars in a movie or television show? Oh, racism does exist in this nation but it is not bull you have been sold by the racism merchants, the racism academics, and the racist media. The very groups that decry racism on a daily basis typically are the same groups promoting it. The virulent anti-semitism, for example, coming out of the Left wing is a classic undeniable example of this. The constant smears and stereotypes coming out of liberal hollywood are too numerous to count.
Wow! I'm impressed. You copied that post from a conservative and simply replaced all instance of the word "liberal" with "conservative" didn't you? I ask because that's generally the run down of things on most conservative sites.
Quite frankly racism has no teeth anymore which is bad for those few instances where it actually exists.
great post. even non political friends immediately & smugly call "all republicans racist" and it totally makes sense to them. i just keep up the debate and they are shocked that i didnt shut up.
Great essay, Mr. Baldwin. Another tactic of the Alinsky left is to make our children in schools dwell on civil rights and slavery for months on end in history and literature classes. My son was asked to write a poem on a picture of a Klan rally. He was supposed to write his thoughts about racism in a poem. This is what he wrote:
I don’t want to write this poem
It’s a thing of our past
I don’t want to look at those pictures.
Nobody I know is racist.
Racism is like a litter box no one wants to clean.
Racists are old pictures in a photo album that no one wants to look at.
I don’t want to write this poem.
This is a dark spot in our past.
Everyone is over it
Nobody wants to be racist.
This isn’t something anyone wants to put their nose into
any more.
The books you make us read scream hate at us
I don’t want to hate
No one wants to hate.
I want to go out and play with my friends
We can be like Will Smith in “Independence Day.”
We can play as anyone because we’re not racist.
Racism is old and dead
I’m done with racism like I’m done with this poem.
Now let me go out and play.
George Carlin says in that video:
“We don’t mind when Richard Pryor or Eddie Murphy say it why? ‘cause we know they’re not racist. They’re ni**ers!!
That is misleading for it implies that blacks don’t have the capability of being racist, that they are exempt from it.
They are racist like anybody else. And they have the right to be if they want.
It's true, isn't it? There really is no racial epithet for white people. You can call white's "honky," or "cracker," or "Episcopalian," and the could care less. But call them "racist" and THAT's where you have them on the offensive.
can we have Adam take over all of Matt Damon's roles from now on? I'd much rather watch him kick ass than the dumb puppet Damon.
Unless a person really is a racist. Then it's nothing to be proud of.
Racist remarks and comments are used when the anger portion of the brain overtakes the common sense and language areas. They are designed to stifle discussion while at the same time producing an indignuant response.
Over time the meaning of the words used today to goad a reaction, will in all likelihood change. Remember when being gay had a totally different meaning to todays connotations?
I'm guessing your friends may come around one day. All their lives they were inundated with the LIE, and even though their own hard earned acomplishments speaking contrary, it's not always easy to shrug it off. Some of us do so alot earlier than others.
"NO one expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

I agree with nolotrippen: "You can call white's "honky," or "cracker," or "Episcopalian," and the could care less. But call them "racist" and THAT's where you have them on the offensive."
Not only on the offensive they collapse like a deck of cards. You can call whites child molesters, thieves, liars, etc. and it rubs off on them like dust on a CD. But the minute they have the word RACIST hurled at them the become petrified, start sweating like a false witness and their lives are over. That’s the result of decades of browbeating and indoctrinating whites into guilt from kinder to university.
And let's not get into Margaret Sanger-who through Planned Parenthood (the modern tool of her systemic hatred for all minorities and anyone not as 'intellectually capable' as herself) to be anialated as a race/people…..her hatred and scorn is applauded by the likes of 'Pro-Choicers' and liberals like Hilary Clinton and Michelle Obama alike!
It is disgusting and is no less despicable and unhuman as the Hitler & the Nazis, Stalin, and every other despot that has sought power with an iron fist or lamb skinned glove in order to promote their own 'godhood'!
Thank you Mr. Baldwin. Just look at what the Muslims in Europe are trying to do to the indigenous white residents of those counties – in order to shut them up and take over their countries. There are no more race cards. The interest is simply too low to make hay. Accounts closed – forever. Call me what you want – pardon me, I have to go now and dig up Saul Alinsky and dump him on the Capitol steps.
Kudos to your son, Bonnie! Sounds like a fine, intelligent young man.
I suspect the reason the IRS has never audited The Rainbow Coalition is for he same reason – intimidation. Another term libs like to use that is losing its sting – calling anyone who disagrees with them "Hitler".
That in itself is evil not because of Hitler, but it dilutes what the man truly was. The name callers probably have no idea who he truly was.
Question: Why does the press hold up Jackson and Sharpton as "spokesmen" for all blacks? What power they have left is because of the press's adulation.
