The people in the military and law enforcement all care a great deal about this country and they would never fall under a tyrant. One of there greatest things about them is they've stayed apolitical, otherwise America would just be another third world junta. They do this because they know despite it's flaws America's system of goverment works. Someone like Mark really just hates cops and the government no matter whose in charge.

Wether the Blue of my uniform was Air Force Blue or or Dad's PD Blue,..

The mission is defending the American people, and deep in my soul, I believe most if not all will remember that.

CgntvDssdnt, did you write that comment yourself or did Bill Ayers have a moment to spare? He seems to have enough audacity to go around-you've come a long way baby! I was around (young flower child) during the 60's and the 70's on the west side of L.A. and the flower children you speak about were about as much of a minority as the main stream media was back then and is today. Although the way they cry about that mean old FOX, you'd think they were children. By the way, there's a little guy in North Korea who is also in the minority.

The funny thing is the liberals who screamed about Bush taking away their freedoms can thank themselves for this. They screamed about how Bush should have sent the National Guard or Army and taken over the recovery operations.

Fear our motives? And not our numbers? Indeed. You should fear the consequences of living in a democracy. You should embrace the power of your voice, and make the most of what a vocal minority may accomplish.

After all, a vocal minority can have important consequences. In the 60s, the flower children were far from a majority. Yet they made a key difference in the perception and direction of the Vietnam war. This is a fair comparison – and you should take inspiration from it.

People on the Left, take heed. Obama was elected with a mandate. The majority of Americans want health reform. These two points will be historical footnotes if the Democrats fail to simply "get it done".

Look at the way this is going America. The opportunity is dissipating. Do we really truly desire reform? Or will we settle for more Republican lip service and more 3rd world health care? Well, the time to act is now. The time to stand up and RAISE OUR VOICES is now.

OR, as the above article aims, we can give this moment away. It is ours to lose, and we'll have only our selves to blame.