Rush likes to spoof them calling them the "Justice Brothers".
Take that, Glenn Beck!
LOL! Good one!
Holy Macrel writes "Just look at what the Muslims in Europe are trying to do to the indigenous white residents of those counties – in order to shut them up and take over their countries."
We cannot rely on the Republican Party here in America for “There’s not a dime worth the difference between a Republican and a Democrat.”
But there is hope Holy Macrel. The American Third Position Party, american3p.org

This was a rather passionate post, Adam. I certainly hope it's not because Alec throws this epithet at you a lot.
A racist is the first person to shout "racist" or "racism." Racists only see color. They judge everything by how it looks.
All a pickpocket sees is pockets.
Progressives, by definition are racists. Margaret Sanger, the doyen of the Progressives hated blacks and wanted to have them all aborted. In the quiet of a liberal meeting, you find that same racist. Abortion is to get rid of the poor blacks. Most liberals who have black maids call them "schwartzes" to each other, in private. Liberals reading this know it's true.
Wow, Bonnie. Just. Wow.
Out of the mouths of babes…
Someone's been busy raising her child the right way in spite of a culture and educational system hell bent on undermining and deconstructing all your best efforts. God bless you and keep you, Ma'am.
Great read!!! Ever notice that the first ones to use the race card are the most racist!!!!!!
I agree with all those that say you stand up to a bully. Bullies only have power when we let them have it. Stand up and fight back.
very thoughtful and quite to the point, sir…brilliant…thank you…
I wouldn't worry. They're not related.
And good riddance to that lame cliche' — with it will be the end of yet another power-grabbing gimmick used by the Democratic left to hijack power. When they're stripped of all their smoke and mirrors and slights of hand, they'll deflate and crumble like the straw men that they are, essentially–
Accuse your opposition of being exactly what you, yourself, are.
Standard operating procedure.
"Pip", I've slightly altered your comment. It's much better now.

The cliché is still effective and it has great resonance. Their number one priority isn’t lower taxes, or less spending, or smaller government anything like that. No, their top priorities are declaring over and over and over that they’re not racist, and trying to outliberal the liberals on race. Anyone who thinks the Tea Party movement is going to make any difference is dreaming.
When they feel the need to open their meetings by insisting that it’s not racist, it’s pretty clear that the movement is so PC it’s not even worth bothering with. It used to be that “conservative” meetings would open with the Pledge of Allegiance; now they evidently open with the Pledge to Diversity.
Take a look at the speakers they frantically propped up for their rally in Texas this weekend Feb 27-28
"No one will be talking about race, and the conservative cadre flounces in declaring "YOU LIBERALS ARE ALL THE REAL RACISTS!". And the grownups scratch their heads and wonder what brought on that outburst, and go back to talking about whatever it was they were talking about before. "
That's the problem with your liberal template, Mamooth; it is so reflexive for you to drop casual inferences of racism/sexism/hate at conservatives that you aren't even conscious of it anymore. Trust me, it's REALLY annoying from the recieving end.
Your best stategy would be to quit scatching your head wondering "What's got into HIM?," and engage in a little honest self-reflection on your own deportment.
You're raising him well, Bonnie.
Question: Did they refer him for diversity counselling?
In the heat of haste I didn’t make clear in my last post that I was talking about The Tea Party Movement and the effect the racist label has had on them already.
"Typical Glenn Beck tactic. Accuse your opposition of being exactly what you, yourself, are."
Typical Troll tactic: accuse Glenn Beck of that which he accuses you.
Back under the bridge.
Well said Kris!
"bring me the comfy chair!"
I've heard the "thing you'll never understand" formulated like this: You (well-off white person) got where you are *because of* your race; we (well-off black persons) got where we are *in spite of* our race.
Real racism is a terrible thing, calling innocent people racist is equally wrong. But if the left wants to use racism as a club to hammer anyone who disagrees with them, then being called racist is becoming a badge of honor. We have to stand up to both wrongs!
Name calling is basically the second lowest form of human social interaction, right before all out physical violence.
It is the reaction of the prehistoric human to an "outsider" – someone not of this clan. In that way, racism itself is basically the same as name-calling. They both say: "You are different from me. You think differently from me. I can't deal with that or with you, so I will just ostracize you by calling you a name/labeling you based on either superficial natural traits entirely out of your control (skin color) or based on a completely untrue stereotype (all conservatives are racist)."
I hate it when that happens. My college campus went into a furor one year during Black History Month because a friend of mine ran an article in the school paper demanding to know why it was okay for black people to use the n-word, but not white people. The local TV station picked up the story within a week because there was so much screaming on both sides. Defenders of the word based their arguments on the belief that it's only derogatory when whites use it…or something like that. And the rationalization goes on and on and on….
I just had to make a quick comment here after reading your line on a white person in Harlem.
A few months ago I had to walk 4 or 5 blocks through Harlem on my way to the 125th St station to catch a train home. Along my walk, I was hassled by no less than four groups of youths all saying, "look at whitey" or "hey cracker". Even after I got on the train, at the first stop a black guy got on, looked around, and loudly asked, "what the f*** are all these whiteys doing on the train.?" I honestly found it rather amusing. While I'm sure there are still neighborhoods in this country in which a black person would get hassled, this was metropolitan NY. I have a hard time believing that any black person born or raised in this area, especially in the last 40 or so years, has ever walked through a white neighborhood and experienced the same overt racism. But somehow I'm the racist for thinking they should pull their pants up and do something productive with their lives…
AMEN
[from the other side of The Pond]. The moment people/the media/ono stop saying and writing things like 'OMG, the new person in charge is white/black/yellow/brown/green [you never know!], we will have largely moved past racism. May that day come soon. That's the true legacy of the Rev Dr Martin Luther King and many others.
I also hope we'll all move past making a big thing about gender. Maybe if the USA gets a President who happens to be female one day, we'll find out.
Philippa writes:

People don’t need to elect their government officials and specially their world leaders because the color of their skin or gender. Look who that premise ended us up with in the Oval Office. Intelligent voters (an oxymoron) vote their presidents based on their level of competence and on what is best for them and their group.
I think some progressives are so sure of their ideas that they cannot believe anyone could possibly have a good reason to disagree, they must be racist, some are just using Alinsky, but they all are learning….
Excellent as always, Adam. We have to be every bit as vocal against race-baiting and race-hustling as they do for their own race-baiting.
Mamooth (charming name btw) the bit about 'the whole bitter tears of victimhood thing, not our style'….you are kidding I'm quite sure – if by some chance you believe this, maybe you should research the history of Jesse Jackson, the ACLU and how about Sharpton….check them out and get back at us with your insight – fool
There may not be enough difference, but if you watched the health summitt you saw a huge difference. The basic philosohy of the two parties is quite different. I agree that there are progressives in the Reps, but most are Dems. Some Republicians are bad, but all Democrats are bad. We have to work to make the Repubs. more fiscally responsible.
The VICTIMOLOGY theme of the left ignores a simple truth…
victims get sympathy…not respect.
excellant article, bravo!
That Liberals do not recognize their own racism actually is true, isn't it? It's a massively, profoundly true thing that mamooth said. Liberals self-identify as not-racist. This is an incredibly strong, willful, belief about their own worth.
Nothing much gets through it.
White Liberals will sometimes succumb to the new racism and go down one of those check-lists of white privilege and do some symbolic self-flogging over how guilty they feel because they have no control over how they are treated differently on account of being "white" and what everyone else is supposed to do about it. But that's not any sort of personal acceptance of their own attitudes.
(If anyone has ever seen one of those check-lists to identify white privilege, they're primarily a list of attitudes one has if one is a jerk and then extrapolates that into the assumption that all other white people are a jerk like you are, thus you *still* are not personally responsible for your jerk-ness. So there, again, mamooth is right.)
Very well-written article, Mr. B. Hope your assessment is accurate.
Don't be silly, of coarse it will continue to work, just as the phrase, "you don't look black, I thought you were white, I would never had noticed".
True enough but for the child molester part.
But people aren't going to put up with it any more, this folding when someone calls you a racist directly or by association. Combating racism is very important, but that's not what is going on when "racist" is used to shut people up. And we're not dumb enough not to realize it.
It never does cease to amaze me how some people (of whatever skin color) can honestly believe being racist consists of nothing more than whites hating minorities. Racism is an idea–a bad idea, but an idea nonetheless–to which whites, blacks, Indians, Asians, etc., are all susceptible.
That is the same George Carlin who is incapable of distinguishing between the "context" of a "freedom fighter" versus a "terrorist".
"Context" is a totally subjective term for him.
I worked there for years in Harlem has a medical office manager, so I was lucky (being white myself) all the kids and parents knew me. So I had no problems. In fact, I once did a house call (delivering a patient some medicine), and the lady said "Darling, you to nice to be white, you must have some black in you for being so nice." But, I have seen incidences like yours many many times, and am always struck by the fact that black racist are never called out. Errrr…. let me change that. Black racists goes on to be honored by MSM, allowed to extort money from businesses, become high paying comedians, or political leaders of the oppressed communities they pillage (Hello Charly Rangel) ;0)
That's nice. But can you roll over and play dead?
Adam, Love the commentary, like your work, pretty much you're an all around good guy.
You can 'use' my tweets re: @andrewbreitbart if you want some examples of hitting back, tho Andrew does a much better job, lots of people are getting fed up. Same 'user' on both twitter and here.
great article, Adam…. so true
You've always known how to deal with school yard bullies. You just didn't realize you were dealing with simple bullies.
For far too long they've counted on the class, manners, and politeness of political opponents. And I'm all in favor of class manners and politeness.
But when they take the gloves off, we take the gloves off.
Now go get 'em!
The companies/banks/politicians that caved to the baiters deserve what they lost because they didn't have the stones to stand up to them. Right is right and wrong is wrong regardless of what color you are or how much money you have. They got played based on the perception that they would look like racists if they didn't endorse some lame cause the baiters claimed to be advocating.
Modern liberalism is built on a foundation of emotions. Emotions are no match for logic and facts in a reasoned debate. They know that, even if only subconsciously. So the only play they have in their book is to avoid a reasoned debate.
And this is how you do that. Do not let them frame the debate, do not let the change premise of the debate, and when they try to (and they will) you do not let them.
And when they start throwing a tantrum because you won't, laugh at them.
The only way it works is if you let it work on you. Simply choose not to allow it to affect you, and you're like Neo in the Matrix.
Let them fire their virtual weapons of cheap, unimaginative, profane laced insults. They you simply pluck them out of the air, and drop them to the ground.
This will probably be the only good thing to come out of O'Bambi's single term- the destruction of the power of the "R" word. By calling everyone who disagrees with his radical policies and proposals they have made the word meaningless. Like the boy who cried wolf, no one listens any more.
Let's hope that Jesse, Al, and the rest are forced to find real employment now. The country has been held back by the race hustlers for too long.

To be honest, to some extent, every person on earth is a racist. Let's face it.
All we are is the collective of our own experiences. And if you have never met some one from another race, they only image you would have probably came from the media, or friends, or family. And that's not necessarily wrong or bad. It's human nature. For better or for worse, biologically we aren't really all that different than the cave man who discovered fire. We're hard wired to be on guard against attack, so that what we do not know, we prepare for.
The true racists takes all this to a much higher level. A true racist – and every race has them – makes race the ultimate factor when interacting with anyone.
From Beyond the Fringe:
"Yes, it's an easy mistake to make, particularly when you're being disembowelled by one."
That rocks!
"I'm right there fore you must be wrong, and since your wrong therefore you are a racist."
It's much less time consuming to simply think that then actually think. That's what you're catching them on.
Exactly-they never figured out that they weren't the center of the universe either.
They are still playing at bullies on the playground.
In the light of day and faced with someone not afraid-they will scream and yell and cry 'FOUL'….and God will ing eventually slink back into the hole they crawled out of:)
I wouldn't doubt his super ability.
Dork.
thumbs up from me and Wilma.
" Racist "is the mirror image of the N -word ( a phrase I hate). Oddly enough the more despised of the two words comes from the Latin word for black and is at its heart a descriptive term like "blanco" is for white in Spanish.
Nevertheless, the R word is thrown around so casually , it is coming to make the caller look stupid and bigoted very much just like those who casually would publicly call dark skinned people the N word.
How typical. You liberals can't even create your own comments without resorting to hijacking another and twisting the truth of it–you see? The original comment was correct, and you just proved that point.
“…the destruction of the power of the "R" word.” “Like the boy who cried wolf, no one listens any more.”
Oh no, white Americans are a wiry spool of self-consciousness and they still keep their eyes peeled and their ears on the ground for it. They’re still scared by it. It all take a long time and the reality of being a suppressed and a trampled on minority ‘til they realize the mistake and say f**k it.
They are still seeking acceptance and trying to be “in” and fashionable. So far, they are willing to face extinction á la mode. And perhaps they will.
You didn't need to–we figured it out. And you don't need to be hasty either–no one's going to rush to read your comment. Stop listening to the MSM; you'll be wiser for it.
Oh, and that cliche' is a gimmick and it is, in fact, losing it's resonance and impact, as is the democratic party. Not that it had to, but you've all gone so far to the left that you've fallen out of your own party.
If you're going to comment on what someone has written, be an adult and confront the author, liberal. That's how we do things here. I've let the author know about your snake-like maneuver.
I remember when my now ex-husband became a relentless tyrant insisting that I was cheating. Though I had done nothing whatsoever to elicit his emotion, nor is that type behavior part of my genetic or moral make-up, he was relentless. Turns out HE was the one cheating. Funny how that happens, huh?
"Anyone who thinks the Tea Party movement is going to make any difference is dreaming."
The Tea Party has already made a difference, liberal, and a good difference–and a far more of positive impact in this country than the democratic party has made in 40 years.
Is that another leftist gimmick, now–We're all racists AND dreamers? Back to the dungeon, troll.
